That was many hours and miles for you to find that buck. Kudos for the diligence and grinding. The guy who shot it was not the "hunter." In my opinion you are the hunter, he was just the shooter.
Another great video Robbie, and one super buck, I really enjoy the scenery of the rock bluffs and canyons, there are several nice bucks in this video for future hunts, providing they survive the lion. thanks for sharing this footage...........from Mo.
So may be a complete long shot, but I was curious if this is in 21 a or 21 b? Me and my daughter drew this unit and have put in some miles and I was hoping you might be willing to share a little of your wisdom to help out a novice hunter. I know your a guide so id be willing to talk price. Mostly wanting to fill my daughter's tag. Thanks in advance
Been waiting on some new videos from the past season, so am rewatching old ones of yours Robbie, i hope you leave out the tunes on your new ones, i like your style of sneakin around and still-hunting, hope all is well with you Robbie..............
Best video of 2022!!! At 27:27 was that a bull bugling in the back ground? At 31:00 he looks like an absolute TANK, the pics do not give this buck his due the video shows how big he really is! RT you the man , love your videos but this right here might be the best ever NM mule deer video ever shared!! Hats off to you Ben and John for your efforts in finding the hammers! Couple more days and you may have the auction locked up in your camp again, well done amigo.
Wow, 3 guys looking over hundreds of bucks for the trigger man. That says something about just how rare, and secretive giant mulie bucks are. Please, were you in/around Cabresto Canyon? Great to see you find an impressive, typical shed; a little bonus for all your hard work.
Outstanding buck, great find! No ground shrinkage here. Do you remember what his scoreable width was? I always like to see if my field judging is any good ;)
@Paul Taylor: I'm replying only to educate not to argue or offend you, but... Just because something is legal in one state but not another doesn't mean it's cheating. For example, in Arizona, it is legal to hunt with scopes on muzzleloaders. In New Mexico, it is now illegal. It would be foolish to say Arizona hunters are cheating if they shoot game with a muzzleloader that has a scope. Would you agree? Another example is in Maine it is illegal to hunt on Sundays, so is it cheating if you were to hunt on a Sunday in AZ? In Colorado, you can draw out muzzleloader Elk in early September, in New Mexico, September is restricted to bow only, It would be unintelligent to say that Colorado is cheating. There are about 10 states that only allow shotgun for hunting deer, no rifles. Im sure you have hunted with a rifle for deer, right? I don't understand what it is you are trying to achieve with this comment. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't that law only take effect just this past year in January 2022? So, are you calling all your Arizona hunting community that used a trail camera prior to this law cheaters? Be respectful, friend.
Everyone has cameras. People can't hunt successfully without cameras. So now, the mountains are full of cameras. Cameras, Cameras, Cameras. . . Totally dependent on Cameras.
This is from the official New Mexico Hunting Rules and Info Proclamation page 21, section; It is unlawful to: "Shine spotlights or other artificial lights into areas where big-game species or livestock may be present, while in possession of any sporting arm"
@michaelrourke9830 what do you mean? I don't understand your comment. I'm simply backing up @RobbieTrujillo's reply. I don't see what you're trying to achieve with your comment?

"Congratulations Matt", that's the funniest shit I've in long time.😂
You are the man Robbie! Truly a buck of the lifetime
Im confused you were in different units and spotlighting what’s going on 😅
Spotlight is legal when you don't have a weapon and the Auction Governor Tag allows him to hunt anywhere in the state

Glad you liked it! Yeah, hopefully they can survive the lions! Thank you!

Are you scouting at night spotlighting?
Yes, spotlight is legal when you don't have a weapon with you
Great buck, way to make it happen!
Thanks!
So I can hunt multiple units?
If you have the Gov tag👍
Dedication=Results

Good catch! I didn't notice that but there were 2 bulls bugling pretty good that morning! Glad you enjoyed the video, that means a lot! Thanks man!👍👊

Loved this!

Do you guide for mulies in NM?
Outstanding buck, great find! No ground shrinkage here. Do you remember what his scoreable width was? I always like to see if my field judging is any good ;)
Thanks! The inside spread was 23 on him
What was his score and the shed as well?
He scored 212 5/8 & that shed scored 91 and some 8ths!
What does it cost to hunt a deer if this size?
2B or 2C ??
Robbie is there a way of contacting you outside of UA-cam? I’d like to asked a couple questions. Thanks if it works out.
There's socials and email in the description👍

You do know that it is illegal to spot light in New Mexico.
It is perfectly legal as long as you don't have a weapon.

@@chegabaldon9252 Yes exactly... so what's the problem?
@michaelrourke9830 what do you mean? I don't understand your comment. I'm simply backing up @RobbieTrujillo's reply. I don't see what you're trying to achieve with your comment?
@chegabaldon9252 my apologies. I was trying to reply to the original comment, but as you see, I failed. Again, my apologies.
Spotlighting and trail cameras are illegal in Az. Should be there also. Cheating on your hunt is Cheating everyone.
