Your film of the location is beautiful you have such an eye for the material. The harbour and coastline are idyllic, the clear, teal colour of the sea uplifting. The historic buildings, atmosphere inspire me to learn about the town. Very good room it has a very intimate, bedroom feel that's comforting and Hallelujah a clean kettle for your hot bevvys lol. Good ensuite and food on offer. Lovely little outside space to relax (cute ginger tom 🐈) like the lemon tree. Wonderful price for a quality place, a good holiday to be had. Thank you Paul x
I mentioned I was inspired to learn about the historic buildings and I love towers! I learnt the tower is the Yivli Minaret Mosque completed 1230/1373 at a height of 38m. The Adhan (call to prayer) summons the faithful to prayer bearing some similarity to the way bells are rung out in a church. The prayer is called 5 times a day by the Muezzin who tours the balcony calling in four directions. Such dedication x
Yes I agree with everything you say and the call did happen several times per day which I found to just enforce the fact that I was visiting a magical country
Just my kind of hotel Paul. Thanks for showing it to us. I like the more quirky places with a bit of character and les hustle and bustle. Can't wait to see your next location Paul. 😀👍
Hi Paul, My sister and her family had two holiday homes in Turkey. They sold one of them, my sister said such lovely friendly ppl. Nice room was a little small for me. Quirky little place, the price was good also.
Thank you for the detail especially re the mobility aspects which are an issue for me. As an often single traveller it does get annoying when paying the same as for two people. I wish they would just deduct the cost of the food and bear. in mind also less not water is used perhaps a little more could bec deducted if single beds so less laundry. Perhaps £32 or even £35 would have seemed fairer in this case. But as you say still reasonably priced accommodation. Thanks for the detail which is pertinent without trying too hard to find fault where none really exists.
Um not sure about this hotel paul I like a mattress protector on the bed building work would put me off but it's clean the room you get wot you pay for tho
Looks a good hotel. I think all hotels cater to western pallets and especially in. the tourist resorts. So i do not genuinely think necessarily your fault Paul and again breakfast is breakfast and you genuinely do eat with your eyes and what is familiar to you it's habit.
Not for me sorry, that wailing is a no no, no youtube on tv, I'd have to bring me laptop lol Solo travelling can be lonely, just something I need, otherwise it's not a bad hotel. Thanks for sharing Paul x

The wailing is part of Turkish culture so we have to respect their culture when we visit these places
