Knight, you’ve done it! If you told me a year ago I’d be involved in something like this, I’d’ve laughed. But if you told me you would do it, I wouldn’t have doubted you for a second. Your creativity astonishes me, and I’m so glad you’re getting some recognition for it. It’s amazing to see how far you’ve come already, and I look forward to seeing where you head next! Thanks for inviting me along for the ride! I look forward to seeing what everyone else thinks when they get to see the full project you’ve been working on for so long. See you at the premiere!
I've listened through this album at least 20 times at this point, and I just relaized that half way through prometheus just before the second chourous starts you can hear the theme to the lyrics "All is fair in love in war just so long as you know what youre fighting for You can cry and plead but you're all alone, this blood and bone this fire harderned heart of stone." (More specifically at 6:26) Absolutely pheonominal work knight, I found your channel through this album and I have to say, this is just an amazing Album that I can't get enough of. There's so much thought put into it and I can't get enough of it.
(I was a bit late to say this elsewhere but I started watching and began to cry...) Dear Technoblade, The war is over and we have finally shed our tears some tears still fall and many still come to my eyes. The memories you created will remain here and we will make sure.... that the Legend of the Blade never dies. Thank you Sincerely, Your Fans
YOU REDID EVERY SONG. EVEN FREAKING CONNOR LORE. Keep me Alive upgrade. This is happiest day. Thank you. (Also, the ending song with Technoblade is so depressing with his death as well.) Loved how you incorporated every song into the closing.
Yeah Mango and I wrote the last one back in March, but after what happened, I wasn’t sure if I was even gonna put the last song in the album or out at all
@@KnightofEndale I think it works fine. It's a great closer for the album, it leaves a depressing end note, but that is the honest end of this chapter. The Hero and Prometheus are gone. Agamemnon is free. A sad ending to this arc and maybe the whole SMP, but one hell of a journey!

Along with Prometheus and My Turn to Rise, I wanted to say Haunted was also in my top 3, if only because of the irl memories I now associate with it. But This Tragedy of Mine is beautiful, haunting, and painful. It ties together the album perfectly; you begin with a revamped version of You Dreamed a Dream, which foreshadows a tale of tragedy and humanity---that of the DSMP. You softened My Turn to Rise and lifted Prometheus, which added a layer to the characters whose tales you told---that of hope. And I especially love the sass you gave Conor in Wrong Place Wrong Time. All in all, this is a wonderful creation. I'm proud of you for having done it. And I'm crying a little right now, remembering this tale from beginning to end through your music. Well done, Knight
"This tragedy of mine" est merveilleuse. Quand j'ai compris de qui la chanson parlait, j'ai commencé à pleurer. Et quand j'ai lu le chat en direct, j'ai pleuré encore plus. Et la ligne "Isn't the Mentor supposed to die ?" m'a achevée. Il me manque toujours. Mais c'est comme ça qu'une légende ne meurt pas.

I feel like you can sympathize for most of the dsmp characters. Dream wanted peace but when tommy came on he started wars. Tommy after a while also just wanted peace and his music but dream took them. Wilbur wanted to raise a country and be a good dad but it fell from the election and he went insane. Tubbo wanted to have a nice time with ranboo and his son, never haveing to worry about betrayal. Technoblade didnt want anymore violence and didnt want a country corrupting the server again cause from the countries he keeps getting betrayed by them. Philza didnt want anyone to get hurt anymore and sided with technoblade so no more wars could happen. These are what I at least think they all wanted from the songs in this and the list doesn't stop here theres so many other characters that did something bad because it was good in their eyes to keep stuff at peace and to keep what they loved protected but since they never saw eye to eye it only got worse because of it.
This is incredible. I is baffling at how much inspiration that minecraft series has given to people. How many stories, songs and artwork there are. Musicians like you especially amaze me. The creativity, skill and time you put into making a whole album! Astounding 🤩
Was feeling gross and put this on, it made me feel so much better! Thank you, seriously! I would've been miserable for so long without this.. Prometheus, You Dreamed A Dream, Beloved, Heart of Stone, and Haunted have been the most grounding songs so far ^~^ Closing my eyes and just singing as focused as I can on the words instead of my stomach pain is really helping me recover faster!
@Knight of Endale thanks! I can definitely say this continues to be true, I was mostly just sleepy today, and this made it so much easier to get stuff done ^~^

Congrats on this, you deserve every bit of kudos and love heading your way!!
