- Metallica and Rammstein are big. That’s how far the similarity goes. Except one more thing.

Rammstein has never had a single lineup change. They were friends before they became Rammstein. Richard Kruspe even has a daughter with Till Lindemann’s ex wife. She actually carries Lindemann’s last name. Those two are like boyfriends. They’re inseparable. The chemistry that exists between them and love that they have for each other has helped them remain themselves and take over the World. They don’t have a single bad record IMO. They are one of the most unique, solid, and incredible live bands on Earth.
They're not musicians that became friends, but friends that became musicians.
Their music is copy+paste
@@Pirustae no 😅
@@Pirustae you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
@@PirustaeYou just described like 95% of metal.
James naturally has a higher voice than Till, so it sounded a lot more unusual when Metallica went to drop C tuning. I feel like Till’s deeper voice was able to hide the fact that they were tuning down a bit. That and Rammstein’s music is very simplistic most of the time. Simplistic, yet heavy power chord riffs. When Metallica went from more complex riffs to simplistic, down tuned arrangements, it came off weird because they never did that before. Rammstein has always kept their simplistic, heavy sound, so tuning down didn’t really strike anyone’s ears as sounding unusual.
Rosenrot & Reise Reise don’t even sound that low and they’re both in Drop C. When Metallica did it, it just didn’t work IMO
i know one thing for sure: both my dad and i like metallica and rammstein
Both bands are equal to me, nothing can change my opinion, love ‘em both
I love how you translated Metallica's album titles into German. 😁
Who cares both bands are awesome and legendary.
To be honest, you all love Metallica for their old things. At the same time every new release of Rammstein has something, what goes directly into greatest hits. For sure, the influence of Metallica cannot be underestimated.
Слава Украине!
I've been going through Rammstein albums, they're pretty solid and heavy on every album
Fun Fact: Rammstein have never tuned lower then Drop A. The lowest tuning they ever did was Drop B on the "Zeit" album but there is a demo which had Drop A tuning (not released).
What demo? I’ve never heard of this before.
Metallica's Saint Anger didn't work because:
>1 - Hetfield's voice is too high for such downtunes.
>2 - Metallica is instrumentally complex. Going more simplistic felt like dumbing down.
On the other hand, I've always seem Rammstein as the Nirvana of heavy metal: Simple, catchy, effective, and followed by a culture; Grunge in the former, Industrial in the latter. As such, there isn't really much to change, and anything works!
Love both bands! 🤟
To be fair St. Anger was also done in a drastically different style than both the classic albums and the 90’s albums. I think Rammstein always sounds like Rammstein, even through the changes.
As you could say Metallica was the god that failed
Two best metal bands ever
Rammstein is a band other bands can look up to as a kind of group dynamic, they're all doing what they like and what they do great, they listen to each other, sure they can make silly songs and silly lyrics but that is just part of what they all are as a band.
I grew up to ajfa, fell in love with R+ around 10 years ago and proud LIFAD, Rammstein is my favorite band for years, also lars decided to do so much coke he simply can not play at that speed anymore unlike doom who you could set your watch to he is so precise, also rzk purchased his first guitar just to sell to make some money , but then the girls liked him playing even tho he couldn't play guitar yet so he kept it lol
Feuer Frei is litterally fuel riff and the thing solo
That riff in the beginning sounds exactly like the riff in Crowbar's "Command of Myself".
Great band. Their best album in my opinion.
I enjoy both bands
Everyone did not love -Human. -Human was too forgettable to be loved or hated. I don't think Metallica themselves even remember it anymore.
Never liked the "did your mom" troll. I mean, we've all done my mom.
Don’t want to alarm anyone,…..Metallica started it all!
St anger was the worst Metallica album… period
The biggest issue was notes in between fucking with Kirk
Rammstein kinda ass tho
They did her for sure😛
first😂
My 2 fav band
Ah, yes. Europe, Germany. My favorite city.
He’s been coming at Metallica a lot lately
Very interesting!
Metallica forever ♥️
That's a joke?

Oh for God's sake, Andriy! Really? Rammstein? Why even put that joke of a band in the same comparison scale with the giant?
yea see but metallica was good, rammstein was never
Terrible take
Metallica failed because its exist.
Metallica sold out after Cliff died and refound their roots during St. Anger imfao.
Nah, St. Anger tried riding the wave of Nu Metal which had gained popularity in the mainstream from bands like Korn and SOAD. Death Magenetic is closer to their roots than St. Anger, but it was a step in that direction for sure.
What are you doing on this channel?
@@evancole6852 St. Anger has terrible instrumentals which I found refreshing, but yeah, Death Magnetic brought them "sort of" back to their Sophomore album.
Now.......how about LuLu. Love that album more than any 90s Metallica.

I LOVE Metallica, they got me into metal in the first place, but.. Rammstein is my favorite band. Better lyrics in general, definitely a heavier sound, simple riffs but fuck me if they don't sound good.
@@iremcansiz Yes, better lyrics.
@@iremcansiz Actually I'd like to add something before you reply. Rammstein goes places that Metallica wouldn't touch with a 10 foot stick. Rape, Necrophilia, Cannibalism. Rammstein doesn't give a fuck, they make songs about it, but also denounce it at the same time.
@@Tony-The-Motherfucking-Tiger controversial doesn't mean better
@@franekwasowski71 I never said it did
Disposable Heroes and One have phenomenal anti war lyrics and no Rammstein song I can think of has better lyrics of a similar subject. Just because the subjects of rape, necrophilia and cannablism are shocking and controversial doesn't mean they make the best lyrics. Metallica has plenty of equally good and better lyric themes in their songs. And they've mentioned rape in their song Broken, Beat & Scarred and a few of their covers have very controversial lyrics/themes (So What, Last Caress, Die Die My Darling)
