The plot of this film is that An undercover Houston police officer poses as a reliable hitman to arrest those trying to hire him until he tries to save a woman in need.
Its obviously about a fake hitman who actually works for the police and falls in love with one of his clients. I dont what's there not to understand

What's with the Kill Bill music and the yellow title cards from Kill Bill too?
Yellow with black lettering is the most used combo in advertising, as it has the highest contrast between colors (yes, stands out more than black and white even)... So you'll see it around if you pay attention, start looking at billboards on the side of the road.

The movie is a romantic comedy more than anything else with some other genres on it. Saw it a couple of months ago and loved it more than I had expected

The thing bout Glen Powell is that he lacks that certain charisma of a star who could come to the screen and do nothing but still be the show stealer. It has nothing to do with looks or acting skill cause he sure has both but still that inner charisma of a leading man feels missing for him 🫠
I think it depends on the character. Set it Up was the first time I saw him and I thought he did well, but I get what you're saying and I agree.

And yet it has 96% on RT and every review mentions his insane charisma so go figure.