Now onto the analysis!!! I simply CANNOT BELIEVE you re-recorded EVERY. SINGLE. SONG FOR THIS. I’m in shambles it sounds so freaking good 🤩 do my ears deceive me or did you get a better mic, cuz my ears are blessed by this album The bit of heart of stone you added to Prometheus was so so sooo cool to pick up on. And the chorus of voices at the end of Prometheus 🥲 my hearttttt AND BURNING PAGES IS SUCH A BOP 😳🥵😮💨 WHO TF GAVE YOU THE RIGHT. At first thought it might be a niki song, but I absolutely love that dream gets a reprise after ydad, and the hints to his prison lore and his dudududu and his crazed cackle when he makes the ydad pun I’m screaming at all of it. Plus all the references to ydad, Prometheus, mttr, and the fact that it reads like lyrical poetry 🤩🤩🤩 simply amazing And the updated instrumental for the kma bridge, omg I love it so much!! Somehow it fits so well with the somber tone of quackity’s newest lore, even though you probably updated it before the lore came out. Legendary Idk what you did but there’s a little something extra in haunted that adds some pizzazz to the chorus, and lemme tell ya I’m a huge fan. Plus the simplification of the layered lyrics to focus on ranboo’s perspective is fantastic. Loving this new take on haunted 😍 OH MY GOD IN THE END IS ANOTHER DREAM REPRISEEEAKSHDKDJKD AND ITS SO FREAKING GOOD. How the heck is every single one such a banger 🤔🤔 every time you quote ydad or I hear that dudududu or some part reminds me of the original ydad I get so excited. And the reference to hos plays into the lore of dream drawing parallels between himself and sam and aaagghh it’s amazing!! And ending with techno’s reflection on the whole affair seems so fitting, plus the beginning gives "do it again" vibes from the wtow album which is always a win. I’ve never seen a representation of techno lore quite like it but good god, holy smokes, it’s powerful. The way it incorporates the rest of the songs like a closing overture brings such a sense of completion to the whole album. And now having him question the statements he made so confidently in Prometheus is just- ugh. Phenomenal. (And as a side note: the voices literally being called the chorus is freaking amazing 🤩) But the final ending being a triumphant return to Prometheus is honestly so emotional. Major maaajor kudos for the ending, I’m genuinely floored Needless to say this is going on the iTunes playlist. Hearing all these songs refurbished and updated has reignited something in me and it’s not gonna burn out any time soon
Thank you so much, aliased_aryl! Yeah I re-recorded every song *because* of the new mic ☺️ I really wanted to improve the quality of the older songs since now I have the means to. The new Dream songs were so fun to pack with references, and I was hoping people would pick up on them :) Mango and I have been sitting on This Tragedy of Mine since early March when we first wrote it. Circumstances ended up making it way more emotional for me to record, but I’m really happy I was able to include it here as a finale for this project.
@@KnightofEndale on the subject of updated versions of the songs, are you planning to upload them as individual videos to your channel? I’d like to add them to a playlist, but if not I’ll just add the album vid :)
Listening to A Castle on a Cloud hit hard today. I travel the county for work leaving my family and friends behind and those lyrics synced up with my vibe making me homesick something bad. Thank you to who ever wrote that piece for making me feel so strong, it makes talking to my loved ones more meaningful. ❤
I found this channel through your woe to the people of order cover. then I found prometheus and fell in love with it. then i heard there was a remastered version which brought me here. then i decided to listen to the rest of the songs. I don't even care much for the dream smp, but every song here is flippin amazing! from what i do know about the lore, all the greek mythology references are on point and surprisingly fitting, the lyric writing in general is extremely well done, and really conveys a story. this album absolutely killed it. insane to think this is all just from a minecraft smp xD
AH IT'S HERE!! I loved your new songs - Burning Pages, In the End, and This Tragedy of Mine. I gathered that In the End and This Tragedy of Mine are about Dream and Techno, but what about Burning Pages? Because I got the feeling that's also Dream. 🙂 And I just love Prometheus and Beloved and You Dreamed a Dream and all the other songs. Those three I mentioned are my favorites (because Techno, Tubbo and Dream are my favorites), but I just love all your songs. 💖
I found this album a week ago, but now was the first time I properly listened to the lyrics of This Tragedy of Mine, That was one hell of a punch in the feels
I noticed that in Prometheus and This Tragedy of Mine that it says crows, eagles, and ravens, but in the story of Prometheus it's vultures that torture him. I'm not complaining though, they are still really good songs, I love the Greek references in all the songs though
It actually is an eagle that tortures Prometheus. It’s meant to be a reminder to Prometheus that his punishment is a result of his defiance of Zeus, as the eagle is Zeus’s bird and one of his primary symbols. The ravens and crows references is meant to tie in Philza, who is often associated with corvids (especially crows), to the story of Prometheus, even though that’s not the original bird in the Greek myth.
