- Not a note for note cover but my arrangement for two guitars. The lead covers some synth lines. This is particularly useful if you don't have a lead synth player, this makes for a more guitar driven arrangement.
Recorded in Ableton with an AT2035 Mic through a Vox Ac30C2 on the normal channel.
Key:A#
Meter: 4/4
BPM: 98
Lead guitar:
MIJ fender stratocaster
Walrus Audio Deep Six Comp
JHS Morning Glory
Strymon Timeline on tape setting dotted 8th notes
Rhythm Guitar:
Deusenberg Fullerton TV
JHS morning Glory
Strymon Timeline Dual Delay quarter note + dotted 8th note
Thank you for serving Him . Can't wait to play for His people this weekend ! (Love the dotted eighth delay )
(it is dotted eighth, right??)
Nice! I only have 3 days to get this song ready for church next week. This is an Awesome timesaver. God Bless
Very good video.....thanks. We do a lot of Wickham songs at church. I too am the only EG on stage.
You absolutely ROCK! Thank you for this video. Got this song down and I just have to transpose to G for Service. God Bless You!

Also known as Bb . . .
This is more of a play through than a tutorial.
Really nice and super helpful for our worship band. I do think you tend to strum on the front end of the beat though... did you have the click in your ear for this?
ya I was using click and Im sure it isnt perfect but I was going for 1 take so it was close enough. It could have also been off a whisker when I lined up the two tracks. The rhythm has a little "run on" strum or two as well, so that part is in front of the one, I think it starts on the and of 4 or so. The second chorus I got a little ahead of things in my strumming.
Nice:)
thanks. could you also show your pedal setup, EQ guitar MIC etc, to get the sounds right
Check out my other videos for pedalboard shots, it has been the same for all the videos. I also use the same settings on my pedals as well anything you see there will apply. Check out the video description for amp/mic, guitars and pedals used etc. I use a focusrite scarlet interface, no post production EQ, its straight from the mic. The mic is about 6 inches from the center of the cone right in front of the amp. Amp is on normal channel, normal channel has no EQ, so it just plug in and set volume.
muito bom !!
Great work man! What fret would Key of A key be? Move down one fret?
Could I convince you to do a video for Your Love Never Fails (Newsboys version)?
Maybe if I find time. After listening to it real quick, there isn't a ton a guitar in it, its pretty pop oriented with a lot of synthesized parts. Mostly just that repetitive rhythm guitar that's kinda got a funk rhythm to it.
What type of effects are you using? I'm trying to cover the electric guitar part and synth. Great video though man!
Read my video description for comments on what effects I am using. I am mainly using some drive and delay. The delay unit is a strymon timeline.
what guitar brand ur using w/ the letter D---sounds good!!!thank u!!!awesome cover!!
Duesenberg or Düsenberg
What are the chords for the rhythm?
nice job! is that a starplayer tv? beautiful
Duesenberg Fullerton TV
Awesome cover, just wondering how you did the panning?? I've been trying to figure it out but I've been failing.
I did it in the recording program ableton. Just panned one track all the way right and the other all the way left so you can clearly hear both parts or only the one you are interested in
Does anyone have a tab of this? I desperately need to the lead part and can't figure it out from the video (hard to tell with some parts)
I'm not here to ask for a tab or a video tutorial but what video software did you use on this video?
Great vid! What key is the recording in?
A#
What key is this? This is good man. Good job
Bern Sanchez it's in A#
So to do this in C, you would move up 2 frets for each part?
Exactly!!
Him Could you possibly post a link to the tab that you have for the lead parts ? Thanks in advance
Sorry no tabs, everything is in the A# major scale. Get out your scale chart and that may help you fill in the blanks
on what fret is it on G?? I'm trying to find in the key of G
Enoc N move everything down 3 frets
thanks man! I appreciate your work, God bless you!
+jllogan1 what combination of effects did you use for lead guitar?
+Kevin Gabriel Check out the description on the video. The effects for both guitars are listed.
Did you do this by ear?
Nice song guyz check it out we r learning soon...
Can you share the fingerings for the rhythm chords?
For A# its the D,G and B strings (frets 8,10,11)
For D# its the D,G and B strings (frets 8,8, 11)
For Gm its the A (mute D), G, and B strings (frets 10, mute, 10, 11)
For F its its the A (mute D), G, and B strings (frets 8, mute, 10, 10)
That's what I play for the chorus and intros anyways, does that help or make sense?
What settings do you use?
Anywhere to find one for key of g?
Do you have the tabs on a website?
Are you the guy who plays for him?
nope bro, not even close!! haha.

Tabs...
Do you have tabs
is there a tab for this bro?
No tabs
I find the lack of timing on the melody in the chorus disturbing. Besides that nice tutorial. God Bless.
@Drew Smyser So you do or do not mind how out of time the 2 guitars are? And one can't ask God to bless another's efforts unless it's perfect?
Do you have any tabs?
Sorry I don't, takes too much time to tab things out. If you have a question or get stumped I'll try to answer
Thanks!
Guitar cover, not a tutorial
