XHData radio features are excellent but a thing is that After the warranty period of 1-Year how to get the costly radio serviced in India. Do a customer needs to buy a new another radio. Is there any way to get the radio serviced from Manufacturer for servicing it after 1-Year if the shipping and other charges are met by customer
D-808 is fantastic in receiving broadcast radio stations on all bands including the SSB signals. However, the disaster is it's memory storage system. Really find it hard to fathom that team XHDATA had the audacity to release this radio receiver for commercial sales without even bothering to address this issue. Can XHDATA fix this issue through a firmware update? Cheers! New Delhi
@@nanvvn 14,195, 14,200, 14,205, 14,210 kHz in the 20 meters band usually in the afternoon after 16:00hrs. And, in the 40 meters band is in the morning from around 06:00 am at 7050, 7045, 7065, 7070, 7080 kHz. Cheers!
I doubt the memory system can be modified just like that. They might as well introduce an entirely new XHDATA model from scratch, with an entirely different memory storage system, rather than trying to make changes to the firmware that was meant for the AR-1780.
It's been a while since I played around with the D-808's awful page memory system. I don't think this radio allows individual memory slots to be deleted. You can only replace the old frequency with another one, unlike Tecsun's digital radios. Fun fact: the D-808 is actually copied from the Digitech/Deshibo AR-1780 receiver, right down to user interface. The major differences between the two is that the AR-1780 uses AA batteries instead of a single 18650 lithium ion cell and that it also has cool illuminated buttons for use in darkness. . 📻👍🏼
@@nanvvn There is no limit to the maximum battery capacity ANY radio can accept. If you know something about batteries, the higher the capacity the more expensive it is, but the fewer the charge/discharge cycles the battery can tolerate. If you can afford it, look for the XTAR or Vapcell N40 4000 mAH 18650 cell. These are the only brands that make genuine very high capacity 18650 batteries. XTAR, Vapcell and Molicel brands are highly respected by the flashlight and vaping community. A real 4000 mAH 18650 cell is not cheap, if you find any vendor selling "4000 mAH" 18650 batteries at cheap prices, their capacity claims are 100% fake. There is also no such thing as a 6800 mAH 18650 battery yet. The highest genuine battery manufacturers can make is 4000 mAH. Note that the D-808 has only one contact spring, which is at the negative pole. A 18650 flat top cell may be too short and might not make good electrical contact, while a protected 18650 cell is too long to fit inside the battery compartment. Use only button top (unprotected) 18650 cells for the D-808. My personal recommendation: Vapcell M35 (3500 mAH) button top 18650, which I use for my tactical flashlights.
@@nanvvn There is no limit to the battery capacity. If you can afford it, try to find the Vapcell N40 4000 mAH 18650 cell online and order one. My favorite battery is the red Vapcell M35 (3500 mAH) button top, which I use for my flashlights. Make sure you choose the non-protected button top kind. Flat top 18650 may be slightly loose for the D-808's battery compartment. Protected button top is too long (I've tried with one years ago) to fit. Non-protected button top is the best type for this radio.
Very nice

How to delete stored memory from each band...not total delete only selected?