It’s so cool hearing you rework your earliest songs! Because Prometheus was my first introduction to your music it was awesome to hear your new take on it. And oh my gosh Burning Pages?!?! I could not stop jumping around, that blew me away!! That shot straight up to my favorites from you. The lyrics are so intricate and your vocals are ridiculous. I also really like the reworked instrumentals on Keep Me Alive at the end bits, they do so much for it. The more ethereal callback to Prometheus and the softer, slower tone as it builds up in strength in Haunted is masterful, I absolutely love what you did with it. The way You Dreamed a Dream was worked into The End gave me legitimate chills, it flows so smoothly. This Tragedy of Mine broke my heart, it’s so beautiful. I am a sucker for the callbacks to other characters (and by extension the Greek myths connected to them) and this song was chalk full of them. The softness works so well and it’s just a beautiful piece. “I gave you a home then they took you away” about Ranboo was so good and I was not expecting it at all, it’s such a simple yet effective twist on the original line. This album was absolutely worth the wait, the motifs and mythological comparisons make me so happy and it’s been a joy to watch so many of these come out. Edit: and Prometheus playing over the ending credits?! It feels like I just watched a movie, it’s awesome
Hey, I just want to say that I've been listening to your music for a couple weeks now and I just discovered the video version of it! I found This Tragedy of Mine on iTunes months ago and have been obsessed with it for a while, then realized a little bit ago that there was a whole album attached! After listening to it on iTunes a couple times I decided to search it up on UA-cam to listen to it while writing one night, and this was perfect! I didn't watch the video, just clicked play and switched over to my writing tab. It's only just now, days later, that I'm glancing at the description to see Psalms 115:1 at the bottom. It took me by surprise even though I had of course noticed biblical references in your music, and I just wanted to say how amazing that is! I love that verse so much, and it's incredible to see something like that in this community!! Thank you so much for your work, as I said I am OBSESSED with This Tragedy of Mine, and I'm getting to love some of your other songs as well! This album is incredible, God bless you!
Just remembered i never actually fed the algorithm my comment here, so better nate than lever, right? anyway, FANTASTIC WORK! THIS IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM OUT OF ALL like… 4? 5? that have come from this community (because theres like this, blackstone walls and beyond (Precious Jewel Amor), Within the obsidian walls (Precious Jewel amor), and like 2 from derivakat that i dont think are named) so yeah like 5 (maybe 6 if i missed one from amanda fagan)
This is sooo good. The orchestral prometheus is really cool. Idk which one i prefer; I’m nostalgic for the original but this one is amazing, i love the heart of stone part in it! Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the album!
This album inspire me to write a fanfic I've been thinking about for a while. A sort of semi SI as Naruto who falls in love with Haku and tries to use somgs from his past life he memorized to change the story for the better. Precipice is the perfect theme for the bridge battle between Zabuza and Haku, and Team 7.
Knight of Endale, you should get together with SAD-ist and make an animatic, you do the music with your people, and SAD-ist makes the animation for you two to put together. I that'd be awesome
Man, this sounded absolutely amazingly awesome! I can't wait for it to release on spotify so I can constantly listen to it XD You both did an absolutely amazing job on making this! (In Soldier's words, You both deserve a medal!)
The transcript: "cry because your judgement day has a break" "today's the day that baby falls" "here that this day would come tonight" "they tried in maine to contain my fire" "don't throw me fears can you hear me scream bring me yeah" "tried to build their Tower higher but their Babble fellas" "can you hear me scream bring me up" "the police" "there and loving more but where are the battles from"
Aaa Knight im so excited to see how the album turned out!! I haven't been here since the beginning, but I've been here since Babel Has Fallen really kicked off and seeing your growth as a musician and a creator has been utterly incredible! I wish you luck in all future endeavours :)
Man listening to all these songs over, ya outdid yourself! I cannot wait to jam out to these songs on spotify. My turn to rise is by far a personal favorite but well I kinda listened to it a lot after I got out of a bad slump
holy SHIT its a crime your not popular! you match derivakat in both quantity and quality! how in the HOLY FUCK do you not have a million subs!?!?!??!>?!
