I'm stuck in MCO until my flight Wednesday morning and my face often has a similar look. Lots of people-watching to do and you don't always love what you see...
I do love her stance on identity. New York will be a time of self-discovery and experimentation for me. I look forward to trying new hair styles / aesthetics, going places I wouldn't usually go, hanging out with people I would usually spend time with, trying new (Jewish) food, etc. We don't have to pigeon-hole ourselves!
I like this still. The angle is privileged - you don't often get to see someone like this unless you're their close companion. The buildings in the background give a sense of her being small in the grand scheme of all that's happening. I'm sure NY's about to have that effect on me too.
