@@kumottakun6089people are sleeping in the rooms, honey sponsored this video which means they at least paid for most of this video, she also said that 3 hotels comped them
I think my favorite part of these videos is seeing how many attractions there are in Vegas that don’t involve gambling. Considering casinos can have a lot of smoking which sets off my asthma and gambling is not my scene, I like seeing the aquarium and the restaurants you can dine at.
There's a few casinos, one or two, thas used covid to scrub now and go smoke free, I don't rember which ones only that it was a big deal, I honestly can't rember if they kept it up. Honestly they should've used covid to fix that one roof that leaks every monsoon season but whatever. Either way, and as far as gambling goes, the house always wins but there's plenty of places to spend money! Shows and events are always happinging although weather or not their any good is a matter of debate, if you want to go you can but there's other places that are more interesting imo
i went when i was 18 (gambling age is 21) and still had a BLAST with everything else you can do. even just the utter ridiculousness of the theming and over the top energy of the whole strip is entertaining on its own
Just a shame, from my experience, that you have to walk through casinos to get to the shows and stuff. When I was there with a friend in... 2016, I think, we went through the same system for 3 of the 4 shows despite different buildings.
Oh yeah, asthma is an absolute killer when you have so much walking to do as it is, and the smoke doesn't help. As a fellow asthmatic that's one of the big reasons why Park MGM is my strip resort of choice - not only is is smaller and pretty affordable, but it being smoke-free makes it so easy to get around (though look out on the nights Usher performs - the entrance to the theatre is in the middle of the casino floor so it can get PACKED).
That's what I was thinking. The amount of money they spent on food alone (not only for themselves but the crew as well) must have been huge. I'm excited for the celebrity restaurants video (:
That Caesar’s Palace room literally dropped my jaw. I can’t believe that a property with that reputation would allow a room to reach that level of disrepair.
i went to vegas with my family recently and it used to be a SUPER nice hotel according to my older family members :/ i had a blast on the trip but the consensus was that vegas isn’t what it used to be jsut all around
Dude my dad took my me to Vegas in July and said don't worry it's not really that hot there and he was so wrong like we were there for 3 days and everyday was at least 100 degrees
the sheer cost of this video is blowing my mind. every additional food purchase is like a shot to the gut. I would love to know the BTS of the financial production of this video.
This might be a really random comment but this video is litereally so perfect for authors researching Vegas and diffent hotels because it gives such a good description and vibe.
I'm watching this as a literal concierge for one of the hotels on the strip and it's honestly such a good resource for how I can describe these places more positively to guests LMAO. since I grew up here, it's hard to shake the perception we develop as locals for a lot of these places, and it can be hard to find excitement in what we're so used to being around!
This series is so entertaining and so in-depth, it has insane rewatchability. I would love to see y’all do this for all of the Disney World resorts (as y’all are big Disney people from past videos). Your videos are amazing!!
When she said that they paid over $1000 for the Four Seasons, I was definitely expecting a bigger room 😅 I knew that the Four Seasons is expensive but $1000 for such a small and plain hotel room is outrageous. It’s one of those things that people will over pay for just for the name.
That and probably since the NBA players & crew were there they probably have some sort of dynamic yield pricing in play because of supply and demand (I did hotel and resort admin in college and that’s always something I remember)
Four Seasons is basically known for having exceptional service where if you end up using the amenities like the spa, restaurants, and having services such as having laundry done or room service, that's where you see the value of the Four Seasons. The theme is simple, refined elegance. They want to attract a more conservative (read as boring) clientele.
Fun Fact: Although I've never been to the Aria hotel, I can confirm that it does indeed smell like vanilla marshmallows, and now so does my office. I accidentally online found the custom scent that Aria uses in their hotel lobby and, after testing a sample, ordered it for my scent machine. It smells heavenly and I get compliments on it every time someone walks in to my office.
The logistics it must've taken to make this work blows my mind. Being able to get a room at each hotel you wanted on those specific days, checking in and out on time, transferring luggage, and the fact that it all worked so well makes my virgo heart happy 😌 her videos always scratch an itch in my brain
As a fellow Virgo, I conquer your comment! They must have been planning this a year, if not longer, in advance. Their team is amazing, love how they all got their own hotel basically because they obviously couldn't stay at each one all night so it made perfect sense that the team also got something for their hard work! Love Saf & Tyler!
