Fun video! I can probably answer a lot of the questions here for you all if you’d like! Just lmk! Some that I see a lot-Blair and I are friends in real life; he used to date Brooke, but not anymore; Steve and Allie one of the pre-existing couples are no longer together; Mike and Rochelle and Matt and Ashley are married now.
Wow! Thanks for watching Hayley! You and Blair made this season memorable and fun to watch. My only question is how much time do you think it took from going up the tower the first time to realizing the parking lot was wrong? I imagine that being a frustrating experience having the win in the bag.
Oh gosh, most frustrating thing ever! Probably about an hour. Although, our selfies were so bad that we would’ve sadly never won. Production actually helped us out at the end because there were so few selfies that had any type of solid identifying markers. It was like a random plane selfie, and we wore the same clothes so much that we couldn’t even narrow it down. We were like “do you remember which of the million planes we’ve been on this month had purple seats?” 🤣 or, “hmm what airport’s food court was that?” If y’all ever want to know any cool behind the scenes type of info, I can def provide! I am a TAR fan, so seeing all the BTS stuff was the coolest ever for me.
Definitely not, but going into the whole thing, you know this can happen. 95% of the time, Blair and I got along great and we had fun. We would hang out after legs, eat together, and had some really great convos at the airport and on all the long plane rides. We are both competitive, and both fans of TAR, so we genuinely wanted to be there. Once we found our groove, we knew we were going to the end. We truly did work hard to get through each leg, and we were proud coming from the bottom to finishing high quite a bit :-) I’m actually close with a lot of the cast. Bergen and I talk weekly, if not daily. I was a grooms woman in Jeff’s wedding. Mike and Rochelle are 2 of my favorite people in the universe. I wouldn’t trade my experience (the good and bad) for the world :-)
Hi Hayley! I only have one question. If given the chance and you were invited back at TAR, would you and Blair race again? Thank you so much! Much love from the Philippines.
During casting, they asked me what is one profession I’d never date. Having spent the bulk of my career in trauma, I immediately said a surgeon…yet, I got a surgeon hahah
I’m a nurse and a bottom. I think I could make a relationship with another bottom work for at least a while. People can take one for the team and toys exist. I could definitely befriend the other person and compete as platonic partners without losing my damn mind. But dating/racing around the world with a surgeon? No. Un-think-a-ble. I’m glad they exist and they’re clearly a vital part of our medical system, but they are THE most arrogant people in the world. Nurses comfort and surgeons perform high-stakes dissections surrounded by people following orders to the letter. It’s not even close to the same profession. People become nurses and surgeons for wildly different reasons. We have wildly different worldviews. And a Venn diagram of qualities that make someone a good nurse and qualities that make someone a good surgeon would have no overlap beyond passing the first two years of science classes in college. Pairing a surgeon and a nurse because they both work in medicine makes about as much sense as pairing a nature photographer with a supermodel because they both work with cameras.
I love how Bergen was so determined to win the race that he didn’t even bother doing the least amount of research or practice on what would be an obvious and necessary requirement for the race.
Maybe he'd just found out about the race at that time and didn’t have the time of day to do that. He did say he's poor. If I were him, looking for financial stability and love at the same time; sitting in front of my TV watching and studying about a reality TV show would be the last thing I want to spend my time doing.
I remember reading an interview that they were both expecting their partners to be in charge of the driving, they said their match was the complete opposite of what they both had told casting they were looking for in a romantic partner
@@JustACoupleKids2 there’s been a recent interview that apparently only one team ever has come on the race without knowing it first… I can’t remember their names, but it was the gay couple from season 6(or 7, the seasons have blended together at this point for me), and they only applied because they thought it was going to be a get rich quick scheme…
I think Hayley and Blair were stuck in a vicious cycle - he thought she was obnoxious and stupid so he didn't listen to her, so got angry that he didn't listen to her and was obnoxious in her anger, he didn't listen to her because of how obnoxious she is when she's angry, she got angry because he wasn't listening and got more obnoxious. I think you were right about them both being awful in their own way.
