Hi, Joie. It’s Sandra. My just turned 7 yr old grandson just competed in National Bible Quizzing this past weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His Beginner team won 2nd place nationally. I am one proud Nonie!🥰

I forgot to explain about print heads, as I explained my husband had been very ill and hadn’t used the eco printer for several months. We had plenty of ink so tried the nozzle cleaning several times and got blank paper. Then test paper function still nothing, then power clean and faint lines appeared, finally took in for service and the engineer took it apart and soaked the ink heads over several days. Eventually he got a result, just at the point we thought it was passed repair. We have been advised to run it regularly and keep ink tanks at a reasonable level. Lesson learned as I started having problems with mine when the tank levels became too low. Once I topped them up, I still had to do several ink nozzle prints and a power clean to get a crisp image again, in spite of this I am delighted with the printer and it has been very cost effective. In the past my old printer had prevented me from ordering digital downloads or putting personal photos in my daily planner. I hope this helps. The outlay (although a generous birthday Christmas present) has saved me so much money on cartridges.

I absolutely agree...we keep the ink topped up, like a petrol tank, it shouldn't get too low. Great point!!!🥰👍💜

I have an Ecotank. I used the clean nozzle and clean the print heads...that can completely soak the pads inside. My printer is EPSON 2760 which I just found out is discontinued. I bought new in 2020. With my 1400 pandemic money. Had I known I would have gone up another 100 dollars. I have the model that they made no replacement parts for the area that holds new pads. I did however find a UA-cam video on how to take it apart and clean the pads. When you do the power clean it shoots ink from every single bottle into the pads, saturating them. In other model Epsons you can buy the entire piece in the back with the pads in it and just remove the older and pop in the new.
I spent one afternoon washing out the pads. Then 3 days of drying them in open window. Popped them back in and good as new. I don't know what I will do when this one stops working. It's my lifesaver as far as junk journals and paper stuff.
