I love your tips. I'm 22, but my mom is in her 50's and she lost most of her vision so it's difficult to do her make up. But I want to be able to her make up for her when she goes out for special occasions. Thank you for all your videos! 💕

I have watched countless baking videos and your video literally left me with the best look that I’ve ever had. Thank you SO MUCH!! I have really dry skin so it is hard to bake and not see more lines underneath my eyes but when I followed your video step-by-step, I got a really great outcome so thank you so much!!!

I see so many young girls with terrible skin. They apply makeup to hide it, but it seldom works. If you do not clean your skin properly, you're not going to have nice make up. Trust me on this.

Thank you! Baking always seemed to make my undereyes too dry, so I stopped, even though I love the porcelain look it gives. Your tip at the end, saying start lower with the powder, don't put too much under the eye, I think is going to solve my problem. I was doing it the opposite way, putting the most right under my eye. I can't wait to try baking again tomorrow. I am so freaking glad I found someone who isn't 25, who looks as gorgeous as you do, to subscribe to and get make-up tips from. I'm 55, and I LOVE make-up. I don't think I should have to go all minimalist because of my age. I love your look. You're gorgeous! Thank you thank you thank for having a channel, lol! 😘😘😘😘😘

I am so glad to see someone closer to my age showing a tutorial on baking my concealer. I haven't done it because I've been worried it would really accent my fine lines and make it look worse! You look amazing! I'm going to give it a try! Thank you so much!!

I'm a 50 year old adult and I bake under my eyes with the RCMA no colour powder. To combat the powder creases which will inevitably appear after a while, because I love to smile. I am human not a doll or a mannequin, I have earned every one of my beautiful lines. To help with the lines after a while, I pat on a really tiny little bit of extra hydrating concealer, it really helps to combat those fine lines. My favourite concealers are the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless or the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer. You can even use a little Jojoba oil but just make sure with what ever hydration you use, it is the tiniest pin point amount and just gently tap it in, do not move it, just tap. Then go over with your Set and Spray. You are an absolutely beautiful woman and you look great whether you bake or not but I could see the difference with the baking and it looked wonderful. Makeup is for adults too so you keep on baking!!

I've discovered blotting with the thin cheap toilet paper a couple times throughout the day works wonders at refreshing makeup. I just grab a handful and blot, not rub, all over my face and it takes away anything that is settling in weird and grease, leaves you looking refreshed and mattes away the shine!

If it starts to settle back into the lines.. use a very tiny drop of jojoba on your finger and pat it over the lines. This will solve it.. :-)

Jojoba oil is cheap, and can be bought at most health food or natural products stores. Otherwise, try a pharmacy. Do your concealer under your eyes as normal, set with powder.. then as the day goes on..if it starts to look like its settling into your lines.. just get a tiny drop to moisten your finger. Then pat lightly. Glad to help ladies. A small bottle of it will last a long time. It can be used as well with foundation, if your skin is a little dry..just mix a drop with your foundation before applying.. then apply as normal.

So happy that I found you! I am a "natural" girl early 50's and can pretty much get away with some tinted BB cream, mascara and lipstick, which I usually do in the car if we are going out but have always wanted to learn how to glam. You are now my Guru on glam, simple makeup! My husband will be thrilled, he thinks I'm beautiful no matter whats on my face, but every once in a while he wants a movie star. Now I think I can give it to him!

I find it depends on moisturizing first then which type of powder. The best result one time was with Elf high definition under eye setting powder. This 62 year old had NO VISIBLE tiny lines at all. I wore it to work and so many people made a pleasant and positive comment about my looks that day.

I wondered about that too. Anything that involves powder seems to look terrible after a few hours. I've learned one tip due to my use of mineral makeup. When it starts getting shiny or a bit greasy or its starting to settle into lines just blot- don't rub- with the thin papery type of toilet paper, the cheap kind, tissue paper works as well,it totally freshens your look!

I did NOT know of this "baking". I haven't always used the set powder under my eyes but it looks so polished. I am at the front lines of a customer service type setting and I THINK it can make me look tired without setting powder. I had JUST used the under eye concealer and didn't KNOW why it looked muddy by the afternoon. NOW I know. I am NOT afraid of my fine smile lines around my eyes but I don't want them to look muddy. THIS method looks fresh. THANK YOU!

