Yeah, I especially love how her swords don't have a consistent weight at all: They're as light or as heavy as the attack needs it to be, with no consistency whatsoever, which was done much better already toms of times in other games, even fromsoftware games.
@@Irelevant472 You are not getting the picture. Light and strong attacks still have the same weight, she's just deliberately putting more power into an attack at the cost of it taking longer. However, the way she acts with certain moves give the impression that the swords are heavy, but on another attack, she will just swing them around as if they're nothing. Look at pontiff Sulyvahn. He has one massive, and one average sword. Every attack with the smaller sword is quicker but less damaging, he is capable of poking with it due to the light nature of it. Meanwhile, the profane greatsword always needs to be swung, and it's attacks are way slower. Pontiff is strong enough to hold one in each hand, but each sword has a consistent weight and Power. Even his delayed overhead keeps the same weight while being a "Strong" attack, due to the fact that he holds it over his head effortlessly. The boss animations in Elden ring are deliberately designed to be clunky and shittily inconsistent because there is no other way to make these games, with their extremely shallow combat, any harder than the peaks of Ds3.
