Let's Visit Gamestate Brussels | Arcade Games and MORE in Belgium

Gamestate is a chain of arcades in the Netherlands and Belgium, and since I was in Brussels I thought I'd check what I could find at Gamestate Brussels.

This isn't an in-depth review, but it should give you a quick overview of games and activities that can be found if you're ever in Brussels. It's well worth a visit for any geek, or for anyone looking for something fun to do.

1:22 - Galaga was a great arcade game back in the 80s.
As a kid I had a mini version of it at home.

Agreed! I loved it on the NES as well. I think I had a version of it there at least... Probably on one of them 100-in-1 carts.

I was there in August. The pump it up machine was in terrible condition. 😅 these locations lack 1 vs 1 fighting games.

I love arcades. A very good friend recently turned 50 and...he had a party at a "retro" arcade. It was a blast because we met as adults, so...we never got to hang out in arcades as kids. In that sense, I guess it was the next best thing to growing up together, playing pinball, Joust, Tron, and so many other old games together. Local arcades with restored and replica arcade cabinets have become popular in the Dallas area...and most serve a wide variety of beer, too. I suppose that's a thing we didn't have as kids 😉

That sounds bloody marvelous! I just wish there were more opportunities to meet people and play like that here in Sweden. But then again, I am going to an event called Retrogathering this weekend so I guess I shan't complain :D

Thanks for uploading, 2 floor gamestate will be opening only a 10min walk away from my campus in a couple weeks, hope itll be as dope as this one (although some more drinking facilities are welcome😅)

Lucky you! I wish I had something like that here in Stockholm. We do have one good arcade, and there is drinking...but you have to leave the drinks outside of the arcade area. Boo boo hiss hiss :D

Looks like the Gamestate Amsterdam is somewhere to the south-east. I've never been in that area myself...
