Nice video, it's good to see something in operation before buying. It looks like your safety flap in the hopper is upside down, when compared to others. It should touch the bottom of the hopper to reduce material kick back. Thanks for posting.
Nice machine Mike! Those pine needles are not funny! It does the same on my wood chunker! So I better run small amounts at a time followed by hardwood, so heavy chunks will clear the chute. Have a nice day!
Nice machine. I'll be making a video with my B2601 and Woodland Mills chipper soon! There's just something therapeutic about chipping limbs and brush. Maybe you can attach something permanent to the bottom of those skids? Hey did I see a Club Car DS there? :)
How's she goin'? That is a great looking chipper Mike and you will make good use of it I bet!!! Too bad about the shipping damage, but it will get marked up with use anyways. Making chips is a great use of scrap brush. They are great for landscaping, ground cover and trails. The tractor doesn't seem to be bogged down when chipping either and that has to make you feel good too!!! Take care!!
Great looking setup you have there! I was wondering if you shorted up the toplink on the 3 point hitch or moved it to one of the lower pin holes you might not have to add the blocks of wood under the chipper for it to sit level.
Good evening Sir, you have great tire on your tractor how do you like them ? That is a very nice implement for sure !!! Thank you for your review Sir !!! Still 4 inch is somethings !!! Keep up the good work !!! Cheers !!
Please don't walk in front of that exhaust chute while the machine is running! I have the same machine and have seen chips exit after being hung up inside for a while. A larger chip in the face is going to make your eyes water! I'm generally pleased with mine but they bind up so easily. Green material, especially smaller branches (twigs) are a nightmare. Good luck to you.
Question for you Mike -- do you wish that you would have bought a chipper with a mechanical or hydraulic feed instead of the gravity feed on your unit? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra money. Let me know your thoughts.
Have you tried chipping anything other than perfectly straight branches? These low cost chippers don’t have any feeding mechanism which makes me doubt if they can handle Y shaped stuff, etc. I have watched dozens of videos and all of them, just like you, show chipping previously prepared and sorted perfectly straight material.
Good stuff Michael! It will be very helpful for you over the summer to help clean up bush and limbs around the property. Thanks for sharing!
Great combo and video, thanks for posting!
Best review I've seen! Thank you!
Wow! Your tractor sure is clean!

Very nice review of the chipper. I hope you get many years of good service out of it. - Rick

I have a different chipper that functions the same and I replaced the nut on the cover with a hand sized wing nut so I don't need the crescent wrench

What makes you think the PTO shaft needs to be straight? It's not straight when you mow.

Maybe I am missing something but why would you pay $1800 to $2100 for a attachment that grinds limbs you can pile up and burn a lot easier.