If I was Blair’s teammate, I would be like “BLAAAIR!” all the time too because I’m not a patient person and most of the time in those kinds of situations I’m right.
I get Hayley can be annoying and be a bit disrespectful but oh my god Blair would be the most annoying TAR partner, I couldn’t ever have a partner that doesn’t communicate at all.
The dude just turned off his brain to survive being around her, she comments and yells about everything honestly seems exhausting to be around. Even the times she is right, to actually be able to hear them and use the information means listening to the hours long prelude of rambling angry nonsense she is constantly spewing.
She said she was tired of arrogant men and they put her together with someone exhibiting a God complex or at least trying very hard to adopt his talking habits.

I think the most memorable of the legs was Monaco and the box of chocolates/roses Roadblock and perfume making Detour task. It actually fit the theme of the season without being too blatant, new country visit, and the navigation was epic.
I would love this format again but with the pairs determined with the same compatibility test that the Married at First Sight people get and more relationship-building challenges
My family likes to bet on this show. Just $5 on who wins/goes farthest. I always lose. This season it was between my (now) wife and my teams, and she won, and I came in 2nd. Best I’ve ever done. Love this show, glad it’s back in a few weeks, however fleeting it might be.
i love this season lol, i was rooting for Hailey and Blair so hard, though Hailey can be a pain sometimes but so glad they won like 3 legs or something , also happy with the winners
I started to watch TAR last year, especially S26 was the first one. The last season had a lot of features that I was impressed, such as Yield, double Switchback, Mega leg, and City sprint etc. I cannot wait for the newest season (S33) in January next year.

This is actually one of the seasons that I watched. My mom would wait for me so we could watch it together. And, while I don't remember anything else, I remember Blair and Hayley.
The season may have been romantic Trainwreck for the most part, But this season did have one of my well my favorite amazing race teams in Mike & Rochelle. I also love the actual challenges in season. It's definitely not my favorite season, but at least for me I feel it is rewatchable.
I definitely remember this season being fun to watch and mostly due to Jackie and Jeff, and Hailey and Blair.. I totally forgot who won though because Tyler and Laura, while incredibly likeable, were also boring in comparison. I think TAR should do this concept again, but with all the teams being blind dates, and also put more thought into the matching process. Like, poor Bergen and Kurt looked like brothers... I can just imagine the drama and chaos of 10+ teams made entirely of strangers. Entertainment would be iconic!

On paper, it dose sound like a good idea (if you pair up the cpuples a little better) cuz you get to see both good and bad early, you can get a good feel for the other.
Despite the mess that was this cast, I would say this season had one of my favorite racecourses of all time. Really the only destination I didn't like was the Netherlands.
I have PTSD from this dance. We were there for about 4hrs just listening to the song play over and over and over while simultaneously rehearsing just to go f it up over and over and over 😆

Yes Hailey was annoying but she never did or said anything that made me hate her. For the most part ever one was nice and polite,
Not the greatest season; but it is worth a watch. This blind date concept of pairing strangers together was something the American series has never done before. So to have half new/stranger teams and half pre-existing relationship teams made for excitement. Me, naturally, I was rooting for the pre-existing teams (with Team Truck Stop being my favourite). The blind daters did great, better than the twosomes who already knew each other. The blind daters seemed to handle the stress of the race better. I remember the winners of the race were one twosome of blind daters.
No, we actually did work well together the bulk of the time, which is the funny part. Our spats would be maybe 3 minutes, but the whole 45 mins episode would revolve around it 🤷🏼♀️🤣

Season 26 was a great season and this is how I feel about the cast. From worst to best: 11. Hayley & Blair 10. Libby & CJ 9. Bergen & Kurt 8. Jeff & Lyda 7. Jelani & Jenny 6. Jeff & Jackie 5. Mike & Rochelle 4. Harley & Jonathan 3. Matt & Ashley 2. Aly & Steve 1. Laura & Tyler
I enjoyed this season. I once met Jackie while she was working the front desk at The Cosmopolitan. She was incredibly nice and open about talking about her Amazing Race experience. I had no idea she was on Big Brother too.
