this was insightful, im planning to recreate the covers of 3 books over the coarse of this comming year as a gift for my friend. and knowing I can use polymer clay should help a ton, though ill have to turn them from paperbacks to hard backs for a more secure fitting.
I am loving these book covers and wanted to try this as well. May I ask why you bake an hour? As far as I know on the fimo itself is written it should be baked for 30 min and also at a different temperature. Does it not become darker then or even burn when I go with higher temperatures and longer time? Or does it break when I stick with the fimo recommendations?
I apologize for the late reply. I have been away for awhile. I bake them for 50 Mins at 250F in my oven, the longer you bake them the stronger they will be, now oven varies. I have experimented with different baking times and temp and with 50 mins is the ideal for my oven. If I go short, will turn brittle. Just try your oven and see what works best for you. Thank you
Love love live your videos and art. ❤️
Thank you Maya😊
