It is worse. This bands new sensor layout actually makes it perform far worse than the band 8. I was gonna get a band 9 but I watched “the quantified scientists” video on it and and actually the accuracy of the 9 was worse than the 8
@@noone-bt2dm i just got the 8, I was wondering about working out in the hot summer, so far is fine, but it isnt full summer yet, most of my days go by 28 to 30 celcius, summer would be more like 30 to 34 tops

Edit: also if you check the characteristics of the 8 and the 9 it says on the 8 i can function up to 45 Celsius i think, whereas its lower for the 9. But i guess we'll find out 🤷
@@noone-bt2dm I dont swim, but I would not use it on the beach, also huawei band 8 its pretty accurate on heart tracking, thats why I got it, the gt3 pro its even better but way more expensive, this is the cheapest better tracking device
