i hold the steering wheel on 9-3 instead of 10-2. 10-2 is a bit outdated since we have airbags and if you get into an accident, your hands are gonna fly into your face. 10-2 is pretty outdated, so resting your hands on the hand rests and holding the wheel on the side is perfectly fine. Nice truck.

Can you unlock the seat to have it rock on the big pot holes? Truck seat is killing my back. Looking for seat adjustment. Might have to replace. Also seat doesn't go far enough back.

Kenworth T680 is my favorite track by looks how comfortable it is and the next generation is very beautiful track witch I would love to get one my self . As for heated seats and cooling seats are not a option in some of the trucks so this is also another reason why I would drive one and another thing having real leather in the truck feels much better than plastic because plastic makes it look cheap compared to leather. I would rather pay a little more for a truck for me to be comfortable in well driving versus something that looks cheap and not so comfortable. To no offense to Ronan at ET transport I would never drive freightliner at all because they are very uncomfortable for me to drive. I am a Kenworth guy and always will be.
Yup, its a brand new $200k truck. How about power outlets for phone etc? Must admit that dash scares me. Are those backup guages over by the Nav screen? Again, thx for the killer content Brian.
I drive a 2022 Cascadia with the full digital dash and infotainment screen. Definitely a huge upgrade over the 2021 I had. If I ever had to choose between the 22' Cascadia and 22' T680 as a company driver, it would be a difficult choice.
The choice wouldn't be difficult at all if you drove them back to back. The T680 rides far superior to the Cascadia. I know that from doing exactly what I just stated.

For example if admit you have a box cutter they will take it at customs from US to Canada. That's why I wanted to ask. OO here, getting quoted prices for the laung haul cuz they having problems finding people willing to deal with customs multiple times and beat up their equipment. I've got a full arctic fox package, even for APU, everything is wrapped and warmed! So would you say the main roads are in over all worse shape than U.S? And what is your experience with speed limits I hear they have suggested speeds on some roads? Are they pretty strict on speeding or will they let u open it up as a truck across the long open runs? Appreciate your reply!!!
I drive a midroof t680 pulling a flatbed as a company guy and by its a nice driving truck. I easily stay out 5-7 weeks at a time it’s like a little RV.
I despise the dropping seat when I get out.. I’m short, only 5’ 10”. The seat doesn’t go high enough. I hate the location of the cruise controls and the light controls. One thing I love on the KW is the center windshield sun visor. Gimme a Freightliner
I just got my 2022 kw..and it’s a POS.. 16k miles been in the shop 3 times and now it’s leaking coolant from somewhere I can’t find.. 6 weeks otr and it’s going into the shop for the 4th time

My T680 has a great feature, mine has a check engine light that I've been fighting since i got the truck. I hate my T680 and i eould never own another. I don't know why kenworth let this go out the door. I guess i expected better. I've driven T680s before, thats why i bought one. I'm sorry i did. Every other month its down with electrical issues
@@davidslim8718 3 days after I purchased my T680 from MHC kenworth i get a check engine light. From that day forward it has been in and out of shops with no one being able to solve the problem. New chassis wiring harnes, new Nox sensor, new wastegate valve. The list goes on. To this day, it has never been solved. So I'm trading it in and not for another T680 or any kenworth. Bad experience has pushed me away from paccar all together.

I absolutely hate that the seat dumps air when you get out of it. I'm 6'3 and I feel like I'm sitting on the ground until it airs back up. While doing a drop and hook or difficult back where I'm getting in and out alot it's just annoying and doest feel useful to me at all.
The bad thing about those seats is when your seatbelt gets locked and the seat don't go down and binds up .. the truck is not for fat or tall drivers , not much room behind the wheel , seat don't go back very far.. I have a 2025 T680 after moving out of a 2020 W990 ..
I like the placement of the side mirrors, they look like they are out front enough to not block the view down the road to the right.

The only thing that changed in the cab is they went to a digital dash. Everything else is the same including the CB mount. Not impressed.
