- Why British people move to Malta ? This is the story of a British Expat living in Malta. I asked him the most common questions:
1. Why he moved to Malta ?
2. How did he find an apartment?
3. How much he spend per month living in Malta?
Luke was very honest with his answers and he gave good advices to people who plan to move here. Making the move to Malta from the UK can seem like a daunting task, but with a little planning, it doesn’t have to be. Before you make any concrete plans, it is important to do some research on the visa requirements. Depending on how long you plan on staying in Malta and what type of work you plan on doing, you may be required to obtain a visa or work permit before entering the country. Make sure that you familiarize yourself with the various visa types available so that when it comes time to apply, you know which one is right for your situation. It’s also important to note that visa applications can take several months to process, so plan accordingly!
I know why Brits move to Malta. Because everyone speaks English and they are driving the same side. It doesn’t require adjustment to live at all.

Although we do not live here but as Brits we love visiting.
We are regular visitors and come on holiday every year!
We love the people , the culture, the food and last but not least the architecture!
As we work thought out the summer season in the UK the climate is perfect for us in late October or November.
We love it!!!

You touched on the subject of healthcare and I would like very much to see a dedicated video on the healthcare for ex pats and also for older people wishing to retire to Malta. Apart from the climate and the natives, one other important positive that keeps coming up about my Malta is that "there's never a dull moment " - which means a lot for someone living in "Dullsville", this being detrimental to one's mental health and well being 😇 .

England Is a beautiful country, in my case, when I traveled there, I didn't like the weather, it was really cold, some people were bored, young people suffer depression 😢 but I would like to go back because my cousin lives in England and her family was so special to me 😊.
My English teacher was from England and he was happy living in Malta because he had many friends 😃

worse than the cold is the damp and wetness, its always very wet even if not raining - cold wet windy and noone is happy except for 2-3 weeks of summer

England 🏴 is cold but the warm English people more than make up for it. Lived there for several years and still miss it. Can't wait to move to Malta so that I can visit UK 🇬🇧 😍 frequently.. Take care 🙏.

Malta was under the British we learned English in school I worked for a British firm in Malta in the office ( Gieves ) was for the high English service men in old Bakery street …I believe that beautiful place is falling apart now

I was born in Birkirkara and immigrated to Australia at age of 9 years. Australia has provided my family great opportunities for work and success. Malta of the 1970's was a difficult time as the British left and my father lost his job.
My daughter visited the main countries in Europe and stated Malta was the best for tourists. Malta has many positive features that would appeal especially to educated people. However, unskilled uneducated visitors may struggle especially with the cost of living.

😂 With possibility to spend 300% - 400% more then working class salary on island 😂😂😂 I am originally from Europe, it's pretty hard for me to even think about country where you can't live dream life with this money 😂😂😂 Alex, I love your videos, but can you get interview with some "real" person?
