Not quite sure I understand "Not Good Enough", I see quality work here, real scene from a real situation. Very good craftsmanship, thank you for posting.
Hi. 🙂 I was so shocked when I saw the opening scene of this movie. I decided to make that Omaha Beach diorama one day, it wasn't until over 20 years later. Thank you very much for watching !
@@graperun818, thank you for the explanation. I never watched Saving Private Ryan and I do not think I ever will even if it must a great movie. This is because I know I will be too emotionally affected by the initial scene of the landing. Your diorama tribute is very touching.
Where did you get all of those wounded soldiers. I’m trying to build a D-Day diorama too, and I’m struggling to find American casualties in 1/35. Where’d you get them. And what color did you use for the backpack and equipment.
Hi! 😄 All of those casualty figures are a combination of Tamiya and Dragon Injection Kit bodies. Sleeping-looking resin heads were available at the time. The uniform top and backpack colors are basically Tamya Enamel 'Buff; Collar and washed with brown oil paint. I hope you make a great D-Day Diorama. Thank you for watching!
Fantastic work. Your eye for detail is wonderful. I am in awe of your work. My one area for criticism is the color of the water. The Atlantic Ocean has more of a greenish tint to it. I look forward to seeing more of your outstanding works
Hi. 🙂 Your comment is correct. The color of sea is too bright. I painted a dark green oil paint over it, but it wasn't enough. Next time I make it again, I'll paint it darker. Thank you very much for watching video !
Yes the English channel is very dark and close to shore would've been more brown and red with blood from veterans accounts. Maybe some bullet holes melted into LCVP and someone going over the side as many did. Not knocking it tho as you've done an amazing job, im just a nitpicker, lol 🤣 Great job 👍👍
Hello. 🙂 I made killed figures separate combination of the existing product, Tamiya and Dragon. So I cut and pasted the body parts and filled the gap with putty. It was very interesting work. 🙂 Thank you very much for watching!
@@robertodellepiane2900 In this diorama, I purposely made it glow, especially for a wet feeling. I guess it wasn't appropriate. Thank you for the comments! 😊

Beautifully tragic story. Your diorama touched my heart.
In the movie, the soldier who fell on the beach and called for
his mother was Motiv.

That opening was depressing
This is a scene I really wanted to make after watching a movie a long time ago.