@@emilee823 tbh that is what I kept thinking this while watching the food at Vegas video. I wonder which one was more costly. I imagine this trip was but the food prices had to have been outragious as well! Also in the description she did mention a few places comped them but still🤑🤑
as someone who works as a concierge for one of the resorts on the strip and has lived here my whole life but rarely visited the strip until I had to work on it (bc it pays the best for anyone in hospitality), this is honestly a very resourceful video to reference back to!! my resort requires us to walk the entire strip for a tour by our lead manager as part of our training, and it's a lotttt to take in and try to remember for our guests. it's a little hard to get past the perceptions of certain hotels as a local, but Saf & Ty did a great job highlighting great things about each place!
@@k80_ honestly most locals avoid the strip at all costs ours a bit like going to the walk of stars for LA locals lol 😂 but circus circus is known as the meth hotel lol like ghetto and you can find drugs and then there is Fremont street down farther that Is ghetto & Resort World is the hot new toy since it just opened.
Is it weird that I have watched these videos at least once a month since they came out? I’ve never been to Vegas, I don’t drink or gamble. There’s just something about Safiya and Tyler inspecting an obscene amount of hotel rooms that is very comforting to me for some reason
Man, I absolutely get you. Safiya is my comfort youtuber, I've been a follower from the start and I love to rewatch almost all of her videos all the time!
Excalibur smells worse than you can imagine. It is dark, dank and smells like an ashtray. I tried staying there once, on the 12th floor, but the cigarette smell was so ingrained in everything that I had to leave to find a new hotel room, as i couldn't breathe. Bless her heart for not calling them out on this....because it is a major factor when choosing a hotel room to stay in.
@@user-by5hq1ow1k i don't know I feel like that should have been said. especially for people who have breathing issues, or dont want to develop them XD
This is such an unhinged and over-the-top thing to do - and the absolutely perfect city to do it in. I know nothing at all about Vegas, and this video was a thrill and a joy. I've feared over the years that Safiya & Tyler would get burned out on these mega-projects, so I'm delighted that this exists - and that the celeb chef video is coming! These resorts are mind-blowing. I never could have guessed at the scale of everything in Vegas, and I had no idea everything was so interconnected. Show me all the elaborately themed hotels, I am living.
this!! I knew nothing about Vegas either before this video, they really did a good job of painting it in a different light! makes me almost consider visiting... almost.
@@bmw8913 I would assume when they say "nothing at all" they didn't mean literally NOTHING, just knew what they've seen in movies and such. So basically the same level of knowledge I had prior to this video: I knew that there are a lot of casinos, had heard of the Strip, and I had seen some of the attractions/etc. that are seen in like every movie that has Vegas in it. I didn't know that most of the attractions in Vegas were a part of the hotels/casinos (for example, the replica of Lady Liberty), or that the hotels are known to have themes! This video definitely gave a more in-depth look into Vegas for me.
@@bmw8913 Basically what Maria said - I know of it, of course, and that you drink and gamble there, and I knew it was extravagant. But I also had no idea how much theming these hotels had, and that they have crazy attractions like roller coasters or replicas of the Eiffel Tower. I didn't realize how interconnected everything was. And truly I never could have guessed how big the Vegas Strip is. 31 hotels just on Saf & Tyler's list?!! And most of them are massive!! Botanical gardens and aquariums and miles and miles of malls? I literally live in the US I"m just ~poor~ and I don't know anything about what it's like to be able to go to resorts like this.
