The health system itself is sick.
That is the crude capitalism of the USA
But loads of cash to fund wars just not treat American citizen tax payers
I was begging for help in January w uterus pain and never diagnosed until April and started treatment in may. The medical system is broken. The delays are outrageous. I have decent insurance and just trying to get scans, initial appointments etc was a horrific waiting game. Its stage 4 aggressive and nobody wanted to take it seriously. The system is broken.

Cancer treatment sucks. I just finished chemo and radiation myself. I have Bileduct cancer and it is apparently hard to beat. It has taken everything out of me. I hope that Shannen can beat this horrible disease.

I lost a brother to cancer.
I heard a scientist say that there will never be a universal cure for all cancers.
But there might be a cancer for this cancer, or that cancer, so there is more chance finding a cure for one or two of them than all of them together.

That infuriates me to know end, I am so sorry, you should have been treated anyway, I know that it would be expensive without insurance, however your health is damn more important than money, that could have been delt with at a later date ! Doctors would be out of business. I think they can treat Cancer without such invasive things that takes a toll on the body and mind. This is heartbreaking.

Remission is not a cure though I think it’s packaged that way. I also believe that women are often ignored by their doctors as what happened to my mother. You have to be your own advocate and if you’re not comfortable or have issues that are serious like cancer for example then you must find a doctor who listens and is on top of screenings, testing etc. My Mom was a lot older than Shannen and despite the cancer she did live a long life with the last few months were horrible but she had relatively little wrong with her for years. I do believe my mother’s former doctor did not stress the importance of screenings and she had failing kidneys and he had waited to refer her to a specialist. The reality is she trusted him which was my mother’s downfall. He just looked at her like she was old and annoying. If your doctor treats you like that you need to do research and get another one. Your life literally depends on it🙏🏻✌🏻
The healthcare system in the USA is quite perplexing! In Australia, we benefit from free Breast Screening every two years, unrelated to Health Insurance. I find it puzzling why Shannon relied on her manager for health insurance instead of taking care of it herself; that seems imprudent. I've had Health Insurance since I was 17 (now 52) without any problems. Shannon shouldn't solely blame her management; she should have been monitoring her health regularly, like most people do. Early detection through self-checks could have allowed her to address her cancer sooner.

I was in fourth grade when Beverly Hills 90210 came out. Shannon Dorothy played such a good role in that show And I wanted her to be my wife. Oh Brenda how I loved you on the show! I'm sorry this cancer has gotten to her and I'll pray That all goes well.
With Cancer you can't predict what's it's going to do unfortunately even with treatment cancer it may come back

First of all, it's awful to see someone so young, no matter who they are, being given a short time at life. Next, I remember that I was an extra working at the hit TV series Beverly Hills 90210. I was an extra several times, and remember the leading cast well. We, as extras, were not allowed to talk to the so called "stars" or engage in any type of conversation with any of them. We were told to stay away, and separate, and mind our own business. Even the food that we were served was nothing compared to the leading cast. Anyway, not to be hateful, or disrespectful to Shannen, but I remember clearly how arrogant, and cynical Shannen Doherty was. She always acted like she was walking on water, and that everyone else was beneath her. She complained about many things that really could have been easily fixed, or they were not a big deal. I remember clearly that one time during a scene that was supposedly done in Paris, France. The car in this scene started to just slowly roll in a straight line, just very slowly, not even 1 mile per hour, because the driver forgot to set the breaks by accident, but immediately the driver jumped back and set the breaks. Now, I would be afraid too, and call for help, but not behave the way she did. This issue was highly exaggerated by Shannen and she walked off the scene and acted like her life was almost taken away from her. They had to babysit her,...etc., until she was satisfied with all the worship before she did the retake. It was so childish and immature the way she always behaved when issues came up and she had to be worshipped while the issue was corrected. She just was waiting for something to go wrong, no matter how trivial, so that she can get all the attention. She always had a very bad reputation for being very difficult to work with ever since she became famous early on. That is why after Beverly Hills 90210 she got mediocre rolls or couldn't land anything that was worth doing for a very long time. I haven't followed her career very much for many years, so it seems that she has matured and she is realizing, perhaps due to her unfortunate illness, that she is not God's gift to mankind, that she is just as human as we are. So, why am I sharing this story with you all? The lesson here is that, no matter who we are, no matter what religion, what race or gender, that we should never think of ourselves better than anyone else, and treat all those who are not fortunate as we are like manure, because we are famous and have more money that most. We all bleed red, and I'll go even much further by saying that those of who are famous and very wealthy should never think that the world is their oyster. Charity, kindness, helping those who are in need,...etc., regardless of who you are is far better and it's the ultimate currency. Even the Holy Bible says... "...A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. 2 Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all. Proverbs 22:1-2. We all have our shortcomings and mistakes, hopefully the Lord will give us a chance to improve our behavior and humble ourselves and do what is moral and right, even if it's unpleasant for our sakes. Yes, despite being very beautiful and talented as a young actress, Shannen later became more famous for her frequent attitudes of haughtiness.
However, this topic - or her health - is completely unrelated to that.
According to this video, she was unable to receive treatment earlier because her management company had missed one her insurance payments in 2014 which led her to skip some medical appointments in that same year.
Maybe that was where the problem started, and maybe there is more to it.
Anyway, I don't think that because she's in this predicament, she should now be blamed for her social behaviours, all regarding her career and relationships with staff and fans.
These are two completely different matters.

You as the extra are hired to be professional actors as extras. You are not fans brought on to bother the main actors and take them out of character. If you don't like being hired like that - either take lessons to be hired as a main or avoid it. The management, producers, studios, directors etc all contributed to letting all these main actors feel like super stars.
Setting that aside, your supposed to be a Christian and all you're doing is bitching about the woman's PAST. I'm sure you're not without sin, right? Take your preaching and shove it.
