2007 Nissan Altima: I have 0 experience with cars other than start it and go and I’ve done a few oil changes myself. I removed and “installed” the cabin air filter without taking off the glove compartment. Took about 5 minutes to rip it out (lol) then 10 minutes to fish back into the hole. The air flow arrow on the filter goes toward the rear of the car.
If it smells bad you definitely want to replace it. That filter the air you are breathing. And sometimes rodents will get in there and make a nest and if anything gets into the blower motor it can cause it to fail which will lead to no air at all for heat or AC.
Make sure that AUTOZONE doesn't stiff you $9 for the filter. They are cheap, cheap, cheap and save Thousands on the a/c!! Regular a/c replacement could be as high as $2000
That was really shocking that its not changed from under the hood. Thanks for the demo and the towel tip!! May the LORD bless y'all and keep you! 😄🙏
Chrisfix should make a video on this. It'd be lit

Still trying to figure out why occasionally, you'd hear helicopter rotor chop. Radar at O'Reilly's would say incoming! lol
My filter literally took a minute because Honda doesn’t add all these screws or clips if you just want to remove it on a Civic
Arrows up or down?
Arrows generally down; as the filter states, its the air flow direction.