Well, it is the first season to introduce the super-leg and its also the first season where both team members have to do an equal number of Roadblocks. (I believe it’s called “the bowling moms’ rule” lol) Also, it contained a whopping number of eight co-Ed teams with only two all female teams and one all male team. As a result, the top 6 teams were all consisted of young couples. I believe this was the season that inspired the couples theme for season 26.

This season is good for bachelor fans..i forgot about it coz they are inactive on social media. They kept the drama off the insta..i can't believe a survivor fan made me appreciate this season
I also love The Amazing Race!
That rich gay guy was so annoying just bcoz he couldn't get a date, he gave up without considering the partner
Fun fact: One half of one pre-existing couple is a member of New Kids On The Block, a boyband in the 70s-80s, and it was Jonathan Knight.
Yep
He’s also on HGTV a lot now on Farmhouse Fixer Upper. He and Harley are incredible guys.
I'm terms of televised disasters, Blind Date has nothing on Family Edition (Season 8).
That's a whole other video lol
Okay, I Just want to say thank you SO MUCH for posting this video? If it wasn't for you I would have skipped over this season and I'm now eternally grateful to you because MY GOD did I enjoy this. I've heard people complain about this season but I absolutely loved it. I'll be honest, I kind of wish Blaire and Haley would have won but their character arc was honestly incredible. He wasn't even mad at her for messing up. I have to wonder if they still talk to one another.
Watch season 29 to see this basic idea of pairing up strangers perfected.
We do :-)
@@hayleykeel8899 Very happy to hear that. Despite the hiccups, I think you guys made a great team. Wouldn't mind you guys coming back someday for another round if you wanted
I’d so be down!
As a woman who found a woman, I can confirm that we lesbians too look for romantic partners who look exactly the same as us down to every precise detail. Sometimes I mix up my GF for my mirror.
Hayley and Blair are two polar opposites. what a horrible match
Laura and Tyler like I love there team like if they are still friends, that's find or probably together and married.
Yay, more TAR content! Honestly an underrated season imo, the theme sucks but the cast was pretty good.
You should do a video on the alliance from S32, I think that would be really cool to analyze. (The patrons pick the videos, I know, I know, I just thought I'd mention).
The patrons pick the... wait a minute... you stole my line!
@@OnceUponAnIsland Lol
Yeah, I'd love to see a video about that. I really don't like it when the Amazing Race gets super alliance-y, and that one really annoyed me. I understand helping out your friends once in a while, but that was ridiculous.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Phil: "When was the last time a woman called you perfect?"
Jeff: "My mom."
me: "King."
Lyda (still together and married to Jeff) appeared on Wheel of Fortune in December 2023.
Great vid. I never knew that Jackie and Jeff came from a blind date on Amazing Race (im a Big Brother fan)
Thank you for the verse at the end it will help alot of people's lives
i just noticed this! it’s such a cool addition and i’m gonna be looking for it at the end of all new episodes now
just wanted to say i love the verses at the end of your videos. 10/10
The blind daters did great, better than the twosomes who already knew each other. The blind daters seemed to handle the stress of the race better. I remember the winners of the race were one twosome of blind daters.
I remember this season for Hayley and Blair and also the trucker couple that couldn't drive stick
Just finished watching it lol she always tells him she was right😂😂(Blair and Hayley)
Blair & Hailey were the best of this season and their story arc was priceless XD
Love the channel man. Great narration.
Thank you 😊
9:46 “Jim’s the camera” 😂
Love your vids. Keep it up, and have a good holiday :)
Blair the entire race: 👁👄👁
My reaction with this entire season because lawwd, it was not good.
Jeff was seen on big brother live cams choking his chicken.
Wonder when we are going to get The amazing race: Blind edition.
