you know that you can download the app for free, then test and play all the instruments and use all the full functionality for 20 minutes at a time, when that’s over just reset the app and start again, everything is fully functional, it’s one of the best demo modes ever👍😊
Thank you for this long demo. Having played and listened to real SK3 and SK7 Shigeru Kawai, as they sounded incredibly, amazingly harmonically so rich, I absolutely don't feel this very strong musical character with this Pianoteq 8 modelisation. As I've used Pianoteq for long years (and now abandonned it to go for sampled pianos which I find more natural), I can say I personnaly immediately recognize this subtle kind of artificial and unpleasant sound provided by Pianoteq. That said, I can tell this is anyway a very good and great plugin that is light, stable, powerfull and that can really provide great satisfaction within a full ITB mix or an electronic composition. Knowing that, you shouldn't expect approach the real thing. Just be very careful with setting your velocity response well adapted to your midi keyboard, to get the most natural attacks and dynamics with your playing and touch. It also depends on the kind of music and then the kind of mix you want. Have fun !
Can't really beat a real piano for actually playing... I remember a few years back I could tell the difference between a Steinway, Yamaha or a Bosendorfer or whatever but I haven't been playing as muc lately and probably can't anymore. But I tell you, I visited Japan a few years back and visited a Yamaha, Kawai, and Bosendorfer dealer in Tokyo and it was a lot of fun.
I left a comment here yesterday, now YT has deleted it....AGAIN. Am I going to have to double check every single post I make, it's getting really effing frustrating. Sorry Doug.😠
Great demo Doug showing the character of the pianos. Enjoyed this musical interlude to my day.
Great piano sound, wonderfully demonstrated!
Great Demo, I will never complain about the costs the developers put out there. This is worth it, just can’t afford it.

Great demo. Out of my range but nice to know iOS had such options
Fantastic playing Doug!
I don't know how authentic the models are or if they're better than samples. I think they sound quite nice in the low end.
Many thanks!
