Fun Fact: The police lights coming on was a malfunction with that car but they decided to keep it in because they felt like it was something Roman(Tyrese) would’ve done anyway
My personal favorite of the franchise. It just had that sweet balance of being grounded, while also being completely absurd. Definitely injected new life into the franchise, as it was the first of many things: 1. First one to consciously move away from street racing as a primary back-drop/theme. I always loved that they cut away from the race that earned them new cars, because this many years/movies in, you know they can score those no problem; the focus is on the heist... 2. First one to feature the Rock who, at the time, was starting to re-emerge as an action star. and 3. This was the first one to pull an "Avengers" (a year before that movie came out by the way), and bring in all of the previously unrelated characters from the first 4 movies, and put them into a single story. There really was a certain thrill seeing guys like Tyrese & Luda from "2 Fast", come in & meet guys like Dom and Han from "Tokyo Drift". Lore-Building in "Fast & Furious". Who knew? And yeah, the action was stepped up BIG TIME. With CG being relatively minimal, and practical effects/stuntwork being employed, it definitely felt unique in that despite the crazy shit going on, it was grounded by the fact that what you were looking at was real stunt choreography. The Letty reveal was huge at the time, especially with it coming from the Eva Mendes cameo, no less. When you go back and watch "Fast 4", they never explicitly show Letty dying, or see her body. You just kinda see Dom "figuring out" what's happened to her, and how he imagined her "murder" went down. But we never actually saw it. So they definitely had an out in terms of bringing her back. This really was a true "Fast & Furious" reunion. Still love this movie to this day. Great reaction!
The two cars at 1:04:56 are called the Koenigsegg CCXR. They are currently estimated to be worth between 2.3 and 4.8 million dollars. It is a Swedish car manufacturer.
No one is going to touch the money that Dom gives to his dead friend's family. They all know who his uncle is, so they'll probably think twice before they even touch that money.
The way they made the safe move is a combo. When it is moving around hitting stuff is just a empty safe but when it is just moving behind them is a someone in a go kart inside the safe kinda controlling it that why it moves so smooth
Apparently, both The Rock and Vin Diesel have in their contracts they both cannot lose a movie fight or at least cannot go down easily. I heard many of the big male movie stars have this same thing in their own contracts too. I think I heard Jason Statham also has that deal. I'm betting by now, somebody probably already let you guys know this. But, The Rock and Vin Diesel were friends at this point. It was not until The Fate and The Furious that they had a huge beef with each other and literally had their scenes filmed separately. The Rock was the one who made their feud public and accused Vin Diesel (at the time, he did not name any names until much later) of basically being lazy and having a vastly different work ethic than The Rock. Keep in mind The Fate and The Furious was the first F&F movie without Paul Walker after he died during the filming of the last F&F movie and Diesel and Walker were very close and he mourned Walker's death hard and I think at that time Diesel did not even know if he could finished filming part 7 out of such mourning over Walker. I think the whole thing between The Rock & Vin Diesel got blown out of proportion, fueled by The Rock himself and the media. But, Diesel made things even worse by publicly saying Diesel was using some tactics to get the best acting out of The Rock, which sounded very weird to me. So, it does seem IMO both of them are at fault in their own ways. The Rock did later apologize publicly, not to Vin Diesel but apologized for posting his emotions online in such a dramatic way. But, there does seem to be some anecdotal confirmation Vin Diesel does tend to act like a diva. But then again, there is also some anecdotal confirmation The Rock acts like a bit of a diva too on set. Tyrese got mad at The Rock for agreeing to star in his own spin-off, Hobbes and Shaw.
There is a short documentary on the stunts performed for this movie, Brian hanging off of the truck and the cars dragging the vault scene didnt use cgi they really had a several thousand pound vault crashing into stuff and filmed it in real life. Its my favorite practical stunt in all of film.
This was when rock earned the moniker of Franchise Viagra...you just put him in a movie and it saves the franchise. This was also a turning point in his from career because literally after this he leaned more into the big popcorn blockbuster action route
that female police officer with Rock team, was Elsa Pataky also known real life Mrs. THOR =:D true Rock proberly wanted arrest him first, but Reyes butchered his team soo...
One of my fondest high school memories was watching this movie in auto shop class whenever my uncle didn’t feel like teaching. This or Transformers. :)
With Han that's a true story, he worked with the director on a different movie and he smoked a few packs a day, so for him to stop smoking the director told him to snack on things instead ,so he brought it along in the fast and the furious movies
Іnteresting fact: when they filmed the theft of cars on the train, they used fake cars. The creators made the bodies of the necessary cars and put them on other cars (I apologize in advance for my bad English, I am from Ukraine)
Dwayne was fed up with Vin always editing the script to his favor and changing lines. In all fairness, I'd have been a bit miffed myself. But that's what led to the whole falling out.
You guys really need to watch "Better Luck Tomorrow" a 2002 film. It has Han in his early years where he was still a smoker. So essentially a prequel to the Fast/Furious films
I’m friends with Parry Shen (the main character in that movie). He may or may not have hinted that the characters in thst movie will get a cameo in one of the two upcoming “final” fast and furious movies
I had to laugh when you were discussing what interest account they should’ve put their millions in….cause thieves usually put their stolen cash in the bank😂😂.
23:27 Only five cops (well trained or not) walking up the favela and the thugs letting them pass, this would never happen in real life. But it is a funny scene. And I love this movie, it's one of my favorites in the franchise. FYI: from now on forget the laws of physics 😂
@@honeyFoxx420 he doesn’t tower him. If he isn’t a head taller than him than that’s not towering He looks about 2-3 inches taller. Which make the Rock around 6’3 6’4 like i said
Fast Five is definitely the best Fast movie, but the sixth one is my favorite and I’ll tell y’all why in that video. I love this movie for uniting all the characters we loved in previous movies. Four gave us our core, but five gave us the best of everything. Love this movie. I often forget how great it is. I was so disappointed in the theater when they gave Dom a new love interest, but that end credit scene had me so excited and hyped.
😂Guys. They can shoot scenes in a way to make characters look taller or smaller. Tom Cruise has made a whole career out of it. Vin is only 5 11 225lbs but would look crazy and out matched on camera next to 6 5 275lbs Rock. #moviemagic 😂 .
I was gonna say I got all these in 4K. Another reason 6' is my favorite of the franchise. Can't wait to watch more with you guys. This was very exciting 💫🤩
Fact: every face to face shot of Vin And Dewayne "The Rock" Vin was standing on a 5 inch high step to match Rocks height, because it looked stupid when Rock's character was looking down on the big bad toughest protagonist in cinema history per Vin Diesel, Mr. Dom Torretto!
Dwayne and Vin had some feud at first but their okay now. Tyrese Gibson has appt of issues with Dwayne, not only continuing the Fast franchise, but the stand alone film he did with Jason Statham.. only reason why Tyrese isn't too happy about it is because 2, 3 and 4 is when everyone started coming in and worked their hardest to prove they can be a part of the franchise and it worked but Dwayne came in during Five and people started getting more and more hype for Dwayne.. a little more than the others. That's not the only reason but one of the reasons why Tyrese wasn't the biggest fan of it after Furious 6..
Elsa Pataky the chic who plays the mexican cop has a starring role in a movie called Intercepter and it's badass you guys should definitely check it out
Just dropped in to comment since you're watching (or have watched) my favorite of the Fast and Furious franchise. In the discussion of these movies being grounded vs going to space, I'd suggest that this one was the last of the really grounded films. The next one is kind of grounded but still has moments where you wonder how people are walking away with minimal injuries. I still think it's fun, but I typically drop out of the series after 6. Anyways, the story of this one is definitely a long shot from the originals with the fam on the run in Rio, but I just felt like the script, the comedy, and a lot of the emotional moments really hit and do an amazing job of calling back to all the previous movies in the franchise. In my opinion, this should've been the finale. The fact that the core cast enjoys making these movies together makes me pretty much forgive all the over the top stuff now. It's just not why I love the franchise.