If this video is accurate, it seems like standard reality TV shenanigans were going on behind scenes to keep Blaire and Haley in until the end
No, we actually did work well together the bulk of the time, which is the funny part. Our spats would be maybe 3 minutes, but the whole 45 mins episode would revolve around it 🤷🏼♀️🤣
As soul crushing as this ending was, the editing is chef’s kiss hilarious. :p
Are you going to do the full stranger season??? some great hot messes on there and of course some of the best teams ever #teamfun
That's up to the patrons 😊
What season is that
@@philadelphian7814 Season 29
@@OnceUponAnIsland thanks
Bergen & Kurt could have been doppelgBängers 😂
I thought it would be amazing if hailey and blaire won
But the way it ends in that final leg is so poetic like all season built up to it unintentionally.
@@OnceUponAnIsland true it was so beautiful. I felt so bad for Blaire!!!
Idk I felt pretty bad for Hayley 😉
Jelani and Jenny need 2nd chance... like an all-stars season or an unfinushed business season 2...
i’ve never watched tar or been interested in it but this has made me very curious!! i am gonna try and watch this season
update mee
AR Producers: ok so we’ve got a hot nurse, put her with the hot doctor…we’ve got two non-white people, obviously they’re a pair…the gays are twins, good work…
Lolol this made me laugh! This is accurate
Season 26 was a great season and this is how I feel about the cast.
From worst to best:
11. Hayley & Blair
10. Libby & CJ
9. Bergen & Kurt
8. Jeff & Lyda
7. Jelani & Jenny
6. Jeff & Jackie
5. Mike & Rochelle
4. Harley & Jonathan
3. Matt & Ashley
2. Aly & Steve
1. Laura & Tyler
Tyler and Blair are two of the handsomest racers of all time.
I enjoyed this season. I once met Jackie while she was working the front desk at The Cosmopolitan. She was incredibly nice and open about talking about her Amazing Race experience. I had no idea she was on Big Brother too.
Which of the regular dating teams is not together anymore? Couldn’t find the info on the wiki
Steve and Allie
The funny thing is I don't remember the rest of this season, but as soon as I saw the finish with Hayley it all came rushing back to me.
I love this BLIND DATE season. Especially Rx For Love team.
Thanks :-)
Holy shit her laugh at the end is the best part.
Why would they make only half the teams that way? Seems odd to not continue the schtick to the entire season
They did the entire cast in season 29 as strangers and it was much better.
I just finished the season. And I was hoping for blair and haylee to win🥲
Thanks 😊
We watched this season during homeroom in middle school! Laura and Tyler ftw
Rumour has it that Ford was not happy with them for leaving a car in the middle of the road and cut off ties with Amazing Race
Probably because it makes it seem like it is hard to drive. I believe it.
this season was such a fun brand of messy imo its great
I just started watching the amazing race, but were they allowed to have cell phones in the season? I see that Kent had one.
They were given them this season to take selfies and get clues.
I’d love to hear you assess the dating teams on season 6. That season was so full of drama there was never a dull moment.
I have yet to watch season 6, is there a twist to it?
Well, it is the first season to introduce the super-leg and its also the first season where both team members have to do an equal number of Roadblocks. (I believe it’s called “the bowling moms’ rule” lol) Also, it contained a whopping number of eight co-Ed teams with only two all female teams and one all male team. As a result, the top 6 teams were all consisted of young couples. I believe this was the season that inspired the couples theme for season 26.
@@OnceUponAnIsland They introduced more African legs by popular demand. That's about the other twist.
Okay, I skipped over this season because it sounded dumb, but now I want to go back and watch it. So I think I'll do just that.
It's a fun dumb.
I couldnt see anything on that parking garage. What was she seeing??
MORE RACE. MORE RACE. MORE RACE.
Jan 5 brings a new season!
@@OnceUponAnIsland And I'm counting down the days.
I was rooting for blare and Hailey they were chaotic 😅
Chaotic is the perfect word for them.
I grew to love both of them. I was weirdly hoping they would be the couple to actually end up dating.
iconic
Accurate 😆
@@hayleykeel8899 you look similar to Anna Farris (Scary Movie) lol I enjoyed you on the show
It was my first season and it was a damn good season I thought the blind date turmoil was interesting 😂
“I’m always right, and you never listen!” Sounds like they’re married!
Honestly, Blair and Hailey remind me of how my aunt and her husband used to be, though both have come a long way.
