Thinking of Hayley's speech talking about how when they came around, emo / punk rock wasn't a safe space for people who were different. Media making "female-fronted band" seem like a genre. Media and bands not taking them seriously at all because Hayley was a young woman and the band did shit differently. Same thing with My Chemical Romance. When they came around and they embraced androgyny + non-conformity, and stood up for women, poc and queer people (where barely anybody else was doing this btw), a HUGE amount of people thought of them as a joke. Bands, media and punk enjoyers alike. People always forget they weren't always this celebrated in the scene. To a lot of people they were just seen as an annoying, make up-wearing sissy band that were full of shit. Stuff like Warped 2004 comes to mind when the creator of Warped purposely made MCR play back to back with a bigoted band, and that band spent half of their set calling Gerard homophobic slurs and other disgusting ass shit. Forums filled with people backing that band's statement. This is another reason why I think MCR made that statement at WWWY. Back during the Revenge era they were called slurs and were treated like dog shit from all around, and now suddenly it's become very profitable and demanded? Of course they would choose to take the piss. It was funny as hell. That's why I'm also happy as hell that bands like them have a camaraderie. Hayley talking about how when they were just a tiny little band during Warped 2005 nobody really paid attention to, Gerard took the time to watch their full set :)
All of this 👏 MCR were HATED in the early 2000’s. Like, it was not cool to admit you liked them. Gerard would speak openly onstage in support of the female, gay and trans kids who were fans of theirs and it always pissed off the types of dudes who came to those shows to be toxic and aggressive. They would routinely be called homophobic slurs and get all kinds of shit thrown at them, and they never backed down (if anything, it only made them bolder onstage). There are people now who have been wearing their shirts and who know all the words to their songs and have been freaking out about getting tickets to their reunion tour who I know for a fact talked a lot of shit about them back in the day.
@@bree8762 Wasn't just dudes; my GF at that time said pretty much the same stuff & so did all her friends. Goths really did not like MCR or anything emo; never got it bc it's so similar stylistically.
@@entropyfan5714 oh for sure, and as a girl who was very conscious of social self-preservation within those types of scenes, I get why she was, it only makes sense to laugh along with “the boys” lest you’re singled out next. Not even emo, and I watched this whole video because it was so well done. It was a really good glimpse into all the culture within the emo community. Thank you. I was just really moved by simply hearing about all of this, especially the conclusion.

I know it's not exactly the same, but this I think is how I felt after seeing MCR on their reunion a couple months ago. My best friend and I went together. It was a show that wasn't supposed to exist since it was added after COVID. I was going with a ticket that wasn't supposed to be mine, but now was mine. And all with one of my favorite people- both of us musicians, both of us introduced to MCR well after their breakup. We screamed our hearts out to songs that saved us, saved our friends, saved our friendship. We made a little mosh in the stands, pumped our fists to the anthems, and left not really knowing what we were feeling. Like. Of course, it was an incredible show. Of course, it was emotional. But I think (at least for me), it set me up to go towards the world now. Not "move on" per se, but now I feel like I'm finally ready to go and claim my own place in music. Get involved with my own local, small scene (which I'm discovering is actually like. Pretty expansive). I'm ready to share my own songs that (being honest) I stewed in alone for way too long before publishing. That show happened for me, not to pull me back, but push me forward.
If you liked Hayley’s speech, you should check out the podcast she did for BBC called “everything is emo” it’s basically a series of her own curated radio broadcasts where she discusses each track and it’s really cool.
