It seems like a strap that was adjusted fairly short would help with some of the aspects you mention, like having to keep your legs together to hold it etc. Just put a strap on it and then it will be more like you are standing with it which should reduce some issues. Just my 2 cents.

True some issues will be solved but another problem would arise and it's the fact that when you play standing up the weight of the guitar is distributed more evenly, whereas sitting down all the weight of the instrument is on your left shoulder and after a short time it hurts. Even if you get used to the weight after two or three days you will have joint pain so I definitely like more other shapes from Jackson (like the Kelly I recently bought 😉)
No Cristiano, purtroppo dove vivo i pochi negozi di musica hanno solo modelli "classici" ed una volta trovata l'offerta online ne ho approfittato per avere nella collezione una Flying V style che non avevo mai avuto. Conta che prima di venderla ho provato a "farmela piacere" per mesi ma alla fine stava lì appesa a fare arredamento quindi ho pensato che la mia esperienza fosse utile anche per altri che non possono provare il modello il negozio e ne sono attirati.
I was about to get one to solve the problem of the right edge but the other most important problem for me remains, the lack of support on my chest. I'm so used to laying the guitar on me that having nothing is very weird and doesn't make me play relaxed