This is incredible! Listening to all of the songs together makes the connection obvious! You did an amazing job, I love all the songs, but especially the last two since I hadn't heard them before! Love your work.
OHHOHOHOHOHO I ABSOLUTELY CANT WAIT FOR THIS MASTERPIECE TO COME OUT!!! I'm sure it will sound abso-flippin-lutely amazing when it does! Especially when it comes to past works that have been made on your channel!
Oh, wow wow WOW! This album was amazing I love how you remade all of these songs and I really hope you eventually put the two final songs "In the End," and "This Tragedy of Mine" out as solo videos so I can listen to them on loop they are so good, though my favourite is probably still My Turn to Rise.
Epic. In every sense of the word. Each piece, appreciated unto itself is amazing, but hearing them together, the parts united, is. . . overwhelming. You captured the living beating heart of the DSMP story, rendered its essence and distilled the shimmering blood into intoxicating, glorious fractions that consumed together, combine via sublime poetic musical alchemy into a true Epic. Masterful.
I really, really like your songs. I've listened to most of them, and I think that This Tragedy of Mine is my favorite. Thank you for making these wonderful songs.
I really hope they'll be on SoundCloud honestly (even though there's no link spot-) because that's my current main to listen to music on because of the few add and all
As much as I absolutely adore this, I do think Prometheus (which is probably my favorite DSMP song) was a bit better in its original cover, so if it's possible could you release the old versions on Spotify and stuff when you can? I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks this... unless I am in which that's fun... I think it's the more abundant echo and simpler orchestra that does it for me. (edit so the journalism student in me doesn't have to look at an orphan)
YOOO THIS IS AMAZING!! Any way to listen to songs individually any time soon? I'm assuming that would be at least when the songs get released on other platforms eventually haha
Dude, this is incredible! Are there any plans to get this available for purchase? Or will you be uploading new videos for each song, perhaps? I'd love to have them individually and I'd happily pay for that. Certainly got the quality. (Edit: Actually finished the video, have my answers. Cannot wait. :) Also cannot wait to figure out who every single mythological reference is.)
Alright, yeah, I'm stuck. Most of them are obvious, because they were named in assorted songs, but I can't quite figure out Hector and Phrixus. Hector I at least have one idea for - Fundy - but... the son of Jason and Medea, saved by the Golden Ram (along with his sister, who isn't referenced here)? I don't know. Might I have a hint of some sort?

I don't even care much for the dream smp, but every song here is flippin amazing! from what i do know about the lore, all the greek mythology references are on point and surprisingly fitting, the lyric writing in general is extremely well done, and really conveys a story. this album absolutely killed it. insane to think this is all just from a minecraft smp xD
Congratulations on your first ever album! Can't wait for the other albums!
e for the algorithim gods
but this album fr the best stuff i've heard for a while

AH IT'S HERE!! I loved your new songs - Burning Pages, In the End, and This Tragedy of Mine. I gathered that In the End and This Tragedy of Mine are about Dream and Techno, but what about Burning Pages? Because I got the feeling that's also Dream. 🙂 And I just love Prometheus and Beloved and You Dreamed a Dream and all the other songs. Those three I mentioned are my favorites (because Techno, Tubbo and Dream are my favorites), but I just love all your songs. 💖
"ive got the power of death" makes burning pages dream
I found this album a week ago, but now was the first time I properly listened to the lyrics of This Tragedy of Mine,
That was one hell of a punch in the feels
Apollo would be proud!
for a second in the credits I thoght you would say "and to veiwers like you, thank you" you know like those pbs kids shows
I thought about doing that XD
Glorious…
This really deserves more attention this is the best
I love how you re-did all the songs they sound so good!! This Tragedy of Mine and In the End are now my new favorite songs.
Just remembered i never actually fed the algorithm my comment here, so better nate than lever, right? anyway, FANTASTIC WORK! THIS IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM OUT OF ALL like… 4? 5? that have come from this community
(because theres like this, blackstone walls and beyond (Precious Jewel Amor), Within the obsidian walls (Precious Jewel amor), and like 2 from derivakat that i dont think are named) so yeah like 5 (maybe 6 if i missed one from amanda fagan)
yeah, its 5, had to double check
LETS GOOOOO SHOUT OUT!!!! LETS GOOO KOE DISCORD!!!!!!
Loved all the songs! specially the first and 14th one.
