I mean.. as much as I love Just Dance, ever since 2019 just Dance came out, it just went down hill for me- I prefer the older Just Dances my favorites are 100% Just dance 2014, 2015 or Just Dance 4. I don’t man.. older songs are whole lot better than the songs now, in my opinion at least.

And sexual content songs.. plus the music is really loud- I would listen to the 2014 songs(on the game) on repeat than hearing the songs past 2019- Don’t get me wrong- there are SOME songs I love from 2019-2020 Like; Heather, You are the reason, Hold on, Say you won’t let go, there just love simple songs, with nothing to extreme.. While Señorita is a girl who had no-no with a boy inside of a hotel that she just met(one night stand I think.) (just an example)

With Hip Hop becoming major hit songs these days, Pop songs being less iconic than they were pre-2016, and being too expensive for Ubisoft to get the license to, Ubisoft has no choice but to add unknown songs with some popular Pop songs and sometimes if they aren’t too expensive, R&B and Hip Hop. But lately, Pop songs are becoming better and being more common now, and with the way JD2022 is going right now, I think this year’s game will be even better. JD2021 did have better songs than JD2020 due to better Pop songs in 2020, the year this game was released, while the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 songs (not the Just Dance games) were repetitive.
I only know few of these songs like blinding lights and the navy song for some reason. I think they also destroyed woody in the you've got a friend in me.

I remember when just dance was about sweating and giving us dances that were an actual challenge. Literally only thing you move in these dances are 90% your arms, 5% your legs, and the other 5% your hips.

To the people saying the dances are lazy... When dances aren’t easy and people don’t get it super fast, people tend to dislike the game. Then sales go down. In my opinion, JD2018 was the last “good” one, and even then it’s debatable. Not everything can be Rasputin. Half the point of rasputin was meant to be mimicking a Russian style of dance. ALSO! It depends what song you choose! There’s plenty of harder songs, you just have to play them. It AAALLSSOO depends how much effort you put into it! A song like Rasputin could be played by just moving your one hand, or a song like Baby Shark could leave you sweating. Some of the games make up for this though by adding the “extreme” versions of songs where it’s much harder.

There already is one, but to be honest, the animation just looks cheap and they don't have any modern musicals on there. I really want them to do a broadway one but in the style of the regular just dance (and a Eurovision Just Dance would be great too haha)
i think it has to do with the rights of the songs. i also read somewhere that bighit does not allow their songs to be played in videogames or something like that. again: the company probably cant buy the rights to the songs, or bighit doesn’t allow it. i’m not sure
I never knew K-pop songs were appeared on Just Dance 2021 especially BLACKPINK, NCT 127 and TWICE! Now, Just Dance 2022 is now released, hopefully they have BTS and more K-pop songs because I love K-pop!!!!
id love to see more rock and metal songs. most of the songs I don't like and only dance to ones I like which are a very few. I have a large list of songs id love to dance -I mean pages and pages of artists and songs, and I even created dance moves for song I love. I've been really dissatisfied with the song lists and id love to see more good songs I grew up with. :)
I'd die for a "Just Dance Rock Version". I remember there used to be a Wii Sing Rock, and as far as Karaoke games went that was my absolute favourite. Something like that but dancing would be fun, but I have a feeling not enough would buy it unfortunately.

But lately, Pop songs are becoming better and being more common now, and with the way JD2022 is going right now, I think this year’s game will be even better. JD2021 did have better songs than JD2020 due to better Pop songs in 2020, the year this game was released, while the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 songs (not the Just Dance games) were repetitive.

I remember when just dance was about sweating and giving us dances that were an actual challenge. Literally only thing you move in these dances are 90% your arms, 5% your legs, and the other 5% your hips.
it’s because on some versions you hold a phone or a joy con, and then your score is based off of your arm movement
It’s still difficult on some you just have to do the right ones
There are extreme versions for a reason

To the people saying the dances are lazy...
When dances aren’t easy and people don’t get it super fast, people tend to dislike the game. Then sales go down.
In my opinion, JD2018 was the last “good” one, and even then it’s debatable.
Not everything can be Rasputin. Half the point of rasputin was meant to be mimicking a Russian style of dance. ALSO! It depends what song you choose! There’s plenty of harder songs, you just have to play them. It AAALLSSOO depends how much effort you put into it! A song like Rasputin could be played by just moving your one hand, or a song like Baby Shark could leave you sweating.
Some of the games make up for this though by adding the “extreme” versions of songs where it’s much harder.
I love this playlist. I know a lot of these songs and their outfits are awesome. Cool video
