those bumpers look welded on well, but I have seen the bumper tear and fall off, and the weld is still holding on to the thin bumper material, so weld didn't fail, but bumper will, so what you are adding is very valuable. Watch those cheap bumpers though , with any weight on them.

I did remember seeing a part of it so that's why I was wondering how this may affect skirting. As the install is below the bumper, it shouldn't present a problem. Thanks for the video, we have a highland ridge now with the same bumper- we're going to have four bikes on a bike rack- how are you liking the bumper supports and the bumper hitch by mount and lock?
The supports and hitch have been great! I did tighten the hitch bolts after 2500 miles (probably could have done it sooner). After bouncing around across country there was a bit of play in the setup. Once tightened again, everything was super stable. Also, remember that the more weight you put on the back of your trailer takes some weight off the truck hitch, and potentially adds stress to your trailer suspension. Hope this helps! Happened to me. Pulling a smaller Harley with a bumper wheel lift (front wheel goes in a cradle).

So this will support a 60 pound bike racks and 150 pounds of e-bikes… plus the spare tire that’s already on the bumper?
I dunno about ebikes. Our bikes and the bike rack weigh in at about 125 total