The soundtrack for this movie is god tier. This franchise makes most people roll their eyes but when you’re in it it’s an amazing ride.
This was the last decent one, it should’ve been the final movie, it had the perfect ending. The eye rolling starts after this one.
After this movie is where they fucked it up trying to turn it into an 'avengers' franchise.

this is Honda NSX.... today it is a rare and expensive car
1:05:15 - Thats a Koenigsegg CCXR, its from Sweden.
They don’t need psychics they just need family
53:27 “Damn…Fast and Furious got me? What the heck…”
Just wait till y’all watch the upcoming movies 🤐
This was my introduction into the fast and furious movie franchise, I loved the movie 🔥.
Rip Paul Walker ❤
Elsa Pataky that plays the female agent is married to Chris Hemsworth (Thor)
Tyrese and Ludacris end up with matching Koenigsegg CCXRs and Han and drives away in a Lexus LFA
If you're wondering the vault was a stunt car also Jason Momoa character appears on the bridge
The way they made the safe move is a combo.
When it is moving around hitting stuff is just a empty safe but when it is just moving behind them is a someone in a go kart inside the safe kinda controlling it that why it moves so smooth
@the 41.09 mark, you can see Vin Diesel standing on blocks just to be eye to eye with the Rock.
Letty is in fast 6 you will find out why she's alive you will be shocked Soo stay tuned now I'm ready for fast 6 keep this party going
The super cars Roman and Tej have were the Koenigsegg CCXR’s. The last car a Lexus LFA V10.
1:13:22 "Jane was so cute, she caught JV on sneak humming that theme in 😂 So funny 😂
The car got fixed by leti after she went back home...also the Spanish guys are Puerto rican rappers, most of the movies sound tracks are sang by them
Y'alls reaction to Letty had me dying. The timing was perfect

