@@vegaslimoguy2376 Chez Quis is not a real restaurant. The restaurant in the movie was clearly supposed to be the Chez Paul, which was a real, world famous at the time, ultra fancy Chicago restaurant. I understand it wasn’t actually filmed there.
I can't remember how many times I watched the Blues Brothers back in the early 1980s, while wearing out the VHS tapes, and never made the connection of Pee Wee Herman in 1986!
This movie was released in Australia in 1980 , I saw it then and laughed my arse off, I'm 72 and still laughing my arse off, that's how funny this movie was hilarious.
I remember in NYC, i just met some guys an hour before, we got along so great we decided to get some food, they picked the hard rock, they saw the line outside and decided to skip it, i followed them inside and they spot a small bar table. We sit ourselves and the waiter bc if the rush, did a double take then just decided to take our order we were in and out in 30 minutes. Best time i had woth strangers
The clip really needed to start about a minute earlier, “No sir. Mayor Daily no longer dines here. He’s dead, sir.”
Start with the park job pulling up to the restaurant!
@mullet75 makes me bust up laughing everytime. Haha. Especially when the valet opens the door for him. 😂
It's Daley...but yeah!
@@toAdmiller He's dead, sir.

I saw the Blues Brothers in concert in 1981 at the long beach arena. They opened up for Steve Martin.
Best concert ever!
The Dom Perignon at $120 back then would be $578.00 today.
And still not worth it
Yeah thanks to Joe Biden
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day of the week. 😂
Pee wee Herman, waiting tables before his big break!
Dan Aykroyd acted with so many iconic actors in his life.
And so many ridiculously overrated ones to like his grotesque co strar in this
That little girls reaction 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The part were he tosses Jake the shrimp like a dog us gold!!!
Some friend. “Oh no, i thought it was 5 years. It wasn’t 5 years?” HA!! 😂
He definitely wasn't happy to see them.
@@waynemacfarland1546 No, he wasn't. Ha. That's what made that line so funny.

I agree. It's right up there with 'Blazing Saddles'. 😁👍
paul reubens is one of the waiters of the restaurant.
I only just noticed that now, despite having seen the movie a ton of times.
😂
"How much for the women? The little girl, your daughters....sell them to me!"
Only John Belushi! 😂😂😂😂
🤮
Pee Wee Herman was the one who was serving the champagne and the man saying they smell bad is Gerald McRaney.
The father was Ben Piazza
"How much for the little girl?" The first time I heard this I almost choked on my popcorn.
One of the top ten films ever made.
Very persuasive. And hilariously funny.
I didn't remember Pee Wee was in this! 😂🤣 Even better! 😂
Belushi was a master of humor of expression. Just watch his mouth and face as Elwood tosses the shrimp into his mouth. Pure ironic comedy. 😂
He was extremely overrated and gross! How anyone could watch him without getting sick is crazy, 🤮
Wrong glass, sir 😂
I always do that move that Elwood does when I want another drink
Hahaha
His face when the guy says “wrong glass, sir.” 🤣🤣🤣 2:50
Love it!!!! The best movie!!!! Aretha was so excellent!!! 👏👏👏.. 😅😅😅.. 🤣🤣🤣....

one of the absolute greatest scenes in the Blues Brothers movie
The soup is $10.00? Sounds like a bargain these days!
$10 for soup in 1980 is crazy. That would be like $40 in 2024?
But you still get bread and crackers, at least?

Classic Peewee Herman.😂
How the prices have changed.
Copied from Trinity is still my name
Feels like they borrowed this scene a little from "Trinity is still my Name". Obviously it's not a 1:1, but the idea.
Look at the maître d's hand on the table in the intro.
That's NOT 4k by any stretch of the imagination!
I never realized Paul Ruben (Pee Wee Herman) was in this movie.
the little girl how much??
Gustapo though to be fun I think
His brother
Pee Wee 😂👍
He definitely wasn't happy to see them.
They probably owed him money. They owed everyone else in the band money. 🤣