@@pinkysaurusrawr In the beginning when Saf said you could walk miles in Vegas without even going outside I was like "oh yeah that makes sense malls and such do tend to be big" but THEY HAVE LITTLE TOWNS WITH CANALS INSIDE HOTELS?????? AQUARIUMS???? THEME PARKS???? My jaw dropped to the floor. Also, not knowing much about Vegas even if you are from the U.S is understandable I think (I am saying this as a European though). It's such a big country, how could you possibly know all there is to know, especially if you haven't had the opportunity to visit. I barely know anything about the capital of my own country but to be fair that might just be on me being a dumbass lmao
I used to work at a bargain hotel and learned some cheap hotels DON'T CHANGE THEIR SHEETS. So always a safe play to ask for fresh sheets at the hotel checkin and just change them to make sure. Or if you find some stuff on your sheets might be safer to ask for fresh sheets. Also, if you have a problem with your room like smells bad due to food being left behind alot of the time they will can charge your room (if they have available rooms). Never hurts to ask. Just some tips from former hotel worker
yeah speaking as another person who has worked in a cheaper hotel, asking for sheets is a good idea. i very rarely just didnt change sheets, but sometimes if youre trying to clean like 20+ rooms a day, tend to guests, go up and down elevators several times, etc, you cut corners just for time :\ and at my job specifically cutting corners was 99% the fault of the management too. so if you ask a housekeeper (or even front desk staff) for changes or make complaints, please just be polite, because a lot of the time it isnt totally our fault!! i worked in a casino hotel and we had some particularly awful guests so remembering to be polite will probably help everyone ^^
This is my second time travelling for long time in US, before i went to Florida, now in California and Vegas. I NEVER stay in any budget hotels, always not lower than 4 stars, and it feels sometimes they do not change sheets there either. And in Bellagio it felt like they took the towels from the floor and just put them back on. This is America for ya. In Europe ( where i m from) sheets are crispy so u see immediately they re clean
yalls messages rn are like horrific to me, im housekeeping and we had a girl who go fired for, among other things, not changing sheets on her rooms. from the way managment was talkin they made it sound like not only where they open to lawsuits bc of it, they made it sound illegal. maybe thats just cause we're a smaller hotel tho idk
Is this an american thing? Because at all the hotels in Europe where I stayed (and I always choose the cheapest ones) the sheets were changed, sometimes several times during the stay, depending on the duration (you can tell by the smell and after the fact that they are perfectly ironed and pressed).
@@alinam5092 It's an "overworked minimum-wage workers being forced to take care of an enormous number of rooms in far too little time or else" thing. :(
Safiya snapping at Tyler to get out of the heat is hella relatable because I'm pretty sure it happens at least once to every married couple on vacation.
I love that Tyler sees a rainbow & immediately thinks the white fluffy things hanging around/above it are dumplings & not clouds. The way that man’s mind works is astounding 💀🤣
Fun fact: At 12:25 , the baby hammerhead you see is actually a fully grown hammerhead! These sharks are called bonnethead sharks and are the most adorable silly little guys you may ever lay your eyes on :33
Honestly no one deserves it more than her and Tyler ❤ And you would never know either because they are both so down to earth and level headed! I love them so much
When I stayed at the Mandalay Bay, my favorite part was people in the lazy river would secretly pass along the inner tubes to strangers as they were leaving due to the solidarity against that outrageous rental fee. It was beautiful.
LOL my family used to do that all the time at mgm grand! oftentimes we didn’t have to pay for an inner tube, we’d get one from someone leaving then give it to someone as we left
The amount of work this must have been to plan, book, check in/out, pack/unpack, and still ENJOY this trip is wild!! This is so thorough and possibly the best review series I've ever seen! Thank you!!
56:55 on what’s probably my fifth rewatch of this video I realized what makes this moment stand out to me. It’s the fact that Safiya, while visibly affected by the heat, still stops to hold the door for Tyler and insists he get in first. It’s probably from the logistics of their filming, I get that. But I could also see a less thoughtful person who is that hot just not worrying about the shot and going in without stopping to get the door for the person filming.
She gave us 2 hours of footage and frankly, I'm not mad about it. I'm actually pretty excited to have 2 hours of content to veg out to whenever I have an extra moment. This is the type of stuff i like to watch in multiple sittings. Watch a little while i eat, while i crochet, while i lay down before bed to chill. This is great. Thanks for not being afraid to post something so huge \o/
The Dragon section at Excalibur used to be Russia. My sister and I visited the week that the Russia/Ukraine war broke out and the staff was scrambling to figure out what to do. Thanks for doing this video series. Can’t wait til we go back
@@caffe1n8ed I'm not sure but if the fridge isn't weighted, A worker of possibly under minimum wage is sent in to check if they have the right number of bottles. That's it. 20 bottles. Look untouched. Next room. Smells like death? Sure. But 20 bottles. Maybe they are coming back for the death left overs. It's a multi level failure.
Ngl, this has become my "comfort video". I would just put it on the background while doing other things and listening to Safiya ja Tyler's talking and their positive energy just makes my anxiety melt away for a bit. :3
@@LLWarmstrongI stayed in Circus Circus. Yes, it is undesirable to stay in there lol. I found a fresh you know what stain on the sheet, had them replace it of course but it’s like a motel at best. The hallways were creepy as hell and the look from outside reminds me of the Cecil hotel. Really not worth it. Maybe to enjoy the Adventuredome and other activities in there but please don’t stay in.
