There is very useful advice in this video, such as not needing to put the clip on a nail or in the baseboard. However the microphone is distorted, even though it seems to be quite an expensive model. Even worse, you have put loud music over the dialogue, making it very hard to hear properly. I have just bought my applicator before watching this video, luckily.

Perfect demonstration of your brilliant products Martyn. Well done.........Question... Is there any merit in developing a clip on the hopper which is near the screw on lid....for snap clipping the crocodile

Especially for N-Scale I can really recomend the Pro Grass Detailer. You do not need more than 6mm Grass because it is already near 1 Meter high grass. For big areas or base I have another applicator. The hopper is really small ;). I bought it for the purpose to get grass nicer at the foot of a mountain but I also like to make aditional layers or also base layers in several spots. This way tooks much longer than shown here with the layering but for me I can better detail the grass. But everybody has to find his way I guess. The detailer makes a lot of fun and I love using it. I can also recoment the colors patchy and dead grass. They blend well with Noch and Woodland colors and give new colors to the Layout.

    • @WWSCENICS

It can. But will not be self adhesive
And the other. It all depends on what grass size you use most. If your small gauge like N then yiu will use small grass so having a 10 12mm screen will be no good. You obviously are having trouble with static grass. If you have done the test and it works. Then it has nothing to do with the applicator. They either work or they don’t. There is no In between. There is a common mistake that modellers make. Is that there is no glue, which will cause the grass to fall flat.

You have your opinion I get it, but we advise against it .As most of the of the time, and I speak from experience, As I have been working with and developing static grass for 15 years. PVA is not a good glue for static grass.