The speech at the end was amazing!! As a "younger" fan of emo it often feels slightly disheartening when those older than me try to gatekeep because "they are the ones truly experiencing the nostalgia", even though most of these bands I've been listening to my entire life due to being exposed to it by my parents, I was just younger when I was having those first experiences, ya know? So it feels really nice to hear someone say that we need to make room for more people, young or old. Make emo the safe space that Haley was talking about in her speech
As a 29 year old "old" emo, I'd like to say on behalf of the rest of us - F*CK those guys. This shit is supposed to be all about inclusivity. I think one big difference between "punk" and "emo" is that punk wasn't as much about that, as you were called a poser if you didn't know this about that, or dressed a certain way. With emo music, a lot of that goes out the window. You should be able to be yourself. No matter what you look like, your gender, race, how you dress, where you come from, or how old you are. I'd love to run into some of you guys to show you all the "older" emo shit I used to listen to when I was your age, and you could get me hip on some of the new shit. Right?? Maybe I'm reading into it too much (that's the emo in me 😂) and some people are just straight up bitter. Either way- much love to you. 🖤 You're always welcome, period.
Not welcoming young people is incredibly stupid. It's not your fault you were born later than someone. I was born in 1991 and I've had my fair share of gen x douche bags being exclusionary toward me when it comes to certain music.
bruh, I was planning on seeing MCR at a festival. they had to cancel due to Georgia's open carry laws. the festival was held in a public park and that means that the concert people couldn't ban firearms from the event and the insurers didn't want to cover it for obvious reasons so the festival got canceled. I got a full refund for the festival tickets. I went to a different MCR concert in the same area.
I was gonna go to that festival too! Cause MCR and FOB were headlining and they’re like my 2 favorite bands! Luckily MCR played a show on the day they were supposed to play that festival in Alpharetta and I went and it was the best concert ever.
I remember thinking “this is gonna be a disaster” and thinking I was right with the Saturday events. Then I remember being pleasantly surprised when it actually happened that Sunday and people were having a good time. Then I remember thinking “well, it may be fun and all, but there’s NO WAY this isn’t a one-and-done festival. SURELY they won’t have another one…” And then they announced year two, with not only a bigger lineup, with blink-182 and Green Day headlining, but blink-182 with TOM DELONGE….. and I decided to shut up
Problem is Year Two was announced and sold before this one even happened. I was getting presale texts and offers for next year before I even saw how this year turned out. Got tix anyway because if anything either refund from cancellation or just sell them if I don’t like the vibes.
Hayley’s speech really meant a lot to me. I remember being made fun of for listening to this kind of music growing up. The topics of mental health were very taboo, and I felt like I had nowhere to belong. And then I remember all that changed my first Warped Tour. I finally found a community of people who shared the same pains I was going through, who liked the same music I was listening to, and who finally found a sense of home like I did. Things weren’t always like this, and I’m incredibly proud of the progression. I am ecstatic to see more POC in the scene, mental health being a subject that many people consider and talk about nowadays, and acceptance and awareness for those in the LGBTQ+ communities. This is something we can’t take for granted and must champion for the next generation. I’m so excited for the direction we’re heading in.
Great video! My wife and I had tickets fir Saturday and were devestated. Luckily we found tickets for sunday through a stranger on FB but when we got to the gate they wouldn't scan! They let us through anyways and it was an amazing experience. Watching this video let me relive it again so thank you.

@@happyzombiikitti I never heard that before. I know she dated Travie McCoy. She used to do christian music in her early days and I remember her participating on a P.O.D song.
It’s been disheartening to get over the Saturday cancellation. My brother and I travelled from Panama, spent thousands of dollars to drive around in the wind watching other people be disappointed as well. We were fortunate and got to see BMTH, I ended with whiplash which is still funny to me. I’ve been looking forward to videos like this of Sunday, just to glimpse what I lost. Thanks for your perspective
Being locked out of the Saturday tickets and having to get Sunday tickets turned to be a blessing in disguise. What an amazing festival. And the experience definitely cannot be replicated with next years lineup
Before WWWY, I was sad I got MCR tickets for Vegas a month before WWWY After WWWY, I was glad that I got a good MCR set, didn't go bankrupt and didn't have anything cancelled on me. Ended up seeing all the bands I wanted to in the weeks proceeding anyways.
