I struggle to believe vecna would even let himself be nerfed by the entity upon entering the realm 😭😭 unless he willingly let it happen? Maybe he wanted the realm to be a challenge

All that remains, however are old aging skeletons and pest eaten corpses. How dangerous is this creepy place. Layer 2: The Bard tries to lighten the mood of your journey. But with the overall dark atmosphere. It feels hard, or worse, the bard is only making this sound even scarier. As if its trying to awaken every beast and monster that lives in this place. Layer 3: The Bards Music has shrivelled your mind. You are being attacked left and right. But you fellow adventurer are useless against this swarm of danger. So you dropped your weapons and run. Spells left and right, traps activated and hell let loose, monsters directing at you and your fellow mates. Layer 4: You fallen into despair, with your last might, your try to outrun the danger that seeks you. Unfortunately, you and your team decided to stumble upon the worse Necromancer Alive. Vecna. The sheer terror of his quiet ensemble has ruined your ears from the sweet sound of music. Its gone, Your mates are dead, and you are the last one left. You do your best with your constitution to outrun this monstrosity.
I personally liked the screeching considering against Vecna you'll almost NEVER hear it for too long, nice stress value cus he has a lot of utility to find you

Actually, listning to it, its the same violin actually. They just chopped up the violin clip into 4thss for some reason. If u layer the ptb layer 3 with live layer 3, the violin clip is the same. Dont know why they decided to cut it up though

It all sounds great except... what the f*ck did they do to layer 3? LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! If y'all said the other themes sounded like "washing machines" then that part sounds like a damn monster truck starting its engine
Layer 1 - A Layer 2 - A Layer 3 - A+ Layer 4 - S In Ptb i had lower grade, but when i was listening it more then i start liking it, and well the 3 layer sounds has low of violin tone so it have kinda the feeling that something chaotic is behind you. And the chase layers gets also great grade because.... oh my god those violins in background are so creepy also in style how it changes... Really Awesome.

Layer 3 is good now but feels like it’s missing something. The change to chase is interesting, they made some sounds quieter and others more dominate, I like it more now

The first time i heard it, i couldint get a good grasp because the heartbeat covered the music. It sounded like a medieval remix of Clown's chase music to me. Hot take but i think the heartbeat should be removed so you can better hear terror radius music. They can sound really good sometimez!

Okay well I'm with the doubters and haters on this one, yeah this was a change for the worse. They just had to tune up piano a bit and that was it but we got this. It's alright tbh but the PTB version actually was better for once.

@@adeliechickI'm sure that the xenomorph in the dbd was more inspired by alien isolation than the films, not to mention that regardless of whether it is similar to the original films or not, this style of score nowadays is simply seen as a "generic horror film score " you can even test this by putting it on other killers, it suits everyone because there is nothing unique or different that really refers to the xenomorph
@@nathanalves3284 you have to keep in mind that the Alien collection IS based on the films, sure the dbd Nostromo Drone was inspired by Alien Isolation but as soon as Michel was informed of the collection (i.e the Xenomorph Queen, most important part of the collection) he had to remake the score to fit the entirety of the collection
Sounds like you gotta turn down your volume before you get tinnitus. There's not a single piece of music that overpowers the game's audio unless you're playing max volume
Layer 3 Sucked. It was literally another ghostface washing machine, I bet it even sounded worse in game, I admit what it is now is a little underwhelming but it’s leagues better than that washing machine in the PTB.
@@mr.8056 ghostface wasn't even that bad. All they needed to do was tone it down a bit and keep the same feel, but they completely changed the beat to something else entirely. That's what they did with this time's layer 3 again.

Don’t get the big fuss about tier 3??? It’s a downgrade but not that drastic of a change, it’s not like the Chucky situation where tier 4 was complete garbage compared to the amazing tier 3
I’m very happy they just changed layer 3 since that’s all that needed changing however unfortunately I don’t think this change improved it that much since it still feels very disconnected from the other 3 layers which was the main problem with it in the first place. However it does feel slightly more connected with the brass instruments sounding like the melody in layer 2 but overall it still doesn’t feel as connected as it should be imo. However I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a total downgrade since I still like that it has that shit your pants intense feeling to it like the old version. At least it won’t have the problem of it getting annoying since you don’t hear layer 3 that much as a survivor unless you are playing stealthily or something.

I like the change to layer 3, less screeching and more tactical vibes approaching. This chase music is a masterpiece, easily S tier horror value
