My Father was a USAF Vietnam Veteran from Kentucky. He always had the "oldies" radio channel on in the car... WRKA and WAKY... in Louisville... he would keep the radio at a lower volume level, just loud enough to hear the music, but not distract from his driving... if a good song came on (meaning one he really liked...) he would turn it up from about a 2.5 normal level to about 5... (1-10)... the Beach Boys and Paul Revere & the Raiders always got turned up... but if a Ray Stevens song cam eon he not only turned it up, but kinda sang along in a lowered voice and had a big smile on his face and a laugh or two... he's been gone since 2007, and every single time I hear a Ray Stevens song, I do the same thing...
Great video. I'm enjoying what I learned. Interesting operation. I remember Ray on radio & TV back when he started. The video brought back some memories. Thanks.
My mom’s name was Ethel. She got a kick out of “don”t look Ethel.” I play golf with a relative of yours, his mother was Thelma Ragsdale, from Paulding County, Ga.
Mr Ray I believe that if there were any ratings on you as an entertainer for as good as you are I'd rate you up there along side Hank sr and Jerry Clower.
Always enjoyed your music
Hello Ray, how are you doing and what is the weather like?
What a class act and a very top notch show! I enjoy every clip I see of a performance!
Amazing this guy can still perform like he does even with PSTD from the squirrel attack
Quichenight thank you so much
These people are so lucky to earn Ray's respect, but you know they are an amazing work family if Ray chose them to work with him ❤
I DVR your television series every Saturday night. It's a fun-filled half hour.
