Lol, I love mixing, maybe you guys want to be "beat factory" so ya'll make beats and I will make it sound great! I can mix the first one for free so ya'll see the value I can bring to ya
@Giannis Antetokounmpo damn, playing ball ain't cut it huh? 🤔😂😂 Sure, you can find my socials on UA-cam channel, I'm very active too, recently updated Linkedin doe 😉
Just us an EQ correctly for each track. Or at least use a spectrum analysis of some sort to make sure you don't have a bunch of weird information in there that is not needed or supporting the fundamentals itself. Then you can use some additive EQ later to firmly place elements in their home. I am a bit less experienced in additive EQ and tend to try and avoid it, so I am trying to use it more lately.
Don't get overwhelmed with notes and chords and that stuff at the beginning. Trust your ears and when you get that fuzzy feeling in your just, you did good. My simple advice to those just starting is turn the 808 way up and everything else down some. Start from there. Play it in your car because thats where we all listen to music. If it sounds good in your car , you just won a battle at Ft. Life.
i started on fl and use ableton now in days. But i like how u explain tips.keep it going. it helps even if im using another daw. cant wait to submit some of my musik and get ur feedback... much love Navie

I love the fact that there are many types of plugins that a lot of producers use, plugins that does most of the identification, if not all of it when it comes to beats and chords. Completely ignores this fact. Starts teaching beatmakers how to build fire with sticks and stones. I love it.
I understood and did all the stuff but the problem is, most of my 808 one shots come with note "C".For example when I put them to B3 it looses its effect and sounds not as its original.

Hmm, using DirectWave as the sampler? Does that offer any advantages? I know it messes with the channel volume for me and that's kind of weird. I know it does some automatic tuning for 808s, so there's that atleast.
@@k.o.d.b.productions4966 I checked and it isn't actually automatic. If you right click the zone and select find pitch root, then it will tune it. Drop down a few octaves though. After checking with a tuner plugin, it still seemed 9 cents off. So it's not as accurate as by hand. Not every 808 needs fine tuning though, most people don't worry about it. If it's a bad 808 it would be a lot off and would need special attention.
Helloo. I am a new comer to your subscription list .. And I enjoy watching your content.... i watch you video all the time without hitting the sub button ...you're very real and on point and aim to help the newcomers/beginner like myself... thanks for helping out....now i am asking if you could make a video for me About sound selection and sound layering..I'm having trouble in that area..after I put 2 -3 sounds together..i am lost. And don't know where to go from there...its not easy trying to make beats without musical knowledge..
Those markers are by no means necessarily to do if you are doing this. I more just wanted to include them so you can see visually where the melodic shifts are happening
No matter how many videos i watch telling me how to tune my 808s, they always sound like absolute shit. I genuinely don’t understand 808s and i cannot figure them out for the life of me
probably the best loop I've heard on these UA-cam videos by far... That shits fire just the loop alone where can I find or use this and make my own beat with it @Navie D
My three steps:
1- follow the chords
2- create a groove
3- ruin the entire thing when mixing
Same here 😶
mixing is always the hardest part bro :(

Very smart technique. The shifting of some of the 808s from the obvious rhythm timing of the melody loop really makes the beat more interesting.
the only channel i watcg because you actually show us step by step, havent learned this much from anyone else. thank you sir for sharing your secrets
Big Sully! You are welcome my friend
Bro unbelievably helpful. Wave candy is a game changer! I struggled with finding the cords of the loops I was using. Thx brother 🤙🏼

Thank you
I didn't even know wave candy could identify notes or chords 😲
Oh yeah, big key tool
@Redresseny I usually throw it on Edison and detect the pitch regions .. it shows which keys are being played on the sample/loop
@Redresseny no problem, its a stock plug-in for FL Studio.. also a great tool for chopping samples into loops
1:24 how you added these markers? What is the short key?
Great tips 👍

What did you press in FL to get the markers?
What are your settings for wave candy if you don’t mind sharing??
I think I mentioned what to do in terms of settings in the video I made about it. Check it out!

Sheeeeeet dude. All these months and I thought you were called Naive D. I always thought it was an odd choice. Just read it properly. Doh
Wow.. Wow.... I'm going to start using wave candy now. Just one question, how accurate do those markets have to be?

@@NavieD. All right, that's cool apologises for the late reply. Thanks once again.
How can I make my mix better, I try to take out low end but the muddy sound stays there. How to mix multiple melodies and blend them together.
Alternative to wave cany?
Lifts in the shoop?
Is WAV candy free for FL Studios 12?
Navie DEEE yessur
What a cute beat
u r a cutie ferg
i wanted to know if we can use 3rd or fifth note instead of the root note. e.g if the chords playing is A can i use C# which is the 3rd of the chord
Yeah, like I showed in the video, jumping around within the chord works
what’s that Loop🤔
No sample snitching allowed!

is wave candy a free to use thing?
It's a stock plugin for FL

Sounds like a Lil Skies type of beat
Or just know wich scale it is. Simple
Yeah this is more geared towards beginners. Sorry for the miscommunication
According to the thumbnail:
Step 1: Program bass notes
Step 2: Add passing notes
Step 3: Chop and E X P A N D to the 3rd dimension
