I’ve been watching your videos for the past few days as I’m about to go for a QA analyst interview in 30 minutes and I see this lmao
Hahaha oh no! Like I said though, it really is a great career for lots of people! I don't regret it one bit, I learned so much 😊
I hope your interview went well!!
How did it go?
Please let us know is it an entry role that you went to school for?
Hello how did it go?
The feeling you had about going from QA into Psychology is a very similar feeling I had about going from Teaching to QA. Have to do what is best for you!
(This is actually how I found your channel and decided to go into QA actually. So Thank you!) Best of luck in your next season.
Was there a course or some preparatory material that you used to study and prepare yourself for the interview process? Any recommendations would be much appreciated! I'm also a former teacher looking for a career change.
Hello from France ! I became a QA tester because of your videos and found a job. So thanks you for your videos 🙏
Ah that makes me so happy!! I hope you're loving the job 😊
@prescillia can you show me the path and courses that you have followed pls
Please can we connect. I need advice as I'm trying to figure how to get into the industry as well.
Wow that is fantastic.
I'm happy you're entering a new chapter in life. Since you felt stagnant with the last job. You'll make an excellent therapist. I hope working part time and classes go smoothly. I look forward to seeing how you navigate through life with these new changes and I hope you find fulfillment in your work and studies.
Thanks Sal 😊 Lots of big changes, but I'm excited for this next chapter of life!
Just wanted to wish you lots of luck on your new journey! I started following for QA and fitness content but I’ve stuck around because I love your energy!
I work in engineering and we actually have someone who is QA at my company who’s also a therapist as well. If you so happen to have the itch to test things, and also love your new practice, i think there is always a possibility you can do both.
Either way, so excited for your new journey! Can’t wait for all your future vlogs!
Thank you so much Josielyn!💛😊 That's a good point, it would be cool to get to use parts of what I've learned as a qa and as a teacher in my next career! Also I'm glad you liked the fitness content, I've been wanting to start making some more fitness focused videos again 🤩
I appreciate you!!
Yayyy so excited for you!!! Totally resonate with that drained feeling from sitting at your desk all day😭 excited for you to move away from that and into something that brings you fulfillment❤️
Also I still can’t get over how similar our couches look😂 and our tattoos😂
We're basically the same person 😂 Thank you Paige!! I'm so excited for all the changes 😊
@@MadelineElaineYT literally though😂😂

Glad to see you using that protein/pre-workout recipe! I still use it every day 😄
Yessss I'm so glad you told me about it!! I can't imagine not using it now 😂
Just recently started a new QA position for a new company. Deff took it very easy those last few weeks
Fantastic.
Hi Madeline! I am a new subscriber from the Philippines and today is my first day as a software QA engineer. Your 5 tips for manual QA video got me to subscribe. I still wasn't able to finish all of your vlogs hahaha
Welcome to the QA Family!!!!!!! Wish you all the very best Mary 😊👍 Hope you are doing well
Yay, best of luck!! I hope you love it 😊
Great!
Your leaving QA. I just started to follow because I was interested in your QA videos. Nice videos. Good luck in your new adventure.
Awe, thank you friend!😊
I just discovered your videos I was thinking about going to a QA boot camp . I work in childcare I’ve been at the same center for 6 years so I can kind of relate to what you were saying about teaching in your other video. I just turned 40 and I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do lol 😂
hehe,,,you are not the only one....i'm also 32, i'm a nurse for the moment...but I would do something else but dont know exactly what to choose :) it is a very frustrting feeling :D
@@laviniadiana4270 Heyy career neighbor, I'm a caregiver and I'm trying to make a career change. I'm 27 and I hope to begin the process of transitioning out of Healthcare. But, I don't know anyone to network with. I mean have a family member that worked in IT in the 90s but things have obviously changed since then. The workforce us diverse now.
We are 2.
i know how it is. I also dont have /know anyone who works in IT or as a QA engineer. so, we’ll have to extend our networking and to do some IT classes 😁 Good luck in your future career changes
@@laviniadiana4270 some companies provide on the job training for manual testing though. This is an entry level role so it is definitely possible to either be accepted through an apprenticeship or regular paid training
Hi, Elaine Just wanna ask what is the tools that i neeed to learn expect Jira as a manuel tester
Best of luck on your new adventure!
Thank you Sarah!😊
Best luck to your new journey. I just found your video though. Not many company provide training for QA so is it possible to share which company you worked for? I had a background in IT and looking to go back to it. Been looking for a company that open-minded and willing to give opportunity for a career change like yourself 😊
Hey madeleine please make a video on how to make cv for QA freshers and how to find job easily as tester what point we mentione in resume
i need too
@@ritubhatia1418 hey 👋 where do you leave?
Wow, the blonde suits you so well 😍
Hey Madeline, where did you get your QA training?
Hi Mike!
She mentioned in prior videos she didn't need any certifications, I don't think she even got a class on udemy or anything like that, but did recommend a skillshare one.
@@imanitrecruiterineurope4142 Okay, thank you so much, and do you know which video she mentioned all this in?
@@imanitrecruiterineurope4142 that is so crazy because I've told people what my goals are and they've told me companies don't do training programs. They bring people on with credentials and experience. But I've heard similar stories of people being hired by companies with no training since they are non engineers
@@Erinspeedy it depends greatly on where you are and whom you're talking to. Most companies in a pinch or without budgets will be fine with training people, but most big names only want the cream of the crop of internships or people with experience
@@imanitrecruiterineurope4142 can you name some of these company's websites?? Because again, I had a conversation with a former professional who worked in IT and they told me that they have never heard of companies/organizations bringing on someone with NO educational background or experience in this, and then training them to do the job. The person I spoke with said in short that this is the case because this is a "highly" technical role. You can't just learn this on the job.
I have no hard evidence to prove this person wrong. They never heard of someone being brought on with no experience or IT knowledge.
I live in the US by the way.
What are u doin now?
Whyy
Why quit your job
Do they have more positions open , I can send you my email
