- I used to have almost as tall as I'm Jacaranda tree on a pot but it died one winter. Now I started to grow new ones. This time I keep one patch of those as a bonsai forest and 3 in a pots.
Jacaranda mimosifolia makes most beautiful flowers, hopefully I will get those indoors sometime in the future!

I really appreciate the information, but I'm even more grateful you're so active and helpful in the comments.
Usually when you finally find a video about a niche subject like this, its a twelve year old message-in-a-(cyber)bottle, where the uploader has no digital footprint and refuses to interact with the comment section 😂
I try to be if possible. I have so many projects going on and on the "hard drive" waiting for time to edit and upload but life gets on the way :D
Nice music choice and those will be awesome bonsais in the future for sure!
I’ve just uploaded a video of my jacaranda! How amazing! Yours look stunning! 🤩🤩🤩😂
I just checked it out! I respect your passion, patience, and willing to share.

@@jacobsimanek1333thank you so much :)))
Hope to see your trees flower I maid a mistake of planting my in the ground
Mine is doing well but she was blooming and growing fast in her pots
@JB-sv5pr how many years did it take to bloom?
How much watts of led and 18/6?
This light used in this one is adjustable power. If I remember correct it's something like 0-200W. And this is 24h on, which isn't really good for the plants, plus the heat is usually too much also. Those purple/violet/pink lights for me grows so much faster, healthier and better, but they just don't look good on video in anyway of color correction...
What soil mix did you use?
I mixed perlite, herb starting mix and don't remember name of third, some wood thing...
How long it takes to grow long as an human size?
Probably couple years in its own climate but way longer in home. I had years ago one about 1.5m tall and it was about 5 years in a pot. It died after I moved.
@@tiinasoderholm thanks for information it's helpful 👍
They grow up to 10 feet or about 3 meters yearly in tropical climates outdoors
Is that sand?
Yes, I placed it on top of the soil to keep bugs away...
No, it’s patrick
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂@@AnxietyFreak
Wow, update?
One is alive and slowly growing in a window shill. Others didn't like the growing lamp 24/7 I think
Was this indoors? Asking for my jacaranda from seed id like to keep indoors for the first 100 days
Yes it was and under artificial light
@@tiinasoderholm thank you! Do you recommend any specific artificial lights?
I got many different ones but for filming timelapse white color is a much... I feel that those pink purple lights grows way faster thought but is impossible to edit usable video... I also have huge old tube light which is good for big area but takes a lot of energy and is noisy, ugly brown color and bad for eyes and also generates heat... Good at winter time in my window!
Thanks for the share, any updates on these?
Thanks for watching! Only two are still slowly growing on a windowsill. Others didn't like something. Maybe 24/7 light or dirt they're in...
