    Thank you everyone for joining today. We will continue with the upgrade next week. Gotta get the firmware updated and do a test print.

    I love these clear explanations of this machine specifically! No one else out there makes technically videos about the Sidewinder🎉 thank you very much!

    I never knew about Marlin's thermal runaway protection, now I know to check its enabled before installing any pre-configured firmware. Often I just go back to re-watch your videos and I learn something new every time, these are just so jam packed with information. Just got myself X2 and it has been a good tool for learning thanks to your excellent tutorials which have been like a goldmine for me. Already printed the first spool of PLA, now upgrading to all-metal (just in case) to see how does PETG behave. With these instructions I'm sure I have no problems whatsoever taking the hot end apart, thank you for helping me out!

      Thank you very much I am happy you are learning from my videos. For PETG I really like the Hatchbox stuff, 245c, 60mm/s base speed. Good luck and welcome to 3D printing.

    the biqu h2 v2s revo is quite a nice extruder , very light (198 grams) and works great with the sidewinder series, just a simple mount needs printing

    I love your videos. Very informative. But maybe another/additional video that is more concise instead of a live stream. For future references, we don’t have to scroll thru an hour vid for info. Keep up the great work. Thank you so much!! Subbed and liked.

      @@EtherealProject3D In your link to the happy3dthai... which heater cartridge do you recommend and why? the original 64W or 50W aftermarket? BTW love your breakout board. about to install it with a CR-touch and your fan duct. Thank you again! Gonna Klipperize very soon too with BTT Pad 7. Thank you for those vids too!

    Please tell me the idial temp for the extrude full metal to Artillery x2

    • @EtherealProject3D
      @EtherealProject3D  Рік тому +1

      That would depend on many factors. There is no one ldeal temp. Best thing to do is print a template tower with whatever filament you use.

    A bit of a strange question maybe but what is the length in mm of the original heatbreak? Is it 20.5mm?

    Are there any issues if you print 300C with the stock thermistor after updating the firmware? You mentioned it acts weird, how so?

    • @EtherealProject3D
      @EtherealProject3D  Рік тому +2

      Its a little of the the rated range from what i can tell. It should still work but may be off by a few degrees at that temperature.

    Now with K1 and K1 max they seem to have completely missed the train!

    Ok, I can show my bad computer skills, but since there are more people than me who find the firmware update complicated and it keeps me away from buying an x2, it is not possible for you to post ready files that you can just download to an sd card or usb?

    Be careful buying hot ends from China. I did and the thermister didn't fit. Same model. I have a X1. If you gonna get a Artillery printer, you gotta be familiar with tearing this thing down.