Before WWWY, I've neverrrr been able to get tickets to paramore. I never made it to presale, and when I did get to the site on time, all of the floor tickets were always sold out. When this was announced, me and my best friend said "hell yeah let's do this!" we knew we were going to go for GA+ tickets, and we were ready on that morning. I was literally in a zoom class and had 3 or 4 browsers open refreshing. When I didn't get the tickets, and saw the sold out tweet for Saturday I was crying. Paramore has always been there for me, after so many years of trying for tickets and never getting any, I had started to give up on ever seeing them live, and just appreciating that I had them in the first place. But this festival was my chance. I had this feeling that this was going to happen. I may never win anything, but that I was going to get that ticket, and see Paramore. I was refreshing out of denial, and then suddenly the site was working, and I was paying for 2 tickets. My friend was paying for 2 as well because we were afraid something would happen. By the time we had out tickets, the tweet came out saying that it was for Sunday, a second day they had just announced. I thought that was weird, but I was grateful because it was the same lineup. People were so negative about it. "Emo Fyrefest" And then we paid off the tickets. Got our wristbands, our hotel f-ed up and had to give us a different room, but we were there. I hurt my ankle, so I limped the whole weekend. Then the winds.. my friends were kind of being dicks about it. They didn't get that there were people like me who would be crying and broken over not getting to see their favorite band. I felt for them man. If I had gotten the Saturday ticket, that would have been me too. But Sunday finally came around, I lost my friends halfway through because they got way too drunk, so it was just me, in the GA pit, waiting for Paramore. I cried through almost every song. Screamed, made friends around me, we cried and danced together. Hayley wasn't an ant, I was there, and I had pictures/videos. I can still close my eyes while listening to the set and remember what I was seeing. I fucking love Paramore so muuuch. I can't say enough how much it meant to see them live like that.
Thank you for the insights and great footage!! You really summed up the state of emo culture in 2022, I'm so glad that new bands are doing interesting things with the label instead of simply hyperfixating on a past that can never be relived in quite the same way. It would be a dream of mine to play at a festival like this in the future
this may be a pretty weird place to say something like this, but for personal reasons I was feeling kinda bittersweet about not being able to go Saturday like I had planned. I was there with some real corny family (won't go into details), and in retrospect I really kinda felt like, if I ended up going, I would've had this constant feeling of being under the shadow of people who I genuinely dislike, who didn't enjoy this kind of music anyway, and who have done some real rough stuff to me. Instead, I got to spend most of the day alone in a hotel room, blasting the music I wanted to while they went out to look around Vegas. Even if I was super alone at that point, it felt way more real and personal than the festival itself would've been given the circumstances. Ik this is just my personal experience and not everyone else got anything positive out of the cancellation, but I'm super happy that I was able to make something work that, more than likely, would have topped the festival experience had it happened normally.
Dude I love All American Rejects. I saw them at the Ventura County Fair last summer and they were just super excited to be there and vibing with the crowd, it was great those guys really care about their fans.
Wow, that last min was really touching. Thats exactly how I feel about emo music. It really did so much in shaping me into who I am today. Hayley's speech made me tear up.
absolutely nailed the point at the end. there was always a fuck ton of misogyny in the emo scene and it still lingers despite being “nonconformist” somehow there has been a stereotype created about punk/emo men being pedos. lol.
There are pedos everywhere unfortunately. Some communities more than others, so it creates a stereotype. The reality of the situation is that most kids listening to punk and emo music probably aren’t in the best states of mind, making them easy targets for the degenerates.
@@karkitty202 That's a bullshit cop out. Indian Summer occurred in the 80s and several dudes in the hardcore scene were against misogyny and excluding women. Giving teenage boys and men free passes for years is the issue here.
Glad you had a good time! Wasn't too interested in going myself since I live on the complete opposite side of the country, but it looked like a lot of fun. Really needed to hear that Haley Williams speech after not being able to buy pit tickets to their NA tour next year, because Ticketmaster. Also, I'm glad somebody hasn't forgotten about the ATL allegations. Obviously nothing has been proven yet, but they could've just removed Jack Barakat from the band and no one would've had a problem with that. New Racoon Tour song slaps btw dude!
