Yes one of my favorites even after reviewing 128 receivers. A very good radio. However one drawbck to the newer model is they removed the 4 passband filters. In my opinion you sre still the most honest reviewer in the hobby today.THANK YOU FOR EVERTHING YOU DO FOR RADIO. RON Z. WA3090SWL.
One little quirk I find with the Sihuadon D-808 is my inability to directly key in frequencies with only four digits (example: when I'm tuning in to Radio Nikkei 1 at 6.055 MHz), which my Tecsun PL-660 can do. When I key the frequency in, it won't tune to that frequency automatically. I don't know if that's common or if it's just me, but other than that, it is an excellent backup to my PL-660.
I hate having to hit the FREQ button before entering the freq number. They gave direct key entry to memory and basically added a function key for freq.
I've had my Sihuadon D-808 for about a year and love it. The only thing that bugs me is that the clock gains time. Is that a "feature" of the D-808 or just my model?

For 4 digits, hit the FREQ key before and after.
Nice reviews. Short and to the point. Would you recommend this or the Tecsun PL330?
PL 330 has frequency calibration and precision to 10 Hz ... better band scan with ETM+ ..no air band and no RDS on FM
Thank you. I appreciate you and your best radios content. For a newbie like me.

All radios whatever the model or brand lately have clocks that are not very accurate
@@OfficialSWLchannel Seems ironic that the radios can't keep time when they can tune into several international time signals!
Identical keyboards
