Have you thought about doing a video series on using these sounds in the context of a song? For new bass players like myself that would be very useful.
Not really as a bass teacher I can tell you it doesn't help. You have been hearing bass in that way all of your life anyway. You need to hear the details of the sound and how to actually create sounds so you can get your sound from your head out to the rest of the world.