God damn man, I couldn't stop bawling my eyes from the Paramore speech to the ending of your video on how we should hold that nostalgia we love but find a way to pass it down. Very well done vid man
"What was the point?" part kinda made me "Awwn" a couple times, and I really feel some healthy envy that you got to dance to My Chemical Romance like we all wished to do when we were 17. Nice video!
Glad Hayley brought up the wonderful start of emo, and how the plot really got lost over the years. I have a lot of respect for her and the shit she put up with in the scene just like the rest of us who aren't cis, straight, white men. I'm glad to see bands like the Linda Lindas getting their chance to shine.
Hey Nate thanks , just thanks , your band survival guide vid inspired me and my brother to make a band and now we’re making an album and our lives are better than ever thank you
Growing up as a bipoc emo/alt kid was rough back in the early to mid oughts. I really shed a tear with Hayleys speech, because it’s so necessary to realize that emo included more than just a white skater dude. It was an amazing subculture for anyone who felt misunderstood.. specially for bipoc communities like us.
Was there for the last leg of the festival. Had a great time, only regret is not buy the GA+ to be closer to the stage because where we ended up it was filled with to the brim with people not wanting to have any sort of fun. Definitely will consider getting better tickets next time.
Loved it! Great work, and at the end, I had a tear in my eye, wether it is seeing my brother having fun, or maybe the music, IDK, but you get it! I will be honest, I do not align with EMO sub culture, or that sphere at all, I come from a very different aspect, culture, you name it. Yet, I can relate to what is being said, because it brought the feelings that I had when I went to my first AnimeCon (SakuraCon) back I 2017. I had the time of my life, and I did it, because at the time I was sick, and I was told that I would be dead (no need be sad, I'm not and did arise from that step back or fall pit). So I wanted to do something I always wanted to do, and I did, and it is crazy how a person can make things they never thought it would become possible when they are told, they are about to leave earth. With that context in mind, I felt I belong after I went there, and I can understand what being part of something means. I must admit, I'm not a fan of the whole create space thing, I think we should just have one space for everyone, and "create" space for people of color, because Nate the WHITE, is not stopping me from buying a ticket and being there, if I wanted to, so it is time to move on, when it comes to that aspect, YET!! I'm glad you had fun, and many others did as well, and I really liked that guy whom was dancing around the end, with the pink pijamas, or jeans, IDK, this is all new to me, but it is a welcoming new. Love to you all, and peace be upon you.
Haley Williams is an icon! She did some special curated experiences at Bonnaroo a few years back that were magical. I was really sad for Armor for Sleep
I work building some of these stage’s. Every major event for these structures have a high wind action plans. Sucks but the weather doesn’t always permit things to happen. Rather it be canceled then endure a tragedy leading to a death.
