This is the only franchise I can think that drastically changed it's vibe, cast, and settings in it's first 3 movies yet despite how drastically different all 3 films are from each other, they all manage to be entertaining.
All the drifting in this movie is real! It was done by Rhys Millen and Tanner Foust and Keiichi Tsuchiya! The old man on the docks fishing is actually Keiichi Tsuchiya who is also the real life drift king!
Actually airbags were developed in the 70’s and 80’s and Volvo was the leader of that creation. They made the patents free to use for other automakers to benefit from. The first airbag came out in 1987, in a Volvo. The US government mandated airbags in cars in the 90’s.

The NOS bottles on the motorcycle are just there as a stylistic choice for fuel tanks. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if it also had NOS in it as well.
Han has a backstory movie that's really great called Better Luck Tomorrow. It's not an official Fast movie but the Han in that movie is the same exact person as Han in these movies. The director Justin Lin made his debut with Better Luck Tomorrow and decided Han didn't get his dues, so he made him join Tokyo Drift

So the thing wirh dim showing up was actually a contract clause, he was contracted to be in all the films after this since production changed after 2 but was filming other projects during this so they gave him a cameo to keep in his contract to be able to keep filming, if he didn't do Tokyo drift then he would have been dropped
Airbags, are typically removed from drag and drift cars. Both of these expirence minor hit/bumps/viberations. That can set air bags off prematurely. Also typically aftermarket belts, wheels, cages are safer then airbags to begin with.
Han is the best character from the entire Fast and Furious franchise. He should've gotten the main character spot in this movie or even another spin off. But Hollywood hates strong male Asian protagonists

Is Tokyo Drift the best in the franchise? 👀
🤔Maybe Not the Best one over-all, but it always holds a Special Place in My Heart!💝
It's a lot of people's guilty pleasure. Also, if you want a side quest, Han's origin can be seen in the 2002 movie "Better Luck Tomorrow".
@@PhilipManzano it’s my favorite
Fast 5 definitely is.
It’s very hard to choose between the first one, Tokyo Drift and Fast Five, those are thee fan favorites

It's pretty amazing that they were able to do that.
the guy in the blue coat that is fishing 36:48 was the real DK during that time. dont know if he still is.
thats Kid Rock singing Bawitdaba during the race at the beginning

It does not have an airbag because it is assumed that it has a racing steering wheel and therefore does not have an airbag

Oh wow. I wonder how the franchise would have looked like with Brian there.
@ more grounded later on in the franchise i think

Another W reaction 💯 🔥
That was not NOS on that bike. They repurposed NOS tanks for the bike’s gas tank.
Wow, Y'all didn't waste any time in getting to this one next!👍Now that Dom is Back, "The Fast Saga" can really Begin!👌
Nah, not til 5. 4 sucked
This is my fav fast movie
Better Luck Tomorrow , is a movie that gives han origin story , it helps to watch before fast 4

So if they're using kpm, then that is 115 mph. Could you imagine cops in American not chasing past that? Haha.
love this movie one of my favorites in the franchise before Fast and Furious 4 and Fast 5 and 6