This is legitimately probably one of my favorite videos you guys have ever done on this channel, which is saying a lot! Going to Vegas and staring at all the lights and crazy buildings and wanting to know what's going on in there is such a universal experience, I'm shocked I'd ever get to see this much of it. The production quality and the history is also really cool too, I learned a lot and was completely drawn into the experience you guys embarked on.
I want Discovery channel to pay Safiya and Tyler to do this all over the world! You two are so relaxing and entertaining to watch. I also agree that Vegas themed hotels need THEMED ROOMS! Pirates in the streets, basic ass Hilton in the sheets, that’s Vegas.
As someone who lived and worked on the strip. It was interesting how you reviewed some of the hotels. The Excalibur is very frowned upon and the Aria is loved. The Aria lobby changes all the time depending on the time of the year and it's the most zero waste and eco friendly hotel on the strip! The science that's done to keep that lobby cool during the summer is probably the most interesting part of the whole hotel. The Luxor is probably the most haunted hotel on the strip. When they were making it many workers fell to their deaths in the hotel in addition many drunks fall to their deaths as well. I will never forget the feeling of being followed in the halls. When passing through to get to Mandalay Bay I had a path that I always did just so I had a low chance of a ghost following me again.
100% people falling to their deaths at the Luxor makes sense to me. That shot of the hallway is terrifying. Thinking about trying not to fall over it while drunk is nightmare-inducing
As someone else who also loves Vegas but would never have got to experience half of these hotels bc I’m a broke bish, I LOVED this and can’t wait for part 2. Thanks for making them!
It was amazing to see the variety of rooms and their prices.. like the first room was just sad.. it was, like she said, a good room, but at over $1k per night it was ridiculously basic. The rest of the hotel was kind of nice but the room is what you're paying for.. The 2nd then was in the same building and *half* the price and still a far better room in my opinion. Then you even see the 3rd which the color scheme in that room sucked but the room itself I still feel was better than the first.. So, as another "broke bish", I enjoyed getting to see how you actually can get better for cheaper. You might get less amenities and such but that doesn't really matter.. not like you'd be spending a whole lot of time in the hotel itself.
Stay at the Red Rock hotel & casino. You can get a view of the strip or Red Rock canyon. I love their spa and they have a decent variety of restaurants
As a Canadian who will probably never step foot in Vegas ever. This was so cool to watch. I loved that you talked about the different attractions even if you didn't do them. This was fun and I can't wait for part 2. It's exactly the video I needed while stuck in isolation with the rona.
As a vegas local, I'm glad you liked resorts world! My dad was one of the main ppl managing the construction of it and it was a long and tedious journey for everyone involved so I'm happy it paid off!
I watch this video like once a month when I realize I can't afford to travel. I am begging y'all to make more travel content, I am LIVING vicariously through you
this might sound weird but while i adore literally all of safiya's videos, the las vegas series have become my ultimate comfort watch- like i've rewatched them so much since they came out and would love to see more in vegas, or even just a similar series somewhere else ! tho that would get very expensive haha p.s i love trying to decide on which room is my favorite- and now that i've graduated high school, maybe i'll end up going to vegas
Fun fact for those that do not know, the Bellagio has an underrated sister hotel called the Beau Rivage. I've been there a lot. It's owned by the same company, and the hotel is a bit smaller but is more themed towards a southern italian style. The hotel is located in Mississippi for anyone whose interested in visiting.
I stayed there for new years weekend one year and it was alright! It was a shame that there was such heavy cigarette smoke throughout the entire thing and there wasn’t an in room coffee machine
@@rosesske2551they could prob do it with a sponsorship. honestly, i’m surprised disney hasn’t reached out to them bc making a video like that would be amazing promotion
What treasure island has taught me is that themed hotel designers need to learn from Japan. The toy story hotel is so cool, and they could make their hotel just as cool as that one
Hi Safs editor! I really enjoy the small random informational details given for every hotel. Could you leave them up a little longer next time? It was really fast sometimes. Thanks!