ah yes, bmth crowd is always soooo rowdy, but everyone always takes care of each other, and oli is always so courteous of making sure the crowd is safe as much as he can. love that
Thank you!!! I might have not been able to see the show but I felt like I was there! I enjoyed this greatly and hope to see more like this! 😊 Emo for life
Mate, I was in Arkansas when I read about the wind shutting down Saturday and I totally got it, because the wind was insane IN ARKANSAS. I could only imagine how it would be in a desert environment
it's very sad because the proposal of the festival is very good because everyone who was emo knows all the bands that were part of the headline, they did a very good job in the choices and it could've been great

Very well made video! Please continue making vids like these! Definitely brings me back to high school watching this, I wish I could have gone to this in hindsight
They should do this again, people know now it can work. And also, we don't have Warped tour anymore which FEELS kinda like this(??? Idk anyway bc i'm from Argentina and went to neither. But it looked cool af i loved the lineup
“bring out the rapist!!” Fucking threw 😂😂😂 This was such a good video! Your speech at the end made me cry!! I just wanted to say that I was fortunate enough to go to Saturday October 29 with a GA ticket! I flew to Vegas from Edmonton , Alberta & was there for 6 days, including Halloween! & all the kinks were worked out by then! We lined up at 9, ran straight to merch, only waited for maybe half an hour for band & then waited for 5 more for WWWY merch, I had a locker reserved so we went & threw our merch in there, got some food, saw all the bands we wanted.. It was SUPER warm. Pale people getting sunburned left & right. Sounds like our day was a little more stinky than yours. I’m sure you heard about Gerard Way’s more Hilter-esque costume that day. I however did not find out about the GA pit until after the whole thing was over & everyone started leaving & I saw the separate fenced off area! So that was a bummer. But I was absolutely “turnt” on those Angst drinks so I wasn’t too bummed. MCR & Paramore FORMED my early teenage years & I will be praying for P@TD & FOB for 2024 headliners 🙏🏼 Edit: We also went super skeptical about it being too good to be true & went with the mentality that if it did get cancelled or fall through, it was just gonna be 6 days of Halloween in Vegas. If you prepare for disappointment, you won’t be disappointed. But if there is no disappointment, you will be extremely pleased.
I was a Saturday person and my whole trip to Vegas was great other than then cancelation. Me and my GF stayed at the Excalibur as well! Freemont was dope and it def softened the blow but my GF was devastated 😭. We bought tickets for next year already and hope to have better luck. Maybe we will see you next year!
As someone who lived in Las Vegas for 6 years, the wind is no joke sometimes. Especially when you hit around September-ish because that's when it's been dry as shit all summer. Have videos still of being at work and us having to close up and shut down because of dust storms and shit. Oh, and Freemont is always the place. Fuck the main strip lol
Awesome video. I thought Avril sounded great. Never listened to BMTH before the festival but I left a fan. This was my first and only festival ever and it'll be hard to go to any other festival after that experience. Love your message at the end I don't think I seen that in any other wwwy review video.
I live in Las Vegas, that Saturday was probably the second windiest day of the year so far. It was crazy windy. It really wasn’t safe to hold the event at least that day.
I had tickets for the first Saturday. Fortunately, I live in Las Vegas, and have a cool older sister that snatched new tickets. We went to the second Saturday since we were refunded. I had a great time. I had been working out for the past year preparing for the event, and all that was hurting by the end of the day were my feet which can’t be helped since I stood and walked on them for 14 hours LMFAO.

Make emo the safe space that Haley was talking about in her speech
yeah!! when mcr broke up i was like. 8 years old. my brain didnt work yet. im glad i found out about them now :)
@@jannananaa Ahh literally thank you so much!!! This means a lot, much love as well
Not welcoming young people is incredibly stupid.
I was supposed to be at that festival too!!! My Chem AND Phoebe Bridgers!!! What a sad festival loss.
SURELY they won’t have another one…”
And then they announced year two, with not only a bigger lineup, with blink-182 and Green Day headlining, but blink-182 with TOM DELONGE….. and I decided to shut up
Problem is Year Two was announced and sold before this one even happened. I was getting presale texts and offers for next year before I even saw how this year turned out.
Got tix anyway because if anything either refund from cancellation or just sell them if I don’t like the vibes.
12:16 the guy in front with the hat😂😂😂😂wtf!
The last sentence of this video spoke right to my soul. PLEASE bring back Warped Tour!
I don’t think that would be a good idea
@@Deenique16 I think it really depends on who's handling it. They managed to do it for as long as they did, but it's probably not ever going to be brought back, so I guess we'll never know 🤷🏻♂️
If I recall Frontline for Atilla bought it and for legal reasons have to wait some years to bring back warped tour.
