I am in Indiana, start all my veggies from seed and have several of this same greenhouse. At the end of the summer of year Big Lots has them marked down to $15 and I will pick up one. I am fortunate to have a bedroom that is set up for seed starting with grow lights and then transition seedlings outside in a couple of these greenhouses. I love them.

@@maryfrady7149 They are like a gift from heaven! No more having to find a place to set my seedling trays in the Spring when want to harden them off before planting in the ground. They are light weight though and need to be anchored down. Last Spring we had some high winds and my neighbor found pieces of mine all over her yard. Luckily no plants had been put on the shelves yet! Good luck!
I am in Indiana also. I need to know what high temp it should be unzipped, and what low temp the plants should come inside. I tried it once and it didn’t go so well.

WE use it all through the winter inside and grow lettuce all winter & come beginning of March we start using it inside our home with our starter plants like tomatoes etc. etc. & then when May 1st. come we transplant our starters to outside garden. WE never use the greenhouse outside no need to.

I realize this is 2 years old but I'm hoping you or someone else can give me some pointers. I just bought this and have no idea how to use it. What does the temperature need to be outside to keep plants in this and at what nighttime low should I bring plants indoors? I am currently starting seeds indoors under lights and was going to use this to transition my seedlings to outdoors, but I am wondering if there are any hardy plants that I could start in this mini greenhouse. Also what should the temperature inside be, when shoud I open the flap? Mine will be setting on a southern side of my home against a brick wall.
For the most part, you want to keep the temperature at least 25 degrees Celsius or 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The green house provides the humidity and captures heat, however the heat needs to be generated by either direct sunlight or a heat lamp. etc. If the temperature outside is below these levels, it is not optimal for growth, but it also won't kill the seedlings for certain unless it's freezing, presuming they have that cover. I bring them in (I carry the whole greenhouse in) if I think it is going to be below 12 degrees Celsius or 50 degrees Fahrenheit and that has always worked for me. Hope this helps.
@@thenorthernlilac5547 I think it must have been both. It was my firat attempt at a greenhouse (last spring) and I'm a bit nervous to try it again this year. I'll try and move it to a spot with partial shade and see if that helps
This greenhouse looks like the perfect size for my super small area outside my apartment! I live in Hawaii , do you know what the name of the Company that made this greenhouse ? Maybe I can find it online?
We also have this mini greenhouse Nicolle & we use it inside through out the winter for growing . We find using are grow lights red & white or Blue works great for our Veggies through out the winter!

Yes! This silly storm. Boo. I bring mine in a lot at night, but at least they can warm in in the greenhouse during the day. Good luck planting!
I really like mine , it has wheels , I can roll the entire greenhouse between my outside deck and back inside my house when it gets cold

When you are transitioning to outside, do you mean from indoors to this greenhouse? Or from the greenhouse to the open air on overcast day??

I would check online. Mine is from a home improvement store that is regional to north central US. Would you even need a greenhouse in Hawaii?
