You put in a requirement to have the physical credit card I booked with at the check in desk. I'm in a foreign country and the card is at home I never travel with it as I use the details to book things online. Now you say you'll refuse board because of a requirement placed after I booked the ticket. How does this not reflect terribly on your customer care? And you've shut down ways for your customers to contact you.

Etihad I'm afraid your customer service is letting you down. I (and many others) have been trying to get in touch for a very long time. Also I note that your refund policy changes daily. We have a flight scheduled for Sat to UAE and therefore cant get a visa. Credit is no good as we will not be flying before the end of the year. Your policy as of 2 days ago clearly DID state that if the authorities prevented us from completing our journey we would be entitled to a full refund without penalty. Can someone confirm please?

Great to see your team spraying & wipe down internally in aircraft / however it is very noticeable that they do not turn over, nor clean the clothes being used? " No mention that after one area cleaned these clothes are disposed" ? it would be better the staff use COLOUR Coded Clothes to dry off different areas 1: like passenger 2: seats head rests.3: tables & trays 4:All wall panels 5 : most of all toilet area & 6: the toilet seats ??.

Hi David ,
ICAO recommends to use Single-Use wipes for High Touch point surfaces ( eg tray table , passenger seat , lavatory and galley areas ) thereby eliminating cross contamination and enhancing Cabin Hygiene .
Reusable cloths reduces the efficacy of disinfectant used on surfaces .
The wipes used by Etihad are Engineered nonwoven wipes which eliminates lint and have high solvent resistance while using chemicals and disinfectants .
All wipes used for disinfecting aircraft cabin including gloves needs to be disposed inside biohazard bags to ensure environmental safety and eliminating cross contamination .

I was traveling to Islamabad from Toronto on March 20th and brought my ticket for 1625 dollars - but because of coronavirus had to cancel my ticket and got only 1175 dollars in return from Etihad. I lost 450 dollars on the cancelation and am so disappointed- I will never fly on Eithad any more .