@@andrewlucas3681 I hadn't heard about that. It'll be interesting to see what comes of it though
Ok so love the fact that Katy Perry welcomed the emo kids that's sweet, as an elder emo who also loved lady gaga and Katy Perry at the same time as my emo phase, that warms my inner child's heart
Katy perry was on the warped tour scene In 2008 just as she started gaining traction! Super sweet of her to recognize that part of her success as well with the little shout out❤
@@laurel_bee I love that even more!! That's such an awesome fact!
She literally dated Pete Wentz, she’s emo by association 😂
@@happyzombiikitti I never heard that before. I know she dated Travie McCoy. She used to do christian music in her early days and I remember her participating on a P.O.D song.
It’s been disheartening to get over the Saturday cancellation. My brother and I travelled from Panama, spent thousands of dollars to drive around in the wind watching other people be disappointed as well. We were fortunate and got to see BMTH, I ended with whiplash which is still funny to me. I’ve been looking forward to videos like this of Sunday, just to glimpse what I lost. Thanks for your perspective
As a Vegas local, let me tell you, the wind in the Valley is absolutely unforgiving. It absolutely tears up the city. Even damaged an overpass before
Being locked out of the Saturday tickets and having to get Sunday tickets turned to be a blessing in disguise. What an amazing festival. And the experience definitely cannot be replicated with next years lineup
Before WWWY, I was sad I got MCR tickets for Vegas a month before WWWY
After WWWY, I was glad that I got a good MCR set, didn't go bankrupt and didn't have anything cancelled on me.
"Emo Fyrefest"
And then we paid off the tickets.
It would be a dream of mine to play at a festival like this in the future
ughhh that looks so fun. the amount of money i’d spend to witness kellin and vic walking out for king for a day in real life.
this may be a pretty weird place to say something like this, but for personal reasons I was feeling kinda bittersweet about not being able to go Saturday like I had planned.
That's really nice to hear. I'm not a fan of much past their first album, but I'm happy they treat their fans well.
Wow, that last min was really touching. Thats exactly how I feel about emo music. It really did so much in shaping me into who I am today. Hayley's speech made me tear up.
absolutely nailed the point at the end. there was always a fuck ton of misogyny in the emo scene and it still lingers despite being “nonconformist” somehow there has been a stereotype created about punk/emo men being pedos. lol.
It’s almost likes depressed teenage boys aren’t gonna have the best outlook on things. Funny how that works, depression, it can change ya
Nice video!
OMG i have been checking for a new video every day… i cant wait for junior year to come out!!!
It was an amazing subculture for anyone who felt misunderstood.. specially for bipoc communities like us.
why am i crying at your closing monologue? thank you for the great video :3
I’ll forever love this community
appreciate this vid alot! im hopefully going this year as a birthday gift, trying to see what to expect!
Also, I'm glad to hear you're almost done with Junior Year video can't wait
Haley Williams is an icon! She did some special curated experiences at Bonnaroo a few years back that were magical. I was really sad for Armor for Sleep
I work building some of these stage’s. Every major event for these structures have a high wind action plans. Sucks but the weather doesn’t always permit things to happen. Rather it be canceled then endure a tragedy leading to a death.
Thank you for your work dude! Kinda lame that the organizers chose peak wind season to hold the event though.
ah yes, bmth crowd is always soooo rowdy, but everyone always takes care of each other, and oli is always so courteous of making sure the crowd is safe as much as he can. love that
My first time watching your channel. What a great video!! Thanks for sharing!
100% loved the video. Really well made and your commentary for the whole event was super agreeable
Very well done mate . Poignant ending 👏
Thank you!!!
I might have not been able to see the show but I felt like I was there! I enjoyed this greatly and hope to see more like this! 😊
Emo for life
the picture of Lemon Gerard in the thumbnail LMAO
Mate, I was in Arkansas when I read about the wind shutting down Saturday and I totally got it, because the wind was insane IN ARKANSAS. I could only imagine how it would be in a desert environment
This is an absolute amazing video. Thank you
I love this channel so much
Watching this to gain more insight for the Sick New World festival soon
This was a wonderful video, thank you
it's very sad because the proposal of the festival is very good because everyone who was emo knows all the bands that were part of the headline, they did a very good job in the choices and it could've been great
Almost cried 😭 it's just so emotional looking back on those young years where I listened to these bands to get me through the literal hell of growing up and being different. Rock on and I hope they have another one of these someday so I can attend.