Thank you for explaining nearer to the end about why this works and why it makes a difference to just dusting powder on lightly; also, for showing that the lines don't show up any worse with or without this method. I'm going to give this another try at some point, I didn't really do it correctly. I'm tired of seeing my concealer migrating into my lines and looking worse than if I hadn't used any! I greatly appreciate the time, effort, and detail you put into this video.

I certainly think your under eye area looks better after baking. The bag looks almost completely gone along witn the discoloration. You're correct that baking doesn't make our fine lines disappear but it blurs and smooths them enough to make you feel more special for the occasion.

In my opinion the baking-under-the-eye is only good for really young people :( It dries out the under eye area like crazy and accentuates wrinkles/fine lines - at least in my case, so I had to stop doing it:( I still think it's super important to set the concealer, I just think that leaving the loose powder for 10 min under the eye area makes the wrinkles worse, they look dry during the day.

I too love the look! I love the ELF'S brushes too! They last long and slide the makeup of on be beautifully! The other thing I love about their brushes is that they are Vegan & Cruelty free. And one cannot get a better brush for the money. They have a new face primer in a pump. It is called ELFS Illuminating face primer. One only needs a little bit. I put a few small dabs around my chin, cheeks, underneath my eye where other primers are often used.& a dab above my Cupid's bow and on my forehead. Use sparingly b/c a little goes a long way. Then I blend it into my skin with an ELF brush and in circular motions blend it in. Then I take my foundation and apply it sparingly ! I have pale skin but I get a lot of compliments about how beautiful my skin looks. No one has ever guessed my age and usually think I am 22 years younger than I am. In fact when my mother was dying in 2015, I was driving so slow b/c I was crying. I was pulled over by a police officer. He took my ID and accused me for having "fake ID" He kept on saying, you are just a kid!! So long story short, he booked me into the police department & kept me there for 4 hours. After which he came out and finally let me go home. He still wanted a few more pieces of ID which I had to bring to the police station in 7 days. Everyone still called me a kid! Even though I was very sad, I told him he made my day Whenever, I wear this primer from ELF, I am always told I look 22 years younger than I am. It would also compliment dark skin beautifully too. At $5.25 it's a steel! Thank you for your wonder videos! Susan

Thanks for sharing your technique , it looks lovely. After much trail and error, for me personally, I have decided to use no concealer or powder because on my face, it looks better moisturized and left alone, with highlighter , high on my check bones.

Oh my goodness you are stunning. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm going to do my mum a makeover and wanted advice. You are SO Pretty and I don't know how "old" you are but you certainly have "aged" well! I don't see any age spots on your skin. I have a few age spots, or sun spots on my face, some not so noticeable but 2 of them RIGHT in the middle of my left cheek! I JUST bought Dermablend Smooth Liquid Camo in Bisque and I think it covers well. I have under eye dark circles and I don't DARE put powder on them or they are so noticeable! I just turned 62 and suddenly my skin is so different than it was! I don't have a lot of wrinkles but some so I guess I just have to live with them! Thanks for the video!

Baking the concealer, powder etc defo looks way more polished. The deeper lines are still prominent, but finer lines have receded...and of course your skin colour has evened out as is obviously the norm when using concealer.
I think over all it is definitely worth the tiny bit of extra time to apply & wait.
Thankyou so much for sharing...wonderful video and explanation

I'm so glad I found your channel! I will be 53 very soon and I've only been learning makeup application in the last two years. And baking has not worked for me. I've used Ben Nye, Sacha Buttercup powder. Several drugstore loose powders. It gives me what I call corpse undereye. It looks very dry to me. I see it works for you like I've seen it work for so many on UA-cam. I color correct. Use a beauty blender. Use my finger. It doesnt matter. I've never been happy with my under eyes after baking. Oh well. I set it lightly with one of my powders and I'm happy. But on so many videos I've watched, the undereye looks so flawless when they bake. Maybe some day I will find a powder that gives me that. Looking forward to watching your videos.

Love the cute new intro! Enjoyed learning your new technique and will certainly give it a try before commenting on whether it works for eyes more " mature" than yours. Hope all of the girls out there watch some of the ladies on UA-cam in the more mature category and realize that what they are doing to their faces in their 20s, 30s and 40s will determine what they will be dealing with later on. I don't think I wore sunscreen, serums or even moisturizers most days until I hit my mid 50s and I am now paying the price trying to reverse all the years I neglected my skincare. Everyone is so busy these days but please take the extra few minutes each day to take care care of your skin and you will thank yourself later in life. Love your videos Nisha!