In retrospect, my third time watching this, I gotta say that shot of Saf just screaming bloody murder at the top of her lungs while the big shot very slowly comes to a stop is underrated and fucking hilarious
My grandparents got married at the Excalibur dressed as a king and queen and when I was a kid (not knowing it was a themed wedding) I thought we were royalty 🤣
The serotonin boost I get when I hear Saf’s voice introducing a new video is something I have yet to come upon in any other form of youtube entertainment. Her videos were a cozy shelter during my stormy teen years and are now my relaxing treat after university. Love you girlie, you have the most soothing voice in the world, like a female Morgan Freeman.
as someone who is VERY indecisive and also intrigued by but overwhelmed by Vegas, this was PERFECT I want to go back and have fun but even deciding where to stay is daunting to me and I love that they showcased both the rooms and also activities to do at each location, especially since some cater towards partying and excitement like you might expect, but others have more calm and peaceful options if you so desire while still being on the Strip. I now also have a whole list of activities I just want to do in various hotels even if I'm not keen on staying there haha how fun!! like others in the comments I'm not into gambling but on occasion I'm still down for a party/club, so it was really eye-opening to see how I could combine all that and really have a lot of fun getting the most out of Vegas in a way that wasn't just partying CONSTANTLY I have no idea when I'll be there next, but I have to say I've already started building my top 5 lol for various reasons: (as if anyone will read this but maybe it's also just for my own reference for the future ^^) 1) Mandalay Bay 2) The Cosmpolitan 3) The Bellagio 4) Park MGM 5) oddly enough, Nobu (I'm intrigued by that bathroom what can I say lol) . . . 6) also Waldorf Astoria if I ever had the chance/could afford to be extra SUPER lux
Part 2 Selections: (again mostly for my own indulgence lol also wanted everything in one spot for myself) 1) Palazzo 2) The Wynn (even with the sandwich ngl, lol I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one) Bally's The Flamingo? - I've stayed here before but it's definitely been renovated as my room definitely looked a bit different so I'd say ups for the new decorations, it looks great! and I somehow didn't go see the actual flamingos at all so maybe if I ended up there again I'd give it a go I guess for Part 2 I'd mostly go for some attractions or restaurants out there I think 🤔
Thank you so much for commenting on the vaping, smoking, and smells. As someone who has a lung condition, this helped determine how accessible or what is accessible for people like me.
My boyfriend and I just took a trip to Vegas. One BIG tip I would give is look for which hotels have reports of bed bugs and check EVERY bed! Also keep luggage zipped, off the floor and away from walls and furniture. Two weeks after we came home we found out we picked up some hitch hikers from our trip… what a horrifying 2 weeks after of exterminators and heebee jeebies!
This. In fact always check the bed by lifting up the mattress and sheets, and open a few drawers etc to check at EVERY hotel you stay at. It’s a quick check to save a lot of pain. It’s also nice to just go over very touchable surfaces with a sanitizing wipe to avoid the 10-14 days after your vacation getting sick as often.
13:20 I'm from Aswan, Egypt, which is a two hour drive from the Luxor airport. so fun fact: Luxor is one of the Governates in Egypt, in arabic الاقصر (al-oxor) which means "the castles". it has a lot of tourist spots and museums, same with Aswan, in upper Egypt. It was named that way because it was historically full of large and beautiful castles. historically, Luxor city, the capital of the Grovernate, was the capital cuty of ancient Egypt (formerly known as طيبه (teeba)).
That Titanic exhibit is definitely worth going to, the black room with the lights in the distance (16:32) is really eerie, and then the room with the giant iceberg (16:46) is actually quite cold. It's also really cool (and sad, but immersive for sure) to see the smaller items on display, like jewelry and shoes set in sand like you're seeing them on the ocean floor. Also the "Big Piece" at 16:35 is an actual piece of the ship, the largest piece ever recovered. You also get a QR code at the beginning assigning you a real person from the ship and you find out if you lived or died by the end of the tour. Kinda dark, but really immersive!
I’m not sure if this particular exhibit is permanent or not, but there was a traveling Titanic exhibit that I visited a while back here in California that was very similar. Definitely agree that it’s worth checking out
I went in august to the vegas one and i asked if it was meant to be a traveling exhibit and they basically said yeah but no one wants to move it so its staying there
Totally agree! I went with my family about a decade ago to the one in Pigeon Forge, TN and it was amazing. I still have all the “boarding passes” they gave us(this was obviously before they started using QR codes to assign you a passenger lol)
Fish for breakfast is the best. Also thank you for not cramming all this content into a 20 minute video. This is perfect to kick back and relax with some dinner and a cuppa tea and i'm so glad we get a part 2.