Surprised you weren’t playing there lol love your music and great videos👍
Very well made video! Please continue making vids like these! Definitely brings me back to high school watching this, I wish I could have gone to this in hindsight
"I went to We Were Young Fest and you didn't get to."
They should do this again, people know now it can work. And also, we don't have Warped tour anymore which FEELS kinda like this(??? Idk anyway bc i'm from Argentina and went to neither. But it looked cool af i loved the lineup
i think tickets are already sold out for next year

“bring out the rapist!!” Fucking threw 😂😂😂
This was such a good video!
MCR & Paramore FORMED my early teenage years & I will be praying for P@TD & FOB for 2024 headliners 🙏🏼
Edit: We also went super skeptical about it being too good to be true & went with the mentality that if it did get cancelled or fall through, it was just gonna be 6 days of Halloween in Vegas. If you prepare for disappointment, you won’t be disappointed. But if there is no disappointment, you will be extremely pleased.
hey i dont know where to say this but dentonweaver is a GREAT song! it is one of the best new songs i have listened to by far
Really great thoughts at the end. Great video.
The Linda Linda’s are AMAZING
I was a Saturday person and my whole trip to Vegas was great other than then cancelation. Me and my GF stayed at the Excalibur as well! Freemont was dope and it def softened the blow but my GF was devastated 😭. We bought tickets for next year already and hope to have better luck. Maybe we will see you next year!
Paramore is so awesome. And I’m a full on metal head. I love their Farro era sound the most.
I was shocked that Avril did so well! Bring me the horizon was stunning and I'm so glad I got to see them live!
I live in Las Vegas, that Saturday was probably the second windiest day of the year so far. It was crazy windy. It really wasn’t safe to hold the event at least that day.
Dude I would’ve killed to go to this. My friend went and wanted to get me some merch but the line was like 3 hours long
I would absolutely die for hayley williams, an angel. Forever gutted i couldnt make it to the fest
This Is Why I have FOMO. How tf did I manage not to hear about this till now? Would've totally bought tickets.
such a good video nate, great stuff

Yo nate you forgot to mention mom jeans for the people who performed extra shows
I had tickets for Saturday. Got on stub hub the moment I heard it was canceled and got tickets to Sunday. Can confirm, it was insanely windy on Saturday
Cool video, I had GA for Saturday and VIP for Sunday luckily, VIP was definitely worth it was at the rail for Pink stage all day

This year WWWY brought me back to my HS. While next year's WWWY is like my childhood era since I'm a 90's guy.

I went to the side show w/ La dispute, the wonder years and mom Jeans best experience of my life, I got to meet the lead of La dispute and it was a super small dive bar, woke up the next day and went to the festival, amazing experience
Only the second show in 11 years where MCR didn't play Foundations of Decay? That song came out this year dog.
This is a really good video man!! 10/10 this needs to be seen by more people. Sub earned lol
Yeah that wind storm was so real we were stuck on an airplane going in circles for an hour bc Vegas was so congested with delayed flights 😮💨 but fuck it was so worth it. It was definitely a day to remember
Very well done video, Nate.
Only thing makes me feel older than I already do is not knowing most of these bands
Awesome video!! Thanks!!!
I was supposed to go see MCR at music midtown in ATL but it got cancelled due to some law abt conceal and carry that got passed in Georgia, potentially something that could’ve been a major threat to the safety of festival goers. It was really sad, but I’m glad to see their performances have been great
That was a very beautiful video! makes me appreciate humanity a little bit more :-)
Man i wish August is Falling came out to play, it would have been cool to see them almost 2 decades after they last played a show.
