No scramble QB is sniffing my roster unless SPD/ACC/THP are 93/95/95. That’s it, that’s all you need. Hit those thresholds, and I pretty much guarantee they will have low cap, high dev.
@@AlachiAnayo That works too! I never recruit HBs … just convert deep threat WRs into OP backs. And after the last update, CBs are overpowered, too, and can fill out your secondary.
Great video, great explanation of everything. Personally, I never go after overall ratings or gems. I play a different style than most people, so I'm always just solely looking at specific attributes. For what it's worth, that helps me tons, as most of the players are recruit usually end up being pretty good. Like those diamonds in the rough.
I Do 3 Level High in Recruiting all except Kicker Bc I Go For 5 Star RBs lol All CEO Bottom Three Is A Must For Me But I'm Tryna Reload Not Rebuild Tactican Only Up To QB n WR And 2nd Level Max But I Run A High Power Offense Program Builder I Get The Bottom 2 Bc I Like Skill Caps Broken But, Yours Is Cool Too lol
Scouting properly matters after the update so much than before to find true talent. Since the update I’ve found a field general with 96 throw power, a 98 speed route runner, and a 102 speed deep threat (made sense atleast) but 100% all would have been guys I passed on before they were even scouted except the deep threat. Physical athlete receivers are still the most consistent 90+ overall players I have found though if you don’t have all the motivator type boosts. Something I’m noticing that’s interesting is almost always my improvisers by year 3-4 have insane deep accuracy compared to the others. Typically 90+ well before any other types when developing players.
I have an interesting one, I have a "Diamond in the Rough" by T4G ratings, but the game has them as a bust? He is a 4 Start ATH Scrambler. He is at the low/mid on most of the T4G ratings. Which one do I trust???

@@chriswhite3134 go to team roster (not depth chart). Pick the player, hit triangle or Y to view player card. Cycle the tabs until you see the attributes & caps.

This helps you find the players most likely to have good devs. There is no guarantee that their dev will be an impact or greater, but the likelihood is very high.

I will say I do find some value and awareness for the quarterbats, especially with a high awareness quarterback. They can give you alerts, and since the blitz is coming and also they unlock perks. That'd give you less of the shakes. When you are away games, so you can actually see what route you're running and all that other stuff, so I do think I do kind of look for awareness or high awareness quarterbacks. I agree. I don't think it matters as much in SIM. But when I do jump in to play the game, it does feel good to be able to see the blades. It does feel good to be a little bit more comfortable at a way game, especially when you're playing like Georgia or Alabama in the stadium. Got you seeing the wrong route.
Have the best tip possible for this. Just recruit *ANY* QB with the stats you want. Pay no attention to his size. Just his stats. Then after you get him on campus, go to view roster, view player card, more, edit player, appearance, physique, and edit his height and weight. You are welcome

Does doing so affect their performance? Like this athletic scrambler I signed I changed him to 6’5 240. Will this negatively affect him?

I stack motivator, talent dev, architect and fish for 3* gems and enjoy my 90+ every position by their junior(rs) season

How does one tell the difference between an “athletic scrambler” and regular “scrambler?”
The Athletic players will have "ATH" listed in place of their position. So instead of "QB", you'll see "ATH".
