Just seen this comment and maybe it’s the wine, time of night or part of the song that Jason is playing but it’s making me sob. Jason’s music is so important to me and has helped me through many a challenging time. Not to mention a constant source of inspiration. It’s so lovely to see such warm support from his family. Always loved the videos you made with Jason too.

I was at this show. I'm so glad it's available on UA-cam. Jason Lytle is a genius, an amazing musician. His music sort of invades me; I'm always trying to understand why.

Jason Lytle was always that sattelite. That Superstar, juggernaut of a person. Who among myself and my friends would always see as that far away planet that no one we knew would ever know or touch or feel. Yet through the music he was so adept at narrating. A song about a man, a car, a woman, a star... Perfectly. Dreaming...Endlessly into Eternity.

Note to future audiences: be quiet and let the performer be the focus. We know you know him and the words to the songs, but we would actually like to hear HIM, not your singing and your comments. That's why we bought tickets. Great show!
This isn't true of *every* show... If the performer has the lyrics on a screen and asks the audience to participate (like Jason did here), then you're just gatekeeping man.

I'm not a whooper, but you've gotta let people feel magic in the room and respond. Otherwise it's just a rehearsal.
