Awh To Zanarkand is my very favourite FF song, and I was a bit reluctant to listen, because Im partial to piano. But this is really very beautiful, and very well done. Its an interesting sound, but it adds to the song fantastically. Awesome job. (:

Constant nitpicking is an unfortunate part of putting videos out on youtube. It's not that it's bad, or that it isn't arranged properly, but rather that it doesn't suit their taste. They came in with preconceptions, and left with the same preconceptions. Anyway, very well done, I listen to this almost daily. There are two people in the room with me right now that also love this.
union i agree with you, everyone overrushes this song, except 1 person, if you search: to zanarkand piano and take the second, she's playing it on the piano and is doind it perfect
I recorded a version of this using two clean tone electric guitars, and it was HARD. Its all sweeping arpegios and because its originally on the piano the harmonies were outrageous as only one hand can frett the strings, good times
