I just bought one just like this today for $20 I had to take the carb apart gave it a cleaning and had to change the oil but it runs just fine! Thinking the belt might be a bit to small the tines still spin in the neutral position. I’ve tried adjusting the bar but wasn’t enough..
@@corydunaway you have any info on yours like model numbers? I found a picture online of a catalog for mtd tillers. And I believe mine is the 5hp (255) vertical shaft. I want to restore it but need too find the engine model as well to see if I can parts if needed
Probably in an equipment forum, someone should have the manual posted,. this has the cone drive inside it, I think a belt and a cone setup to create reverse

Hell, They Should have just told You All of Their Serial #'s and Model #'s and Came Right On Out and Said That They Had One EXACTLY Like It, That was Stolen!!! Quit beating around the Damn Bush!!!???
You need the air filter screw in for this choke style carburetor to run correctly

Bought a 5hp one today for $25. Needed oil change and carb cleaned or swapped
