Before I worked on my own I worked for the biggest lawn and landscaping company in north Alabama. In the winter time we did one truck of mulch every day. A truck consisted of 4 scoops from a 2 yard bucket. We usually finished around lunch and serviced our properties for the rest of the day. Winter time they partnered up crew leaders so it was only 2 men crews. On open days when you didn’t have properties too service you were expected too do 2 trucks. Your guys have it good lol

Well we don’t charge near as much as you guys do up there and a large commercial job rate has been set my guys like Brightview down here at $45 a yard installed
Here in Massachusetts you can charge $100-$110 per yard of mulch so that’s easily a $20,000 job. But of course it’s in Florida so it’s probably nowhere near that price
Do your guys only use a shovel for mulch? 100 yards is a 100 yards no matter how you slice it, but I've had a much easier time when using a 6 or 8 tined fork for mulch. Less wear on me and my helpers, feels easier and it's just as efficient at scooping with a shovel, but the heaps don't feel as hulking, pain is less by days end .
The 50&30 have the same controls. These are great machines to rent but a nightmare to own long term and maintain the tracks. After 1000 hrs I was doing non stop maintenance. I have owned a 30&2 50s.
There should be a switch under your seat to change the hydros out. Different people have different preferences so they make the machine so you can switch it. 👍
Pak Rak yeah, but the amount of time and work scooping to do that just to unload it again by hand...trust I've done this many tests and tried that lol I prefer spot dropping it
Beach River Landscapes i ended up hating mulch more than any part of landscaping when I use to do it. Seeing all that drop in the street made my back start to hurt ;)
Hugo Garcia the prices down south stink. They do get paid all year around however I did the math and I make the same amount of money up north only having half the properties I did down south

That was the smallest skid steer I've ever seen! Awesome video strawberry smurf lol
Rufus LC it is tiny but it worked
Now that is a lot of mulch! Nice to see you have hard working guys! Looking forward to seeing the final product.

Well we don’t charge near as much as you guys do up there and a large commercial job rate has been set my guys like Brightview down here at $45 a yard installed
@@beachriverlandscapes why bother? We charge $110/yard.
Damn son! I tell ya what I told you last year..... gotta find someone to blow that shit in! Your boys could be making $$ on other jobs.
Jonquil lawn & landscape lol it's part of our contract man. No money for spray ins lol
Love it! 👊👊💪💪

Eduardo52831 yeah no way dude here it's 45 usually for commercial properties and about 55 for residential
Sounds right. Many of us have mulch blowers too. On the verge of needing one myself.
Good lord that's some mulch
Crazy amount of mulch! What brand is your shirts?
Kris' yard service I use a few diff for my dress shirts

Detailed Lawn Services I also use them, so much better then shovels.
Detailed Lawn Services yeah we have them they like the flat shovels !

Do you charge by the yard we get about a 100 bucks a yard installed in Connecticut
How much do you charge for your mulch brother
55 to 60 per yard
There should be a switch under your seat to change the hydros out. Different people have different preferences so they make the machine so you can switch it. 👍
Shane Yelvington thanks man! Didn't know that!
Good stuff. If it makes you feel better I had to do a 600 bag job bc of the location of the property...
Southern Style Lawn Care fk dat!
Beach River Landscapes oh I charged lol
never knew equipment like that could be rented at Home Depot
Hazardra Lawn Care they really aren't worth a shit and are expensive I Definitely would try to find you an actual rental company in your area
Load a bunch on a open trailer so its mobile use wheel borrow
That's a lot of mulch! The red dyed mulch is not my favorite, look forward to seeing the end result.
most we ever done in one day was 60 yards on one hilly residential property. talk about a rough time.
Ooouuuch! That sounds painful bro lol
oh it was. none of us could move the next day haha. might have to use a wheeled skid next time. thanks for the idea.
Well at least you dont have to take it in 5 gallon buckets up large stair cases. Rarely are we able to move material in a wheel barrow around here.
f0rumrr damn that sucks...
Please, please, please can we do mulch. Yeah okay
Lol
how long does that take and what does it cost lol?
Scott Oswald well we don't give out our prices of course but it took a week to put that down by hand with about five guys
Or save yours guys some labor and use the skid steer to load the wheel barrels instead of them shoveling it all
Perfect job for a mulch blower?
Fixt100 we finished all by hand!
Would not have rented that particular size. Could you have traveled out of town to pick up another size.
Rob & Marisela Francis time man...mulch had a last minute delivery date n time nothing within 40miles large than the 30 unfortunately
To move it, you could have filled your truck bed up too?
Pak Rak yeah, but the amount of time and work scooping to do that just to unload it again by hand...trust I've done this many tests and tried that lol I prefer spot dropping it
Strawberry Smurf, switch them to pine straw
Lawn Commander I WISH!!!
I buy my own skid steer(mini) attachments and just rent the machines. For whatever reason rental places don't have good attachment selection.
why have it all dumped in 1 spot and then move it even farther?
Robert Swift it's dropped split on both side of the complex then I move it around. They can't sit there and spot drop it takes them too long.
I just wheel burrow that. Don't need a skid steer. So yeah.
B&B Drainage Solutions it helps...believe me. And it's about making the job easier on the guys, that's why I spend the money doing it. For them
man I just poking fun at the amount of mulch. I'd be one of the guys leaving when they rolled up and dropped it :)
Beach River Landscapes i ended up hating mulch more than any part of landscaping when I use to do it. Seeing all that drop in the street made my back start to hurt ;)
Dude why not use your dump truck. Just truck in near area.
sam get a better rate large bulk at once!
Why not just buy your own skid loader probably will save you money in the long run
random ghost just can't afford one just yet!
Wells rd
Thats a 20k job in jersey
Oh noooooo $6500? Fuckkkk thattt
Hugo Garcia yeah man it ain't Jersey lol
Beach River Landscapes ill have a heart attack
Hugo Garcia the prices down south stink. They do get paid all year around however I did the math and I make the same amount of money up north only having half the properties I did down south
Don Abraham yeah but one thing is the cost of living is usually more up north.. compared to most southern states