Safiya being so put out with Johnny Rockets that she calls them out multiple times in both parts of this series makes me love her even more 😂 I’d be so pissed too paying $60 bucks for 3 chicken sandwiches 🙃
I love that you have showcased a good portion of the big hotels on the strip. When we stayed at the Mirage, during Chinese New Year, I had made friends with one of the gardeners. He was so kind and knowledgeable about the garden. The sweetest part was he gave us 3 of the mandarin oranges that were growing in the garden there so each of our young kids could enjoy a fresh orange when we got home to a snow storm. Stay awesome and Hugs from Esquimalt
as someone who LOVES to travel I will never understand how people can hate it. There's nothing more amazing to me than seeing new things and experiencing different cultures haha. Those views from the Strat's restaurant with the lightning in the distance are incredible! My best friend is planning a Vegas trip for this spring and I've never been, so watching this got me all kinds of hyped for things we can do that aren't gambling-related (none of us gamble, we just wanna eat good food and wander the strip)
The excitement in Excalibur and the rollercoaster looks amazing. Safiya has been posting a lot of informative or fun experiences in general but I think this is a goldmine of her excitement where she actually screams or shout with joy! Truly wonderful
As someone who lives in Vegas, I’m so glad you did this! Lots of people have done the whole “we stayed at every hotel on the strip” but I just love what you and Tyler bring to the reviews because they feel so much more genuine (and funny) haha. A couple of my own personal thoughts on some of the hotels from part 1: - I really think the hotels that still have strong themes should double down on them! I hate that many are phasing it out or just neglecting them, but there’s definitely a way to modernize these resorts while keeping the themes. They make Vegas, Vegas! - NYNY is incredibly underrated! I had never stepped foot in there before moving here but having been a few times, it’s become one of mine & my husband’s favorites because of the theming, the food selection, its location, and the attractions in and nearby. I had always assumed it was kinda like Excalibur in terms of being super dated and while we’ve never stayed in the rooms, I don’t get that from NYNY! - Park MGM doesn’t have as much compared to the other hotels, but its location, the vibes, and the smoke-free aspect are huge draws for me personally. - Resorts World was meant to be more of an “Asian themed” hotel because the owners are based in Asia and RW is actually a chain of hotels which they have all around Asia too. It was also the first new hotel on the strip in over a decade when it opened in June 2021. - I know you guys don’t gamble so this wouldn’t be relevant, but Circus Circus is the last hotel on the strip where you can use coin slots like they used to! I’ve never done it before but hearing the sounds remind me of my grandma when she used to go take a bus trip to the casinos and come back with a bucket full of coins 🥺 I loved this and can’t wait to see part 2!
have i ever been to Vegas? No will i ever go to Vegas? probably No. did i watch the whole one-hour video of Vegas content and enjoy every minute of it? HELL YEAH

New Years 2009 at Luxor I got down and army crawled from the elevator back to my room at 6 in the morning 😂😂😂…did not trust my drunk ass to not fall over that railing
We stayed at the Strat for our honeymoon. Ate at The Top of the World. Walked down to go back up to our room. Hit $300 on a slot machine. Paid for our dinner! So fun!
I'm really curious to know what happened with the spoiled food situation. As someone else was wondering, did it get handled with the hotel? Did they give you another room or make up for it? That was such a huge mess up on the hotel's part!
As soon as I saw the list, I KNEW you'd love the Park MGM. It's such an escape from the typical Vegas cigarettes, dust, and heat. The Starbucks is everything and the rooms are fantastic. My bf and I found our permanent place to stay when we visit. Not to mention, the Gaga museum is so freaking cool!
I actually felt like I was on vacation while watching this with you guys. It just gives me “friends showing what they did on vacation” vibes, but with better editing. Las Vegas should use you guys in their promo commercials; this makes me wanna go there now 😂
I just found Safiya, watched her 3 Vegas episodes and booked a vacation 🙈 and bought holo taco nail polish. This lady is too good on selling me on stuff 👏

Shows and events are always happinging although weather or not their any good is a matter of debate, if you want to go you can but there's other places that are more interesting imo
i went when i was 18 (gambling age is 21) and still had a BLAST with everything else you can do. even just the utter ridiculousness of the theming and over the top energy of the whole strip is entertaining on its own
youll have to walk through casinos most of the time tho
As someone who has no plans of ever going to Vegas, thanks for letting me live vicariously through Tyler and his foot pain. Because that would be me.
Me too
Not even for the shows? Do you watch them online?
All I can think abt is the amount of money and organization it took to make this video. I'm truly impressed. This is commitment
That's what I was thinking. The amount of money they spent on food alone (not only for themselves but the crew as well) must have been huge. I'm excited for the celebrity restaurants video (:

I think you pay there to avoid people, celebrities, sports stars, etc, NHL teams stay there
I thought the other two Mandalay Bay hotels had nicer rooms lol
When there isn't an NBA event its less than a third of that. Life long Vegas resident here.
