The Guy playing Gus was in the movie Harlem Nights. Ha ha, the baby spit up on Tina. Baby spit is the worst, lol. I remember Tina walking through NY in the new outfit she got
AT 2:12 was a nice little update to Tina's theme. And who the HELL is CG? Its CJ, Karen! Did 1/2 the crew think Gottlieb was going to fire them so stuff like this was just overlooked? I find these episodes so interesting- you can tell that they were edited/rewritten (by who, I do not know) I suspect everything was up in the air at this point as to where they wanted things to go. Transitions like this are so interesting, and I don't know of any soap ever who transitioned at this level- across writers/production/tone/scope- it became a completely different show from the prior 15 years anyway..
@@NoelComiX I love that description of 85-90 OLTL!!! These episodes are bleak. No plot. No action. No background music really. A lot of conversations. Alex is the only thing worth watching and at this point the show was writing her out for good-
@@RealArtfulDodger Was that his Capitol character? I never watched that show really. He's ok but 88 DePavia Max is probably my favorite character. The stuff he did for Tina was out of an action movie!
@@NoelComiXYup....Max got Tina almost killed by drug dealers and the Falls, then he got her out of prison illegally with 98% of Cord's assist, then he fought off nuns to help her at an Italian convention. Yup he was some adventurous hero.
@@NoelComiXhe was Jimmy Oherlihy on Capitol. Matt Kingston when he came back from the dead in 90 with the new face. JD is the best Max but Nick Walker grew on me. I thought his scenes with Gabrielle were amazing
Oof this episode was a nothing burger. BTW the Tina character was SO annoying by this point. She should be laying all her love on Cord, not falling prey to the Cain Rogan siren song LOL.

It's crazy. OLTL under Rauch was like a comic book blockbuster. It was insane and amazing. Likable and loathsome characters and fever dream writing.

These episodes are pretty blah compared to '86 to '90. It's no wonder John Loprieno took a year off.
I believe CJ is Clint James....Tina and Cord's first born son.
