I see a lot of negative comments about karaoke, and though im listening to this and other vics to get my timing down with drums to cover this I hope you realize that when music is made it becomes a part of culture and is shared, not coveted. I may not like Karaoke, but I can respect those that wish they could play music but can only sing along to this kind of stuff.
This song is great, it is also a good karaoke production, but there are many mistakes in the lyrics. Some of these are probably cultural, because what you might hear might not sound familiar to a non-Brit. Example "the man in the mac said" should be the correct phrase. As I am writing I cannot recall what was written, but it wasn't that. The mac is short for the Macintosh, which means a raincoat, taken from a popular brand in Britain sometime in the past. I hope you don't mind this constructive criticism.
Some glaring errors in the lyrics here! Firstly, it's "Standing in the dock at Southampton" not "Standing in the dockets of hampton" Secondly "Made a lightning trip to Vienna", not, as you would have it "Feel a lightning trip to Vienna" Finally, John and Yoko "Caught the early plane back to London", and not the early train!
Harsh, but not untrue. Unfortunately usually for the wrong reason. If you hate her for her total lack of talent, imagination, ingenuity then you have a solid case, she has none of that, never had. OTOH, If you hate her because you believe she "broke up the Beatles", you have that all wrong. If there is any one cause of the Beatles breakup it was the death of Brian Epstein. Epstein kept the Beatles together way beyond what they otherwise would have lasted. Too bad, too, but you cant hang that one on talentless Yoko NoNo.

It's "the Mac" (don't know spelling American here) not "the mask"
Mac is spelled the same way here, as in "Macintosh".
Works good as an instrumental. But some of the lyrics are way off.
Its a dock in southhampton..and the man in the mac...as in mackintosh..a waterproof coat here in the u.k