Fun Fact: Although I've never been to the Aria hotel, I can confirm that it does indeed smell like vanilla marshmallows, and now so does my office. as someone who works as a concierge for one of the resorts on the strip and has lived here my whole life but rarely visited the strip until I had to work on it (bc it pays the best for anyone in hospitality), this is honestly a very resourceful video to reference back to!! my resort requires us to walk the entire strip for a tour by our lead manager as part of our training, and it's a lotttt to take in and try to remember for our guests. it's a little hard to get past the perceptions of certain hotels as a local, but Saf & Ty did a great job highlighting great things about each place!
I will say i grew up in Vegas and I spent a lot of time playing tourist on the strip and they still somehow showed places I have never seen before.

Show me all the elaborately themed hotels, I am living.
this!! I knew nothing about Vegas either before this video, they really did a good job of painting it in a different light! makes me almost consider visiting... almost.
Are you guys somewhere extremely remote internationally because who doesn’t know about Vegas?? ESPECIALLY in the US????????????????

A 1 hour video that's only part 1?? My apartment is going to be so clean after listening to these
Here is th new clip
ua-cam.com/video/zEFtVyZALIs/v-deo.html
Lol. I try to do that too sometimes, but then I want to see what’s happening on the screen
Right? I started cleaning my room without realizing it
My people! I will totally pause a video I think is good for cleaning to and back to it later when I’m ready to do a deep apartment clean
Same 😂😂
I don't know if it's a webby or streamy or people's choice award but this deserves critical acclamation.
My grandparents got married at the Excalibur dressed as a king and queen and when I was a kid (not knowing it was a themed wedding) I thought we were royalty 🤣
oh wow that's such an amazing idea😭👌🏻
This is so cuteeee
Epic 😂😂😂
The serotonin boost I get when I hear Saf’s voice introducing a new video is something I have yet to come upon in any other form of youtube entertainment. Her videos were a cozy shelter during my stormy teen years and are now my relaxing treat after university. Love you girlie, you have the most soothing voice in the world, like a female Morgan Freeman.
This is already another Safiya video that I can see myself rewatching over and over again.

Yeah I'm already back 😅
Also, 10/10 to Saf's wardrobe on this trip. A+. So good.
as someone who is VERY indecisive and also intrigued by but overwhelmed by Vegas, this was PERFECT
I want to go back and have fun but even deciding where to stay is daunting to me and I love that they showcased both the rooms and also activities to do at each location, especially since some cater towards partying and excitement like you might expect, but others have more calm and peaceful options if you so desire while still being on the Strip. I now also have a whole list of activities I just want to do in various hotels even if I'm not keen on staying there haha how fun!! like others in the comments I'm not into gambling but on occasion I'm still down for a party/club, so it was really eye-opening to see how I could combine all that and really have a lot of fun getting the most out of Vegas in a way that wasn't just partying CONSTANTLY
I have no idea when I'll be there next, but I have to say I've already started building my top 5 lol for various reasons:
(as if anyone will read this but maybe it's also just for my own reference for the future ^^)
1) Mandalay Bay
2) The Cosmpolitan
3) The Bellagio
4) Park MGM
5) oddly enough, Nobu (I'm intrigued by that bathroom what can I say lol)
.
.
.
6) also Waldorf Astoria if I ever had the chance/could afford to be extra SUPER lux
Part 2 Selections:
(again mostly for my own indulgence lol also wanted everything in one spot for myself)
1) Palazzo
2) The Wynn (even with the sandwich ngl, lol I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one)
Bally's
The Flamingo? - I've stayed here before but it's definitely been renovated as my room definitely looked a bit different so I'd say ups for the new decorations, it looks great! and I somehow didn't go see the actual flamingos at all so maybe if I ended up there again I'd give it a go
I guess for Part 2 I'd mostly go for some attractions or restaurants out there I think 🤔
Thank you so much for commenting on the vaping, smoking, and smells. As someone who has a lung condition, this helped determine how accessible or what is accessible for people like me.
Heads up, don't go to the Excalibur. Apparently so smoky it's given people asthma attacks
this is the 50th time ive watch this video I'm not joking, the replayability of safiya's videos especially this one is crazy dude
The stuff on the pillows at the Excalibur was concerning.
