@@alexandra6542 the one that sticks out in my mind was the one my father in law told. As word spread in this very rural county, men began to load up in pick up trucks and ride around with loaded shotguns, rifles etc just looking for these men, trying to help law enforcement but at that time they weren't even sure who they were looking for. Just general descriptions because this was the mid 80's. He always said you could feel the fear in the air. People were terrified because they had no idea which way the men went, would they kill again, etc. Back then nobody locked their doors and it wasn't easy to get the word out. Men patrolled all night long over this county and surrounding areas. He said he was completely shocked that no one got hurt or injured because so many people were scared and just out looking but in a sense they didn't know who they were looking for.

    (1) Spent more time planning on what to do after they escaped.
    (2) try to conceal the State van better, lock the door's.
    (3) aquired maps, split up, went separate ways.
    (4) get as far away, as fast as they can, from the prison area.
    (5) steal a vehicle, hop a train. Put as much distance between you and the prison.

Good observation. The two multiple murderers that escaped rather ingeniously, through ductwork, into the sewer system, and came up through a manhole several blocks away, are another great example. They had outside help, a woman who worked in the kitchen smuggled in various tools inside of frozen ground beef. The one guy also started a fake affair with her. It was years in the planning. They got away, but once out, they had no backup plan in case their lady friend didn’t show. She didn’t. They had no means of getting to Canada, nowhere to hide, no supplies, nothing. They were caught after about 10 days in the woods and separating. One surrendered and sits in solitary. The other decided for suicide by cop. He aimed a stolen rifle at the officer and was shot dead. The woman who realized too late she was a pawn, freaked out and went to the hospital feigning heart attack and mental symptoms. She was later arrested and is in the same prison.

The county where I live in Texas built a multi-million dollar escape proof jail. The first 3 prisoners were let out into the exercise area on top of the building completely covered with heavy chain link fence. They weren't watched because the area was escape proof. When jailers went to get them, they were conspicuous due to their absence. All the county would say was that they escaped using a pair of ordinary fingernail clippers.

@@johnjingleheimersmith9259completely different than hanging up someone else's art in your house. That would be more like buying a movie and keeping it at your house. It's more like buying the rights to old art and then selling merchandise with the art on it. But yeah no real effort, but can't blame them, I'd do it too. Also the TV does the same thing, buy the rights to a show and broadcast it on their channel. Like family guy on adult swim despite being made by Fox
