In this episode we start the tear down of the 2024 Harley Davidson Nightster front end.
We start to process of building aftermarket triple trees for the Nightster, and we finally see what the new front suspension on the 2024 Nightster has to offer.
We are Kruesi Originals, a performance Harley Davidson shop in Phoenix Arizona. We specialize in aftermarket performances parts for Harley Davidson, and American V twin.

I was looking at a nighater a couple years ago. There is literally no support or I would have bought one. I guess I still can but honestly don’t think the line would stick around because of slow sales

I don’t have one of these bikes but I originally rode a Sportster S when they first debuted at Sturgis in 2021 and the shit was insane even though it’s not the best looking bike. They pop wheelies with just throttle and my buddy and I got them up to 130mph. It felt like a mix between a Yamaha and a Ducati. We both have 39mm Dyna’s and basically both agree’d Harley needed to make a dual shock more traditional style bike with that 1200 Sportster S motor. That bike with a 120hp was straight up still to this day the most fun bike I’ve ridden.

Wish they edited it to have more about his wrenching. The nuggets he drops about process are always the best. This had some but I was hoping for more.
I have this bike and I cannot believe that it's taken two years of waiting for someone brave enough to show it some love. Right now it is at @Blockhead getting exhaust and tune... Looking forward to seeing what you can do,

@@shanethedestroyer I put the velocity stack intake on the exterior, and replaced the filter inside the box with a K&N. I don't know any numbers yet,

I’ve never been more excited for a bike build. When I saw the nightster 975 I thought it looked just like a Dyna.

Hi guys. Great to see the Nightster on the workbench, ready for some long overdue TLC and freedom of expression. Long may it continue. Heres my 10 cents worth of observations. The 975T Nightsters potential has been grossly overlooked since it was first unveiled mid 2022. I brought one with the Red tank cover ( natch), its had a few non start issues (come on Harley, on a new model..... Really...). I have added a windscreen , saddlebag and sheepskin seat cover , it makes a great, fast little day tripper. After 18 months of ownership i felt that something was missing, not quite sure what though.... A local friend had a 2022 Honda CB 500 F and repainted the Black front fender Yellow to match the tank,it looked much better, more complete maybe. The 'lightbulb' moment came on, off with 975T fenders and straight around to the local paint shop guys with the tank cover. Ten days later, i collected the freshly painted Red fenders and refitted them. Wow, what a transformation, the bike looks complete and ready to fly, believe me. I have a couple of classic Sportsters ,'57/'68 plus '42 WLD and a 2009 XL 1200 (Red of course) .I only ride the 975T nowadays, its a great little bike. PS Im 73 years young, keep riding and wrenching, its a great life. Best regards from New Zealand. Cheers, Bob

I bought my 2023 nightster In March I wasn’t 100% sure what I thought about at first because that stock exhaust pipe is like a fleshlight/leafblower but after some modifications like bar risers and a new slip on and just small custom things I absolutely love it.
Love to see someone actually work on newer models. As younger guy I like the new stuff HD has.
I own a ‘22 Nightster and love it. Not even a Harley guy as I was looking at a Ducati or Triumph for my first street bike. I come from a dirt bike background so was originally thinking of getting a scrambler but this bike rips.
Did you compare the Nightster with the Sportster S (1250 RevMax)? What made you decide on the Nightster? The styling maybe?
@@Jonathan-L I liked the Sportster S but it was more bike then what I needed plus it was more expensive. The new Nightster has plenty of power and is super nimble and responsive for carving in the canyons. Good to test ride though if you are looking at both bikes.
This build has me wishing I bought a different bike this year! Really stoked about this build/series!! I also love the "open table" idea spitballing in this vid. Its dope to hear ideas come to life.
Your video was literally the reason I went out and bought one of these bikes. I have an ‘08 FXD, and this is the first new HD I have been excited about. So stoked to see what you guys do with it, and I’m anxiously waiting the aftermarket parts you’ll spawn with this build!

Bought my first harley a year ago (22 Sportster 48) and i think one of these bad boys is going to be my next purchase. I'm stoked to see yall's final product. This bike is seriously slept on and its way more badass than i thought when i first threw a leg over at the dealer.

Ngl hesitant to buy into the hype so far. Prob just me, but looking forward to where this goes. On a side note, whoever is editing this is cutting some of the gold nuggets of what Ryan chirps out while wrenching. One of my favorite things about this channel the knowledge he spits when working through problems or rebuilding something he’s done a million times. Maybe it’s just me but his process and tips are gold. Hope to see them come back.

I own a 24 Nightster special, do yourself the favor and go test ride one of them. They are INSANE, super fun, super planted, and liquid cooled. The aftermarket isn't great, however, for a stock bike it really is an amazing bike.

I’ve got a 23 Nightster and I love it. It makes me think of a modern dyna. So far I just have a set of buck horn crash bars (for a sportster s but with spacers and longer bolts, they fit) and a Motherwell sissy bar. Love what you’re doing and will probably steal some of your ideas for my own bike 😂
Almost 4k miles on my 2023 model. Super excited for this build

Honestly, honestly, I don’t want them to go this route with all the Harley Davidson’s but it is a pretty bad ass motor

I have the earlier version of it . Street rod 750- XG750A. Installed Ohlins front and rear and need no other bike. The revolution platform is good . I don’t understand the hate. Nightster 975 will be even better. The Ohlins blackline for street rod 750 might fit good . It’s 14 inch tall.
I was wanted to ride one of those two I thought that would be a great stunt bike
It is like a mini fatbob at a fraction of the price of fatbob( fatbob is a good bike and is more power). Just like many Harleys it hard to adjust to stock riding triangle. I had to swap the foot control mounts to regular street 500 and install a simple Rox pivoting risers and aftermarket seat from Corbin( I know you are not a fan of Corbin). Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Looking forward to this nighster built that you are doing. Love the suspension height increase already . I like that parallel to the ground stance than that sloppy stance on a motorcycle. These machine are fun and like what you do.

Heck yeah, I just put a Krator fairing on my 24 nightster special. Super fun bike, over 2,000 miles on mine since April.
Pretty cool I don’t know if I missed it. What are you gonna do with the electronics. I know you’re having trouble doing burnouts and stuff, traction control, have you found the way to shut that stuff off? It would be cool to have it and be able to shut it off. Thanks nice watching

I never even considered replacing the headlight on my nightster, the stock one is a weapon on high beam.

I want to see an in depth discussion on chain conversion, best types of chains to use, what the deal is with your guys adjusters etc! Also maybe in a future video with a different bike i want to see how you guys go about cleaning up the handle bars of the electricals! 🤘🏻

I rented one and rode it for a day before I bought a Triumph Bobber.
Ultimately I didn't buy it moreso because of how plastic it looks stock. I wish you guys had done this video 2 months earlier!

@@kruesioriginals I love this Harley bro , it almost leaves speechless it has that bad ass Harley feel with a new faster feel. It’s a bad ass bike . But I do want to take the handle bars off and add the mini ape’s that Harley sells for it . And no problems at all I’ve put about 1300 miles on it and it handles this bad heat really good .

There are videos of Nightster builds coming out of Asia. There was even a Nightster fitted with an ST fairing.