Out of curiosity did you stay at one of the ones that was reviewed by them?
My worst nightmare!
What hotel was it?
I would have watched a 7 part series of this where they stayed in 1 place per night
I work at a hotel as a house keeper so I’m going to be judging every room based on how easy it would be to clean lol
😂
Tell us the top 3 rooms that you'd want to clean on each side of the strip! Mini housekeeping review in the comments here!Do it! 🙌
That's no fun when you can't detached from work outside of work, maybe work on it.
That's what I was doing 😂
@@lauralanthalasa7 its a video about her job what do you expect
😢😅 this comment gives a lot of emotions but it convinced my to go to to this exhibit cause it’s both cool yet sad. But it’s sounding super interesting
Do you recommend buying tix to the exhibit in advance? Or is it pretty walk up friendly
The Las Vegas tourism board owes you guys some money. My mom has been wanting to take me to Vegas for years. This video has us planning a trip!
As someone who hates traveling, I LOVE this kind of travel content. I never have to leave home if you keep making stuff like this 😎
as someone who LOVES to travel I will never understand how people can hate it. There's nothing more amazing to me than seeing new things and experiencing different cultures haha. Not judging though, I just always find it so interesting to see how differently people can view the same things :D Glad to hear you enjoy watching the world through videos like this at least : )
Kinda ironic since I was forced to travel a lot as a kid. I now have to relearn how to enjoy it, and these videos help a lot. :D
@@lara_bejes7890 We're probably just lazy about the flights and trips and packing and unpacking, damn i got tired just thinking about it ans typing it 😮💨😮💨😮💨
@Head Captain Yamamoto exactly that! No matter how much fun I have just the recovery time, packing sitting on a plane/in a car for hours never makes it seem worthwhile. Id much rather do something in my hometown or a have a daytrip
@lara_bejes I would love to just teleport to a location and then straight home lol! Its the in between stuff that makes travelling not my favourite thingg.. glad you love it though! Make travel content for me so I can experience it too lol
A couple of my own personal thoughts on some of the hotels from part 1:
- I really think the hotels that still have strong themes should double down on them!
I’ve never done it before but hearing the sounds remind me of my grandma when she used to go take a bus trip to the casinos and come back with a bucket full of coins 🥺
I loved this and can’t wait to see part 2!
Also a local. Famous Foods Street Eats at Resorts World is super fun!
The front desk at NoMad thinks ---- "Oh shit it's Safiya UPGRADE!"
Safiya thinks ---- "I'm so down to earth I have no idea people actually know me."
It does kinda ruin the video though lol I wanted to see the basic room I could maybe actually afford 😅
LOL - I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure NO ONE in Vegas watches famous UA-camrs!
For whatever reason, your vegas videos are my go-to on nights when I can’t sleep and am bored. I can’t even count how many times I’ve watched these.
have i ever been to Vegas? No
will i ever go to Vegas? probably No.
did i watch the whole one-hour video of Vegas content and enjoy every minute of it? HELL YEAH
I feel like I've spent a ton of money in Vegas from the comfort of my couch. Thank you Safiya and Tyler for keeping my bank account intact
I've only been to Vegas once, for a friend's wedding about 5 years ago and ever since then I've had a reoccurring dream where it is my main quest to explore every Hotel on the Vegas Strip! You guys have literally helped me realize a dream that I probably wouldn't be able to fulfill in real life.
New Years 2009 at Luxor I got down and army crawled from the elevator back to my room at 6 in the morning 😂😂😂…did not trust my drunk ass to not fall over that railing
Safiya's sense of fashion for her everyday self has grown so much!
Saf: "were eating straight from the serving pates don't judge us"
Tyler: "That's like, one of the reasons we got married!"
my heart: ❤❤🔥🔥
We stayed at the Strat for our honeymoon. Ate at The Top of the World. Walked down to go back up to our room. Hit $300 on a slot machine. Paid for our dinner! So fun!
I'm really curious to know what happened with the spoiled food situation. As someone else was wondering, did it get handled with the hotel? Did they give you another room or make up for it? That was such a huge mess up on the hotel's part!
I just know the amount of planning and execution that went into this was crazy. Props to you guys for continuing to hit us with awesome content.
I need this to happen with every Disney World Hotel !!!
After watching this whole video, that is the one place I want to stay if I ever go to Vegas again.
Theory on the NoMad: you got upgraded because someone recognized you and was either a fan/parent of a fan and/or recognized the opportunity for free (for them) advertising