I am going to imagine So many animatics for Beloved /pos
This is so good! I can't believe that this is so underrated
This is sooo good. The orchestral prometheus is really cool. Idk which one i prefer; I’m nostalgic for the original but this one is amazing, i love the heart of stone part in it! Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the album!
I really like your album! I've been use it as my bg music while working for like a moth now. never bored of it !!!
This video deserves more view's than it has.
This is actually a masterpiece and ive heard 10 zeconds
There are so many freaky references i need a breakdown please
I've waited for this for so many months! I'm so hyped!
This goes so hard that it’s a crime that this video doesn’t have at least 100,000 views
You never fail to outdo yourself. I can tell you poured your heart into this album. It absolutely slaps
Alright "This tragedy of mine" hit to hard. I heard this during my break now how do I explain my red teary eyes to my coworkers? XD
You did so well, I can't believe how far you've come!
Knight of Endale, you should get together with SAD-ist and make an animatic, you do the music with your people, and SAD-ist makes the animation for you two to put together. I that'd be awesome
Honestly, that would be a dream come true, but I think she’s a little out of my league 😅
Amazing work as usual! I really enjoyed hearing all of your song in an album and I'm exited to see what you'll do next!
Thank you for the amazing album. And the verse at the end. It really helps encourage me with my own projects. May God bless your ministry
Man, this sounded absolutely amazingly awesome!
I can't wait for it to release on spotify so I can constantly listen to it XD
You both did an absolutely amazing job on making this!
(In Soldier's words, You both deserve a medal!)
The transcript:

"today's the day that baby falls"

"there and loving more but where are the battles from"
Aaa Knight im so excited to see how the album turned out!!
Whooo!!! You did so well! Love the new songs and i hope you continue to make more good music!
This is incredible! Listening to all of the songs together makes the connection obvious! You did an amazing job, I love all the songs, but especially the last two since I hadn't heard them before! Love your work.
I am just in complete and utter awe of this in every way
OHHOHOHOHOHO I ABSOLUTELY CANT WAIT FOR THIS MASTERPIECE TO COME OUT!!!
I'm sure it will sound abso-flippin-lutely amazing when it does!
Especially when it comes to past works that have been made on your channel!
This was both awesome and amazing! Beautiful lyrics!
you're songs are so awesome!!!
Thank you! And yes, the new songs will be uploaded as singles on the channel soon :)
@@KnightofEndale *High pitched squeals.* Ahem, that's super, cool, nice. Can't wait to see them!
IT’S HERE, IT’S FINALLY HEREEE
So many lovely songs! i like all of them, feels good that this album released
Masterful.
I love this do much, thank you for all the content! Also love Prometheus.
Your songs and music are incredible!
I CAN'T WAIT!!!
I absolutly love this! Deserves much more attention! Will you be adding the album to Spotity too? I'd really love to listen to it on daily basis
Yep she's planning to, the link will appear in the description when she does
It’s processing through to Spotify right now. Should be available soon!
Sad thing is I relate to some of these songs on a very deep level
HELL YEAH! FIRST ALBUM! GREAT WORK K.O.E!
I’m downloading this playlist with Premium, it is amazing!
I really, really like your songs. I've listened to most of them, and I think that This Tragedy of Mine is my favorite. Thank you for making these wonderful songs.
Glorious!
This is so beautiful :)
After watching this I finally realized that Quackity is Icarus
Why you do this to me it too good

I really hope they'll be on SoundCloud honestly (even though there's no link spot-) because that's my current main to listen to music on because of the few add and all
So excited!!!!
Hyped!
So good, I listened to it twice in a day 😂 will probably revisit tomorrow. Love it ❤ ✝️ 😊
The beat for the first song kind of reminds me of the song In The End
Almost like it was intentional… 👀
In Love ❤😍 🥰 😈✊🏼🔥 is all I can say.
Any chance you could post these individually? I wanna put songs in my playlist but i dont want them all in one block.
They’re all posted individually under the playlist titled “Babel has fallen” on my channel. Hope this helps!
you should make a goodbye song for the DSMP cause it recently ended :(
i can't believe how underrated this is, seriously it's so goddamn sick
Thanks! Yes, they will be available as singles here on UA-cam soon!
@@KnightofEndale Hellyeee >:D
Love the arabic in the beginning
It’s biblical Hebrew, actually :)
Technoblade never dies!!
U should make this into an mc music disc txt pack
Technically most of the songs are in timeline order