The female cop in this is married to Chris Hemsworth they have such a lovely family

Fast five was the best in series kn my opinion
Hilarious! Hearing how well spoken this guy is, and switches to gangsta slang when the shooting started and yells "Shotty's". That got me. 😅
The cars that Tej and Roman got is the 2010 Koenigsegg CCXR
This was when rock earned the moniker of Franchise Viagra...you just put him in a movie and it saves the franchise. This was also a turning point in his from career because literally after this he leaned more into the big popcorn blockbuster action route

The rock is really around 6'2-6'3, He was billed at 6'5 by wwe, they always add 2-3 inches
I say about 6'2 look at him next to boxer Anthony Joshua who is 6'6 and towers the rock lol
"Money is hard to carry around.. It's so heavy.. There's so much of it.."
**cut to 5min later 😆🤣
The two cars at end are koenssigs roughly 3-5 million dollar cars
The car that Roman and Tej have at the end is a Koenigsegg CCXR.
The cars at the end with Roman and Tej are Koenigsegg
Why does she keep calling Justin's name lolol what is he going to do jump though the TV lol
57:03 wow, spread open 😂
I'm a simple man, I watch a Jane yell Justin!, I comment Justin!
@43:48 'cause it's Roman 😂
Roman and Tej met in 2fast 2furious

I've watched this with some my most best friends and family and celeb. This feels good to see again.
LMAO Jane's reaction to the bus crash at the start is sets the tone so we'll. So many innocent Brazilians died during this movie.
Fun Fact: when they made this movie, they then made a sh!t load of money from said movie 😂💰🚘

The 2 cars were Koenigsegg CCX
I think Vin Diesel is like 5’11 and Rock is 6’4. They shot it in a certain angle so they looked about the same height
Young rock was 6'4 he's not now
Vin actually stood on a 5 inch tall step on every face to face shot with Dewayne.
The rock is about 6'2 look at him next to professional boxer Anthony Joshua who's 6'6 and towers the rock
@@honeyFoxx420 he doesn’t tower him. If he isn’t a head taller than him than that’s not towering He looks about 2-3 inches taller. Which make the Rock around 6’3 6’4 like i said

Ya Fr, I always for some reason liked six more than five because it seemed to include more driving aspects but still had the energy five had
That after credits scene, that's when I learned people ain't dead until you see their body.
Even that doesn't matter. Han burned to death in a car explosion, and they've retconned that scene twice now with him ultimately surviving.
@doughbafett you never know what can happen when your not being recorded.
Fast 5 is the best one.
It's great listening to JV he's chill and enjoys how cool everything is. I'm like that too. JV is fun.
The next one, Furious 6, is the top one for me.
My favorite one as well. The longest runway in the world lol.
Same 👍🏼

Fast 5 is the best in the franchise.
13 total films after May 20th, 10 films, 1 spin-off, 2 mini movies
'6 '7 and 5 are my absolute favorites. Watching these are completely awesome. I've been waiting for this 🤩
I love your guys reactions ❤
Save your tears for F&F 7. Btw, the upcoming Fast 10 is connected to Fast 5 story wise.
Good morning
For me this one is the best part, then it's became unrealistic superhero movie
This is one of my favorite movie reaction channels love seeing both of you react ✌🏽💯
Yay! The best installment is here

I might be exaggerating by saying it only gets better but that's just my opinion👍👍
It does 😊👍🏼

if Vince death got you then just wait till ending 6th and 7th
hobbs killed 3 guys in under 10 secs, and we are supposed to believe dom could beat him?
anyone can kill 3 people in under 10 seconds if they can operate a firearm....
My Dad had pretty much the same Reaction when He first watched this; his eyes literally bugged out when they showed us that picture of Letty!! 😲 (LOL)
This is the point in the franchise where the movies go from being just car racing movies to being heist movies
Fun fact: Ja rule was supposed to replace Luda but ja rule said nah
Yesss , thanks ❤

The judge who sentenced him was just a prick.
“Vince is dead” 😂
This is where the franchise gets good.. with the exception of Tokyo Drift of course lol
Arguably the best one
Fun film, tho I wish after 7 it ended the franchise as no Paul no series to me.
